That’s a great machine. I was amazed at how well it handled the larger logs. The auto feed never let the chipper bog down and the rpm’s were back to max speed very quickly.
@@DudeRanchDIY on the roller lift to aid feeding larger material. Most all UK chippers, Forst, timber Wolf, greenmech, TP etc don't have it. if you are getting into the upper limits of the chipper log capacity, we just cut the butt at an angle for the rollers to draw in the larger logs easier, it's quicker too, you just adapt to that cutting style when working with these machines. In the same way we probably have to "sned" (delimb) or brash / trees way more than you guys with the bigger drum chippers like bandit, Vermeer etc. so cool to see a forst over the pond for sure ! How do you like that green works ? I had one to help with prototyping but have yet to get my hands on the finished article
@theautisticarborist6846 yeah I am pretty used to cutting at an angle even for the older bandit 150’s without a hydraulic yoke lift. Is it 100% necessary? Not definitely not but something I’d like to see even if it were a mechanical lever to open the feed wheels. Just makes for a safer more consistent feeding process.
hello I'm new to your channel.I've been watching for a couple weeks I don't always comment But I do always put a like on the video That thing is a Beast and I don't know if you do this But can You do a weekly Video on how much firewood stand made. Please.
Nice machine, guys. Even better that you can take it to the brush instead of the other way around! They’re pricey but the amount of time saved by a full time crew would probably pay for it in a few seasons…
This particular machine is about $75k the do make other models of varying cost. Give Kenny the USA sales manager a call. His number is in the description, tell him you saw it on Dude Ranch.

Missed Chris👍
It’s like a Transformer. Optimus Prime.
That is awesome ! Can you open up the feed wheels to help feed bigger pieces ? Also is there a tray that drops under to help clean out ?
No, both are things I’d like to see improved.

I’m gonna start to call you Little Mike Morgan. lol
🤣
Its also nice that you can bring the machine to your work and not have to drag the limbs for a long distance
💯
Will the mini skid & track chipper fit on equipment trailer?
Yes
Need to put a small winch on it to help pull bigger peace’s to chipper
They come with winches as an option from factory
@@DudeRanchDIY thanks for replying. I guess that a high dollar add on low

For sure, if you have the right jobs for it this chipper could prove to be extremely useful.
Super impressive machine. What’s the cost difference between this and the woodmaxx?
About $70k cost difference
Great machine. What is the approx cost in USA? Good to see both of you but especially MIA Chris.
For this unit I believe around $75k
I'm saving my pennies for a Woodmaxx MX 8800.
Nice machine and it ate up the bigger pieces but sad to see the bigger pieces go through would of been firewood
Low Chris you need to put an eye him

You need a separate channel called Dude Ranch Toy Stories.
Specifically for all the toys you have.
lol I like equipment
How did you get your hands on one i looked on the forst website but it said they dont have any dealers in the US
We’ve been talking back and forth for a while now. I believe they just recently set up locations in California and Connecticut
How much does that cost? Where can I get one?

Where did you purchase from in USA??
I have a deal worked out with them but they recently opened dealers within the USA!
Först is a Swedish word. It means "First".
They intended the German meaning of “forest”
