All of the new Legacy reveals have been super exciting. One thing I'm hopeful to see based off the promo art is the Armada Prime that had a prototype shown a few years ago. And since Legacy is offering more Beast Wars characters maybe they'll offer up some Fuzors or Transmetals.
Yeah, I knew they were lying when they said that Prime Prototype wasn't a real thing. Like why would you mold the Fists into the feet if it was just meant to look like something you could maybe make, if you actually designed it.
Definitely hoping that Armada Prime is commander class so we can have him combine with his trailer and maybe come with a minicon or more than one minicon for the other armada characters

Tarn is such a beautiful figure, I can’t wait to get one. I’m usually the type of person who drags her feet when buying new figures since I’m afraid to buy something I don’t know I’ll like but this is the exception. The second I see a Tarn I’m buying him.

The voyagers are easily the highlight for this wave for me, as a huge fan of both Lio Convoy and Tarn is practically a dream come true to have them in the year’s opening wave
Legacy’s just generally made the voyagers the most solid and coolest figures in the line period. Tarn looks like a nearly flawless leader class with hardly any hollowness and Leo Prime looks better than the masterpiece, overall Hasbro are doing a great job on the voyager front.
Honestly, figures of Lio Convoy look good when shoulders are actually on shoulders, as that head is more original for kibble usage and at least fromt paws has blades extending from underside so they work as some form of claw weapons

The Legacy Evolution reveals are awesome. Along with other reveals from Shattered Glass and Velocitron. -Core Class Soundblaster looks cool. Half of me thought that he would have the Mercenary badge, or the Decepticon badge. Either way, he looks cool. Like for the tape deck chest is purple and that he'll come with a yellow Buzzsaw cassette tape. I hope this will lead to a voyager class cassette player Soundblaster down the line. -Shattered Glass Sir Soundwave looks awesome. Hasbro has done a great job with the white and blue repaint and remolded head, so Soundwave has his green bandana. Like the Siege Laserbeak and Ravage repaint as well. -Stunticon Breakdown is cool. I don't mind that he's a reuse of the Wild Rider mold. But the gun and spoiler to be a weapon, I don't praise it, it's both lazy and suck. I would rather have the spoiler be part of his legs and spilt when he transforms. And for him to have two guns, like the other car Stunticons. And cool that his packaging is still Legacy and not Evolution. -Velocitron Speedia 500 wave 2, Galaxy Shuttle. The name isn't that creative if I'm being honest. Sounds more of what he is, than his actual name. But I like how Galaxy Shuttle looks. And it's cool that the Victory Universe is getting some representation. I do hope that we get a G1 toy color Astrotrain from the Siege/Earthrise mold somewhere in the Legacy line. -Targetmaster Needlenose. He loses two fan votes back in the War for Cybertron trilogy in Siege and Earthrise, so I'm stoke that he's finally getting a new figure. But I do like your idea, of how the wing backpack should have open up so the nose cone could fold into his torso. To have a better transformation and look better. And he comes with his little Targetmasters, Sunbeam and Zigzag, cool. -Junkion Scraphook is awesome. First off, his design looks great. Secondly, he's a weaponizer that doesn't partsform to transform. Love that. Wish that something back in the WFC Trilogy. -Core Class Sludge and Slag. First off, I agree with your rant about Slag's name. Secondly, it's a pass for me. As I already have the Volcanicus combiner. But I like what Hasbro is doing with the core class Dinobots. Having six members to make Volcanicus. As the theory goes, this will be remolded as the Dinoforce combiner Dinoking, from the Japanese side of Transformers. -Armada Universe Hot Shot is cool. I remember growing watching Armada. Hot Shot was my Bumblebee. And Legacy Evolution as done an awesome job with him. But I do agree with his back legs, wish it was done another way. As it looks like the windshields prevent leg bend. I do wish he came with his minicon helicopter partner Jolt though. -Beast Wars ll Leo Prime. Honestly don't have much to say. His robot mode looks cool, and it said that his chest can open up to have an energon matrix. Will get this anyways to go along with Maximal Skywarp and Grimlock to face God Neptune. -IDW Universe Tarn is awesome. From Decepticon mask to toes, Tarn looks like he was pull straight out of the IDW comics. Sure his mask doesn't come off, but it's fine with me. Tank mode looks great, I do wish he was a leader class instead of voyager, as he looks like he should be taller. A must have in my book.
Breakdown just doesn't have the right altmode, and yeah the Spoiler is super lazy, like how did they not just make that part of his transformation naturally. Yeah his name is too descriptive, it sounds like a product listing rather than a characters name. I think this is probably the Needle Nose that was intended to come out in those two fan votes. They probably had him laying around are really wanted to use him, but no one would vote for it. This is probably going to be the Best Weaponizer. Yeah I don't see these dinobots being hot sellers, they look real crappy and lame. And yes EVERYONE agrees Slug is stupid. I was always confused as to weather or not Hotshot was bumblebee growing up. Like he fit that same role, was the right colors for the most part, he was so weird to me. He just looks so silly to me those legs kill me. Everyone wants Tarn. They better make enough.
I’m extremely excited for Hot Shot, Lio Convoy, and Tarn. Tarn is just epic, not much else to say about him. Hot Shot is a character I quite liked in Armada, and this might be his first decent figure, so that’s cool. And Lio Convoy, for some reason, is one of my favorite transformer designs ever. Don’t know why, but he is. His figure looks really solid, other than the hilariously bad lion face.
I'm excited for everything in this first wave, especially lio convoy and galaxy shuttle because I love the Japanese side of transformers. I'm loving the armada love coming this year with hot shot and the armada prime in the poster too. Also the designer for the core dinobots, Evan Brooks, hinted at a possible reuse of the team, and with all the victory love going around due to the release of victory saber soon, most people believe that the dinobots will be used as pretools for the dinoking team. I adore that combiner team so much so I'm very excited to get that when they comes out.
Yeah that is a rumor the TF Podcast is real happy to espouse right now. It makes some sense, but I don't think it can be taken as a given at this point.
Although disappointed in Breakdown I am not surprised that one of the Stunticons is recolor with some remolding. It makes me wonder with Breakdown and Wildrider being recolors is something that Hasbro will say something like " We did it that way to make a shortcut to te allocate design money for Moter Master" and the people praising the weapon is in denial since they most likely pre-order him before his revealed.
It’s not really an excuse for Hasbro to not do cartoon accuracy because of cost concerns, they’ve done it in the past with figures and some get treated well when some don’t. Overall they could’ve just went the extra mile and made him a Lambo.
As someone who has professed Breakdown to be their favorite Stunticon, I feel like he got a bit shafted for my liking. I'm still gonna pick it up, but the fact that he isn't the same alt mode as Sideswipe bugs me. Tarn and Scraphook look great, and I'm also really interested in the Needlenose for some reason, despite not even knowing who the character is outside of the VS pack that never happened.
That's very interesting, because I never really think of these as videos people would care to see twice. I Kind of view them as Magazines, periodicals that don't have much value after a month since time has moved on.
I hope that if they have that Mad Max looking Junkion muscle car from the poster be an actual figure, that they have a repaint of it as an animated-esc Lockdown. It would still work with the Junkion theme since Lockdown was known for swapping out his body parts. If it’s a generation selects or something they could even include additional arm and leg parts to make the robot mode more reminiscent of the animated design while still having all the symmetrical parts for the alt-mode. That shit would sell like hot cakes Edit: I only might pick up the dinobot combiner if they do them as the dinoforce or whatever that pretender combiner team was called.

Gotta love how Galaxy Shuttle is not only lacking in terms of a name, but also a personality. According to TFWiki, his bio is “he is the shuttle”. THAT’S IT. This man is a blank slate of a character. He could be ANYTHING.
This was the first Transformers wave in a long time when I love EVERY SINGLE ONE of the new reveals. I look forward to owning all of these figures. Especially Needlenose, Scraphook, Hot Shot, and Tarn.
I know where he Originated, but he was Stupid in the Head Masters. Being a Separate somewhat crazy character with an Inferiority complex, made him way more interesting.
Scraphook looks to be the out of nowhere darling of the line. Every comment you made about Hot Shot was on point. As a non-US viewer your Slag rant gave me life and "Jazztrotrain" was the best nickname of your proposed two for Galaxy Shuttle (Who does look more like Jazz the more you stare at him).

I'm from Ireland. We do share a lot of slang talk with the UK, though I'm sure any irritations perceived between the 2 countries is more like banter between friendly neighbours. I prefer Slag's original name since it was chosen with some meaning when the designers had to name a brutish metal dinosaur robot who was a member of a gang of brutish metal dinosaur robot misfits.
I wonder if we'll ever get core class Constructicons that combine into Devastator; in a similar fashion to the upcoming Dinobots. Devastator seems quite under-represented despite being such an iconic character.

Scraphook and Tarn are the highlights, along with the Core Soundwave rerelease. I'm not sure how I'd "fix" Leo Convoy, but I'm fairly certain it would make the toy a less accurate depiction of the original character.

I CALLED IT On the 86 Wreckgar video I commented that the Junkion 1 in the Legacy listings might be a weaponizer in response to PE wanting a Junkion Weaponizer. Surprisingly it actually happened.
1. Soundblaster: He does not have the Mercenary badge because they are trying to be accurate to the Headmasters anime. Thats why his chest is purple not red, unlike his 2 Siege figures 2. Brakedown: The worst part of him is that he is designed not to partsform. There is a port on both legs. All you have to do is take a utility knife and cut it in half. The same thing happened with SS86 Ironhide. The hipskirt is designed to seprate but doesnt. I can send you a tutorial if you want. 3. Galaxy Shuttle. Hello there VicspectiveEnd. There will be a fun fact about him later in the comment. Itll make sense soon 4. Needlenlse: Yes, his transformation is mostly likely simple due to including both targetmasters. Wave distribution and all that too. If you want more info I can link that to you. 5. Scraphook: His vehicle mode can also split in half to combine with other Junkions in legacy to make crazy Mad Max vehicles 6. That England rant is comedy gold. Good to have ranty Perspective back. It felt like he went away but heres a classic to bring him back 7. Volcanicus: You know what time it is. Transformers Lore with Ashla! Go! Volcanicus is now a 6 man team. Who is the 6th dinobot you might ask? IDW Skar. What other combiner is made out of 6 dinosaurs? Victory Dinoking. His chest is made out of the triceratops and (insert sludge dino here). The sixth member turns into (spiky dino name here). Skars beast mode was never shown. These are just Dinoking pretools. Legacy Dinoking would be perfectly on scale with Galxaxy Shuttle. (Told ya it'd come back.) My man Galaxy Shuttle was combiner sized. Also, Hasbro has hinted at retooling the dinobots into dinoking in at least 1 interview. 8. Hot Shot: fun fact. Each legacy Unicron Trilogy figure has gotten a new mould 9. Lio Convoy: One of my favorite Beast Wars charachters. Right up there next to Blackarachnia and Airazor. (Top 3 BW charachters) 10. Brakedown 2: He was supposed to be part of Legacy Wave 4 along with ER Wheeljack, Kingdom Cheetor, and Legacy Twincast. Twincast has been moved back to Legacy Wave 3 (I think, dont quote me on that). But the Siege version also didn't have the Faction Badge he should, so we have no good representation of the only interesting version of this character, as the Head masters one is just REGULAR Soundwave in black. Breakdown might as well be renamed Letdown. He's not just a retool of Wildrider, he's barely a retool. 2/3 of the car are the same, and it actually makes it look weird because it throws the proportions off. At the least I could've gotten by with some details on the side windows and a change to the headlights. I don't need a completely different figure to be happy, but a photo negative just ain't cutting it
Breakdown’s now officially the most disappointing Stunticon of Legacy, the other four are definitely much better in design than he is despite him and Wildrider sharing a mould. I’ve got to say though that even though he’s not a Lamborghini I still dig his robot mode, even when I’ve just criticised it. He’s still a clear pick up me still.
I'm really looking forward to evolution. Me and my friend are already speculating who we're gonna get next. Maybe more characters from Transformers Cybertron, or a commander class Lugnut? They'd both fit the whole evolution shtick pretty well, with the cyber key gimmick and lugnut's insane arsenal of weapons Also, *mega* thanks for bringing up hot shot's feet, it's driving me insane no one has mentioned them at all
And I’m back too! (Crickets) Anyways, here’s my thoughts: Soundblaster: I gave the Core Soundwave to a friend last year for her birthday, and she really enjoyed it. So going off of her account and yours, it’s a good figure. But I don’t really know. I collect in Deluxe/Voyager scale and don’t really collect Cores unless they fit that scale, like Rattrap or the Pretenders. Cool how he’s based on the Headmasters anime, but I’m sticking with my Voyager Mercenary SB. (I wish he was in the Netflix show more. He was so cool.) And speaking of Voyagers, Shattered Glass Soundwave: I need this. It looks awesome, and it gives me a chance to experience the Netflix Soundwave mold for the first time. It’s a win-win. Jazztrotrain: I had money on this either being Cryotek or a Quintesson Overcharge. Or I wish I did. (I need friends.) Anyways, this guy is a nothing character to me, and I’m not really interested in him. Nor am I interested in the rest of Velocitron wave 2. I have a Hot Rod and Drag Strip already, and Crasher is another nothing character I don’t know that well. So, thanks, but no thanks. Slag and Sludge: I had no idea that Michigan was the size of the whole UK. I should learn more about my own home state at some time. Anyways, the reason Slag and Sludge are the torso for the combined mode is because they’re making a Victory Dinoking from these molds, which I suspect they’re gonna be making into a Monstructor afterwards. Which is cool, but I don’t know. Monstructor was huge in the IDW1 comics, towering over the Scramble City Combiners and reaching Devastator and Omega’s heights. So, cool idea, but not the Monstructor I’d want personally. Needlenose: I know how bad this looks, but I still feel vindicated. Needlenose lost two consecutive fan votes, and everyone in those got made or is getting made soon. So getting a Needlenose after all this time feels cathartic to me. Although yeah, those Targetmasters are pretty terrible. Scraphook: I’m never suspected the Junkions to be the next army-builder, but I’m not complaining. I’d probably display him in alt mode if I got him. The Mad Max aesthetic is too cool. Breakdown: He’s aight. I get why people are mad that he’s a retool, but I’m just gonna use him as a leg anyways, so I’m not that mad about it personally. But the spoiler axe is kinda dumb, I won’t lie to you there. Hot Shot: I may pass on this. I like the design of Armada Hot Shot, but I kinda like the IDW2 version more. Plus, I haven’t really seen enough of Armada to have affinity for the character. I could say the same for Armada Starscream, but Screamer did look like that in Dark Cybertron and the Windblade series, so it’s got that going (although Hot Shot was in the Windblade series now that I think about it). I’m considering picking up the Siege one instead. Leo Prime: I get your complaints with the lion arms, but they were there in the show, and they serve as a gimmick for the figure, so I’m not that mad. I like his realistic lion mode, and I think he’s a pretty good interpretation of the best character of Japanese Beast Wars in robot mode. I can’t wait to display him fighting God Neptune. (Note to self: source a Takara Selects God Neptune) Tarn: Yes. Need I say more? Overall, the line looks promising so far. I can’t wait for the Ramjet and Dirge refreshes in wave 2, though. That’s gonna be the real shit.
Welcome back too. Sometimes it's nice to just have a little figure you can have on your desk. The Netflix Soundwave isn't very good, but this looks like the best possible use of it. Why would Cryotech make sense in Velocitron? Michigan is 2000 Square miles bigger, it's barely anything. I've heard that theory but there is no guarntee of it yet, just speculation . Needle noes looks like something they've had ready for years and are only releasing it now. I thought they'd be army builders back in 86 but now here they are in legacy. To be fair yea, I just wish there was something that made me want to have him as a figure on it's own, that's what makes the best combiners. I've not seen IDW 2 Hotshot? I'll have to check that out. I liked the IDW 1 version of him. Yeah but they are so ugly and stupid looking, and they were only there in the show because they were also on the toy. No there is nothing more you need to say. Tarn is all.

some things to say so here it goes. Core soundblaster: sure why not shattered glass soundwave: I’m just glad that the Netflix mold isn’t being held hostage by Walmart anymore. Also I do like his colors Breakdown: disappointed in him. Not in the robot mode but his alt mode. Was hoping they remold wildrider Ferrari 308 to look even a little bit like a countach. Ahhhh... this is gonna be such a good line I just know it. Conclusion of motormaster, new Volcanicus, (and a core class at that, literally nobody was expecting that) a Junkion that functions how they probably thought it would when they were making the transformers movie, a Shattered Glass Soundwave, (will totally be picking that up) And sooooo much more! Velocitron speedia was such a downer. They had one good figure and it wasnt available anywhere. Legacy evolution is showing me that they still have passionate workers for hasbro and im so ready for whatever else is in legacy evolution. (core class nickel cough cough.)

I really want them to just have a subline on Junkion with figures with its gimik... and I am probably going to ruin him, but does his face look like a better Impactor? Hotshot NeedleNose and LioConv- I mean LioPrime are cool. Might get them if they turn out good but I am not too pressed. Happy for the people who want them though SG Soundwave is just cool. I feel comfortable saying that Scraphook is what I wanted from Kingdom Waspinator, but in the form of a mad max combination between Ironhide and Tow Mater instead of the green bee boy
The yellowing is caused by them mixing bromine into the PLA, bromine is commonly used as a flame retardant. The yellowing occurs when the bromine in the plastic bonds with oxygen forming bromium dioxide. Unfortunate, but interesting. Just wish my Tigertron wasn't piss yellow.
Apparently there's going to be a remold of scraphook into Strongarm from RID-15 (I don't like the show buts it's a good design) and one of the other junkions will be made into lockdown ( he can now actually swap out his parts with parts from other characters). Scraphook and the other junkions will also be able to swap parts in vehicle mode.
I am sure the Needlenose is one of those figures Hasbro had made and ready for some st lest two years but "couldn't fit him anywhere" in the regular toy lines until now.
He’s that one figure in each TF line which gets the “short end of the stick” so to say, him having his entire jet mode on his back screams Combiner Wars Silverbolt!

I think with prices increasing I have to be more and more I’m prioritizing of what to get. Tarn isn’t coming out until March so I’ll save for him, I’m thinking of finally getting a siege seeker, iffy on dragon megatron but the wings look cool. I guess not a lot I’m thinking of getting rn

Honestly besides 3 figures the hotshot and tarn is what I want they look so good I know hot shots knees suck but it will fit well with startscream coming out or came out? Now if we get a armada Megatron and prime then imma be alright also a comander class energon prime doesn't sound that bad to me right now if they are hearing
The rumoured Commander Optimus is going to be an Armada version, the design matches with it. Also Hot Shot is a good looking figure, Armada Starscream coming with the Starsaber will be a great opportunity to give to Hot Shot the size of it is more accurate.
I like that Soundblaster has the purple chest window instead of the typical red, which to me tells me this opens up the possibility of a re-release of this figure but with the red chest window in a future line.
Couple thoughts. Breakdown: that boomerang means he must head into Australian wilderness and kill a giant boar per the B-movie Razorback. Galaxy Shuttle: love the head sculpt, wish this was Star Dasher instead. Needlenose: adding him to (my version of) the Scavengers. Now if only his boyfriend Horri-Bull could come along. Scraphook: Old Man Ironhide or Old Man Impactor. Take your pick. Hot Shot: skipping, will wait for Dion instead. Lio Convoy: kitty had too much DayQuil chicken. Permanently messed up. Tarn: perfection.
I watched Razorback Last Halloween for the first time. But Needlenose was an Asshole who'd never be a Scavenger? He does look like if Ironhide got sick. Maybe this is his Reanimated corpse. Cat's should stay away from the Chicken... And the Dayquil.

Definitely getting the space shuttle. Because a while back I entered a competition and won. The Transformers selects. Galactic Odyssey Botropolis So this would be a nice display piece to have with them especially if I could get hold of sky links as well
I just thought of something that would have been cool. What if they had made Galaxy Shuttle a Pre tool of Armada Jetfire? Armada Jetfire’s design is already a reference to Galaxy Shuttle, they both only turn into space shuttles, and it would build even more hype for the Armada Optimus Prime, and best of all it allows Hasbro to reuse a very character specific mold.

Leo Convoy in robot mode looks cool, but I think he should be a bigger size class for him to work. That droopy lion face makes me feel like the alt mode was secondary when designed.
Tarn looks amazing I can't wait to get him. I'd honestly be shocked if Hasbro ever does the other DJD members. It's wild he's a voyager and not a leader. I really like Lio Convoy's design but always hated the way the lion legs hang off of his elbows. I much prefer how Perfect Effect did their take on him with his lion legs. There had to have been an easier way to compact those lion legs into the arms so they didn't look like giant growth tumors. I get that it's accurate to the original design and animation but that doesn't mean it always looked great. Even the anime tried to hide that ugly kibble. They also have the best chance to put him in a double-pack repaint with Primal to give us Burning Optimus Primal and Flash Lio Convoy from the Beast Wars 2 movie. I might be interested in getting that if they ever do that. I'd also hope they do Green Flash Lio Convoy as well from Beast Wars Neo. Scraphook looks cool I wasn't really interested in the 86 Junkions but these new ones in Evolution look amazing. Hotshot looks good but those legs look so bad. I'm really worried he can't bend. I'll need to wait and see reviews for him. Galaxy Shuttle is such a cool surprise since it wasn't leaked at all from toy listings or reviewers. I almost might get it. It isn't as accurate to his original design but hey it's a good excuse to reuse the Astrotrain mold.
Oh yeah, I actually Dig the Perfect Effect one. He's a lot cooler than this sill thing, which is both too robot and too Organic. What made you not want the 86 ones?
@@PerspectiveEnd I actually own the Origin Xerxes of that mold and it looks so cool in the Nemesis colors. I'm just surprised that the repaint doesn't have any proper reviews on RUclips. His right arm for where the lion arm is couldn't stay pegged for whatever reason. But putting some tape over the peg managed to thicken the hold. Though I somehow managed to accidentally dissolve some paint off the elbow joint when I tried some liquid to thicken it. Tried to fix that with a gunmetal sharpie. I like Wreckgar but I've never been a fan of his G1 design with the nipple cannons. They just look so dumb and kind of kills the look for me. Junkheap I like more with his design but he never showed up at my store. It also just feels weird getting him who's a nothing character over Wreckgar who has character. Then again what do I know? I ordered Slicer instead of getting Wheeljack just because I like his colors more and didn't like the yellowish-white of Wheeljack. If Hasbro ever does Animated Wreckgar though I'm all in. Though I'd be lying if I didn't say part of me regrets not getting the 86 Wreckgar. Given how much he shelf warmed at my Target.
my opinions 1. soundblaster 7/10: while i perfer a regular scale i like this 2. sg soundwave 7/10: his characterization in sg was like if jazz and blaster merged i love sg soundwave but i have one major problem with him...... he looks like he'll yellow in 12 seconds 3. breakdown 6/10: you see atleast some of the stunticons had a decent part of their design like dragstrip's head colours, wildrider's color scheme motormaster's feet, and dead end in general, but this....... has nothing 4. galaxy jazz i mean galaxy shuttler 8/10: just call it upgrade jazz like if jazz was heavily damaged in transformers the movie and was repaired to to become one of the autobot's transports in season 3 along side broadside and skylynx 5. needle nose 6/10: it dosen't look great............ but since its just a random con i'll let it slide 6. scraphook 10/10: this is like those war veterans that just didin't care if they looked shiney so he has my respect 7. core slug and sludge 2/10: since people are saying this could become a legacy dinoking that is the only thing that could save this the dinoforce all looked somewhat like barbarians so how am i to judge if they repourpose the thick thighs of as leg garments and if you didin't know if any out of placed design becomes a random genericon i'll take it 8. hot shot 9/10: this litterally saves me on which hot shot should i choose for my wreckers since i was always conflicted on which one 9. lio convoy 10/10: i am a weeb so you can tell what i feel and atleast the lion mode is better than well (looks at the masterpiece) and hey who knows we might get dark amber lio convoy (look it up) 10: tarn 12/10: its the mmc but more for mainline thats all i'm gonna say
Man I don't spy a 5 out of 10 or lower in there. Must be a great wave. And yes Tarn is a 12. I mostly agree with this, except for Hotshot, who's close to perfection but his one flaw is so big, at best he's gotta be a 7, and then I just like none of what I see with Lio Convoy.
As someone who is in the UK and a father who only remembers the g1 continuity I can say slag being slug is something we don't care about but my father does always look scared for his dear life when he says slag
Hot Shot has those fuckin Animated Deluxe Bumblebee back legs and I think that is SINFUL, because at least on that old ass deluxe the kibble was cut in such a way that didn't fuck with the knee bend. Seems like Hot Shot here is not given that same "priviledge"
The Shattered Glass Soundwave colors look cool and all, but that green sweatband makes him look like a dad that has finally started jogging to work off the holiday season fat he gained months ago.
I am SO GLAD someone else pointed out those lower legs on Hot Shot. I love this thing, and I can't wait for it, but holy _hell_ who at Hasbro decided they needed to work like that? They could have been made to transform a lot more simply and probably would have come out of it looking better as a result.

Slag and Sludge - These two look so dumb and I love them, might get the full set for Volcanicus. Breakdown - Looks fine I guess. Alt mode's looking great! Hot Shot - Wow, what a cool looking figure! *Proceeds to not buy it* Needlenose - About time we get this guy! Kind of a shame we never got the Siegescream retool we could've gotten in Siege, but this is fine. Scraphook - This is looking REALLY good. Gonna pick this up and the rest of the Junkions if they're this good. Dad gum! Lio Convoy Wow, they're actually doing this design! *Proceeds to make fun of the goofy lion head, and not buy it* Tarn - VERY surprised this wasn't a leader, Hasbro. Gonna get the potential micro-masterpiece for sure. VELOCITRON WAVE 2 Shadowstrip - I never thought Legacy Dragstrip would look so good in black and gold, if it's there one day, i'll try and get it. Crasher - I absolutely don't care about GoBots at all, but at least the Mirage mold's back again. Hot Rod - Another chance to get the SS86 Hot Rod mold, sweet! Looks good in the toy colors too. Galaxy Shuttle - Wow, they're actually doing another Victory chracter! *Proceeds to not buy it due to it being too expensive* SHATTERED GLASS Soundwave - I still don't care at all about Shattered Glass, but i'll make an exception for Ravage. I think Tarn is probably going to be a Micro Masterpiece yes. I too will make fun of the Goofy Lion head, and every other aspect of it. Scrap hook does look awesome. Yeah the Siege Neeldenose would have been cooler. Hotshot looks great except for the legs. Slag and Sludge do just look like dumb fun.
Core Dinobots are pretools for Dinoking/Monstructor. I remember everyone complaining about Universe Armada Hotshot, but it's better than this fig, and it even included Jolt his minicon. Leo Convoys lion head looks like chewed bubblegum. Reminds me of Botcon combiner wars Ravage/Tigertron. Needlenose feels very rushed or low prioritized.
That is just a Theory espoused by 1 guy, who may or may not be onto something. Best not to treat it as fact yet. I don't think Needlenose feels Rushed. I think he feels like a Figure they've been sitting on for a LONG time that's outdated. Probably why they kept putting him in the fan Votes he kept losing, they had the figure waiting and were looking for an excuse to use it.
Tarn looks great. The junkion guy I'm intested to see more. Everything else I can't be arsed with. Leo Convoy in particular looks like a travesty, especially considering how good he can look when done right.
The core class Dino bots being able to combine is a cool idea, it is not the first they did legends scale combiner. With Grimlock not being the core makes the rumors and speculations that these dino bots are gonna be a pre-tool for a Japanese combiner.

I get it that you want optimus to always be a flat nosed semi truck, it's your childhood, what you grew up with, and he's more reconizable as a flat nosed, but some people also grew up with a long nosed, and in some areas in the US, long noses are common, heck I often see peter builts, the alt mode optimus turned in the movie trilogy, not everything has to be the same for 40 frickin years, anyways, hot shot looks good, just gotta move the clear plastic kibble, tarn looks amazing, I like lio convoy, don't mind the kibble, glad we are getting more cores, nice space jazz, and considerring we get scraphook, here's a unique idea, legacy EVOfusion jetfire, not armada, movie jetfire, sure we got SS, but movie jetfire was basically a partsformer when combining with prime, more than armada jetfire, and he'll be able to combine with the legacy laser prime since that's somewhat the closest to movie prime, a redeco into that movie prime wouldn't be that far off, you may not like it but I think it's a cool idea
Superman has looked almost the exact same for nearly a Hundred years. I understand that other people grew up with long nosed versions of him. But they also grew up with the Flat Faced version of him. And look I just hate long nosed trucks in general. I think they are ugly. I think the Flat faced always looks better. So when you say Evofusion, you mean like the both flip in half and attach waist to waist?

Something people are misunderstanding about Needlenose, he’s clearly based on the F-16XL, which actually has larger wings that just sit more flesh with the rest of the plane. I mean, just look up an image of the F-16XL and look at his alt mode. His wings really aren’t as bad as people are saying when you look at it like that

I'll go in reveal order: Slag: Not too bad. I'm not sure how I feel about the tail gun though. Sludge: Yikes. If the rest of the team looks like this, they'll be staying in combined mode for sure. Soundblaster: Great mold, but I'm not too sure about it. Breakdown: I would be disappointed, but after they revealed Dead End, I was kind of expecting this. Scraphook: Objectively, this is probably the best deluxe of the wave. Hot Shot: From the waist up, he looks great. From the waist down, we have problems. Needlenose: Can we at least agree that this looks a ton better than Pointblank? Leo Prime: Looks good for his weird ass design. Tarn: HELL yes! Also, am I the only one who thinks that Idris Elba would be a good casting choice for him? Soundwave: Overpriced, even for Shattered Glass. Also, Hasbro reportedly fixed the yellowing problem, so after wave 2 of Legacy, it shouldn't be an issue. Galaxy Shuttle: Would not be interested at all if this wasn't another shot at getting the Astrotrain mold.
The 86 one has the Gun Tail Too. Yeah Sludge looks like he's in pain. Yeah, I don't think I need another one in black. But Dead End was a least a heavy retool. I'd tend to agree, and it's probably going to be the best Weaponizer. It does look better than Pointblank. If the legs were a little longer I could agree. That would work, I know the creator wanted Keith David, who I'd be down for too, but Most of all I want Phantom Limb. Is it, I haven't seen the price?

Getting Menasor the velostitron 500 dragstrip repaint will get. We are also getting a leader class combiner with the core Dino bots as the parts. Hopefully the combine mode is worth it but not counting on it since the first 2 are not the best core.

All of the new Legacy reveals have been super exciting. One thing I'm hopeful to see based off the promo art is the Armada Prime that had a prototype shown a few years ago. And since Legacy is offering more Beast Wars characters maybe they'll offer up some Fuzors or Transmetals.

The voyagers are easily the highlight for this wave for me, as a huge fan of both Lio Convoy and Tarn is practically a dream come true to have them in the year’s opening wave

Legacy’s just generally made the voyagers the most solid and coolest figures in the line period. Tarn looks like a nearly flawless leader class with hardly any hollowness and Leo Prime looks better than the masterpiece, overall Hasbro are doing a great job on the voyager front.

Honestly, figures of Lio Convoy look good when shoulders are actually on shoulders, as that head is more original for kibble usage and at least fromt paws has blades extending from underside so they work as some form of claw weapons

The Legacy Evolution reveals are awesome. Along with other reveals from Shattered Glass and Velocitron.
-Core Class Soundblaster looks cool. Half of me thought that he would have the Mercenary badge, or the Decepticon badge. Either way, he looks cool. Like for the tape deck chest is purple and that he'll come with a yellow Buzzsaw cassette tape. I hope this will lead to a voyager class cassette player Soundblaster down the line.
-Shattered Glass Sir Soundwave looks awesome. Hasbro has done a great job with the white and blue repaint and remolded head, so Soundwave has his green bandana. Like the Siege Laserbeak and Ravage repaint as well.
-Stunticon Breakdown is cool. I don't mind that he's a reuse of the Wild Rider mold. But the gun and spoiler to be a weapon, I don't praise it, it's both lazy and suck. I would rather have the spoiler be part of his legs and spilt when he transforms. And for him to have two guns, like the other car Stunticons. And cool that his packaging is still Legacy and not Evolution.
-Velocitron Speedia 500 wave 2, Galaxy Shuttle. The name isn't that creative if I'm being honest. Sounds more of what he is, than his actual name. But I like how Galaxy Shuttle looks. And it's cool that the Victory Universe is getting some representation. I do hope that we get a G1 toy color Astrotrain from the Siege/Earthrise mold somewhere in the Legacy line.
-Targetmaster Needlenose. He loses two fan votes back in the War for Cybertron trilogy in Siege and Earthrise, so I'm stoke that he's finally getting a new figure. But I do like your idea, of how the wing backpack should have open up so the nose cone could fold into his torso. To have a better transformation and look better. And he comes with his little Targetmasters, Sunbeam and Zigzag, cool.
-Junkion Scraphook is awesome. First off, his design looks great. Secondly, he's a weaponizer that doesn't partsform to transform. Love that. Wish that something back in the WFC Trilogy.
-Core Class Sludge and Slag. First off, I agree with your rant about Slag's name. Secondly, it's a pass for me. As I already have the Volcanicus combiner. But I like what Hasbro is doing with the core class Dinobots. Having six members to make Volcanicus. As the theory goes, this will be remolded as the Dinoforce combiner Dinoking, from the Japanese side of Transformers.
-Armada Universe Hot Shot is cool. I remember growing watching Armada. Hot Shot was my Bumblebee. And Legacy Evolution as done an awesome job with him. But I do agree with his back legs, wish it was done another way. As it looks like the windshields prevent leg bend. I do wish he came with his minicon helicopter partner Jolt though.
-Beast Wars ll Leo Prime. Honestly don't have much to say. His robot mode looks cool, and it said that his chest can open up to have an energon matrix. Will get this anyways to go along with Maximal Skywarp and Grimlock to face God Neptune.
-IDW Universe Tarn is awesome. From Decepticon mask to toes, Tarn looks like he was pull straight out of the IDW comics. Sure his mask doesn't come off, but it's fine with me. Tank mode looks great, I do wish he was a leader class instead of voyager, as he looks like he should be taller. A must have in my book.
Breakdown just doesn't have the right altmode, and yeah the Spoiler is super lazy, like how did they not just make that part of his transformation naturally.

I’m extremely excited for Hot Shot, Lio Convoy, and Tarn. Tarn is just epic, not much else to say about him. Hot Shot is a character I quite liked in Armada, and this might be his first decent figure, so that’s cool. And Lio Convoy, for some reason, is one of my favorite transformer designs ever. Don’t know why, but he is. His figure looks really solid, other than the hilariously bad lion face.

I'm excited for everything in this first wave, especially lio convoy and galaxy shuttle because I love the Japanese side of transformers. I'm loving the armada love coming this year with hot shot and the armada prime in the poster too. Also the designer for the core dinobots, Evan Brooks, hinted at a possible reuse of the team, and with all the victory love going around due to the release of victory saber soon, most people believe that the dinobots will be used as pretools for the dinoking team. I adore that combiner team so much so I'm very excited to get that when they comes out.
Only JP Transformers so far I seen is BW 2 & Neo + the sub of Armada.
Yeah that is a rumor the TF Podcast is real happy to espouse right now. It makes some sense, but I don't think it can be taken as a given at this point.
Although disappointed in Breakdown I am not surprised that one of the Stunticons is recolor with some remolding. It makes me wonder with Breakdown and Wildrider being recolors is something that Hasbro will say something like " We did it that way to make a shortcut to te allocate design money for Moter Master" and the people praising the weapon is in denial since they most likely pre-order him before his revealed.
I wouldn't be surprised if they did pull that yes. They still could have done a better job.
It’s not really an excuse for Hasbro to not do cartoon accuracy because of cost concerns, they’ve done it in the past with figures and some get treated well when some don’t. Overall they could’ve just went the extra mile and made him a Lambo.

As someone who has professed Breakdown to be their favorite Stunticon, I feel like he got a bit shafted for my liking. I'm still gonna pick it up, but the fact that he isn't the same alt mode as Sideswipe bugs me. Tarn and Scraphook look great, and I'm also really interested in the Needlenose for some reason, despite not even knowing who the character is outside of the VS pack that never happened.
Yeah, absolutely, Like Wildrider sucks bad enough, but now it doesn't even get the right altmode.

That's very interesting, because I never really think of these as videos people would care to see twice. I Kind of view them as Magazines, periodicals that don't have much value after a month since time has moved on.
I hope that if they have that Mad Max looking Junkion muscle car from the poster be an actual figure, that they have a repaint of it as an animated-esc Lockdown. It would still work with the Junkion theme since Lockdown was known for swapping out his body parts. If it’s a generation selects or something they could even include additional arm and leg parts to make the robot mode more reminiscent of the animated design while still having all the symmetrical parts for the alt-mode. That shit would sell like hot cakes
Edit: I only might pick up the dinobot combiner if they do them as the dinoforce or whatever that pretender combiner team was called.

This was the first Transformers wave in a long time when I love EVERY SINGLE ONE of the new reveals. I look forward to owning all of these figures. Especially Needlenose, Scraphook, Hot Shot, and Tarn.

Soundblaster didn’t originate from WFC, he first appeared in The Headmasters, making his English debut in Cyberverse.
I know where he Originated, but he was Stupid in the Head Masters.
Being a Separate somewhat crazy character with an Inferiority complex, made him way more interesting.

I'm from Ireland. We do share a lot of slang talk with the UK, though I'm sure any irritations perceived between the 2 countries is more like banter between friendly neighbours.
I prefer Slag's original name since it was chosen with some meaning when the designers had to name a brutish metal dinosaur robot who was a member of a gang of brutish metal dinosaur robot misfits.
I wonder if we'll ever get core class Constructicons that combine into Devastator; in a similar fashion to the upcoming Dinobots. Devastator seems quite under-represented despite being such an iconic character.
I mean the Original G1 Constructicons were about Core Class Scale.

Yeah, it's a really cool concept.
1. Soundblaster: He does not have the Mercenary badge because they are trying to be accurate to the Headmasters anime. Thats why his chest is purple not red, unlike his 2 Siege figures
2. Brakedown: The worst part of him is that he is designed not to partsform. There is a port on both legs. All you have to do is take a utility knife and cut it in half. The same thing happened with SS86 Ironhide. The hipskirt is designed to seprate but doesnt. I can send you a tutorial if you want.
3. Galaxy Shuttle. Hello there VicspectiveEnd. There will be a fun fact about him later in the comment. Itll make sense soon
4. Needlenlse: Yes, his transformation is mostly likely simple due to including both targetmasters. Wave distribution and all that too. If you want more info I can link that to you.
5. Scraphook: His vehicle mode can also split in half to combine with other Junkions in legacy to make crazy Mad Max vehicles
6. That England rant is comedy gold. Good to have ranty Perspective back. It felt like he went away but heres a classic to bring him back
7. Volcanicus: You know what time it is. Transformers Lore with Ashla! Go! Volcanicus is now a 6 man team. Who is the 6th dinobot you might ask? IDW Skar. What other combiner is made out of 6 dinosaurs? Victory Dinoking. His chest is made out of the triceratops and (insert sludge dino here). The sixth member turns into (spiky dino name here). Skars beast mode was never shown. These are just Dinoking pretools. Legacy Dinoking would be perfectly on scale with Galxaxy Shuttle. (Told ya it'd come back.) My man Galaxy Shuttle was combiner sized. Also, Hasbro has hinted at retooling the dinobots into dinoking in at least 1 interview.
8. Hot Shot: fun fact. Each legacy Unicron Trilogy figure has gotten a new mould
9. Lio Convoy: One of my favorite Beast Wars charachters. Right up there next to Blackarachnia and Airazor. (Top 3 BW charachters)
10. Brakedown 2: He was supposed to be part of Legacy Wave 4 along with ER Wheeljack, Kingdom Cheetor, and Legacy Twincast. Twincast has been moved back to Legacy Wave 3 (I think, dont quote me on that). Cheetor and Wheeljack are rumored to still be coming out but nothing concrete.

Breakdown might as well be renamed Letdown. He's not just a retool of Wildrider, he's barely a retool. 2/3 of the car are the same, and it actually makes it look weird because it throws the proportions off. At the least I could've gotten by with some details on the side windows and a change to the headlights. I don't need a completely different figure to be happy, but a photo negative just ain't cutting it
Yeah, he's not a Lambo any more. People were having a Fit wanting Wildrider to have the right altmode, and now Breakdown doesn't get his.
Breakdown’s now officially the most disappointing Stunticon of Legacy, the other four are definitely much better in design than he is despite him and Wildrider sharing a mould. I’ve got to say though that even though he’s not a Lamborghini I still dig his robot mode, even when I’ve just criticised it. He’s still a clear pick up me still.
I'm really looking forward to evolution. Me and my friend are already speculating who we're gonna get next. Maybe more characters from Transformers Cybertron, or a commander class Lugnut? They'd both fit the whole evolution shtick pretty well, with the cyber key gimmick and lugnut's insane arsenal of weapons

Anyways, here’s my thoughts:
Soundblaster: I gave the Core Soundwave to a friend last year for her birthday, and she really enjoyed it. So going off of her account and yours, it’s a good figure. But I don’t really know. I collect in Deluxe/Voyager scale and don’t really collect Cores unless they fit that scale, like Rattrap or the Pretenders. Cool how he’s based on the Headmasters anime, but I’m sticking with my Voyager Mercenary SB.
(I wish he was in the Netflix show more. He was so cool.)
And speaking of Voyagers,
Shattered Glass Soundwave: I need this. It looks awesome, and it gives me a chance to experience the Netflix Soundwave mold for the first time. It’s a win-win.
Jazztrotrain: I had money on this either being Cryotek or a Quintesson Overcharge. Or I wish I did.

Anyways, this guy is a nothing character to me, and I’m not really interested in him. Nor am I interested in the rest of Velocitron wave 2. I have a Hot Rod and Drag Strip already, and Crasher is another nothing character I don’t know that well. So, thanks, but no thanks.
Slag and Sludge: I had no idea that Michigan was the size of the whole UK. I should learn more about my own home state at some time.
Anyways, the reason Slag and Sludge are the torso for the combined mode is because they’re making a Victory Dinoking from these molds, which I suspect they’re gonna be making into a Monstructor afterwards. Which is cool, but I don’t know. Monstructor was huge in the IDW1 comics, towering over the Scramble City Combiners and reaching Devastator and Omega’s heights. So, cool idea, but not the Monstructor I’d want personally.
Needlenose: I know how bad this looks, but I still feel vindicated. Needlenose lost two consecutive fan votes, and everyone in those got made or is getting made soon. So getting a Needlenose after all this time feels cathartic to me.
Although yeah, those Targetmasters are pretty terrible.
Scraphook: I’m never suspected the Junkions to be the next army-builder, but I’m not complaining. I’d probably display him in alt mode if I got him. The Mad Max aesthetic is too cool.
Breakdown: He’s aight. I get why people are mad that he’s a retool, but I’m just gonna use him as a leg anyways, so I’m not that mad about it personally. But the spoiler axe is kinda dumb, I won’t lie to you there.
Hot Shot: I may pass on this. I like the design of Armada Hot Shot, but I kinda like the IDW2 version more. Plus, I haven’t really seen enough of Armada to have affinity for the character. I could say the same for Armada Starscream, but Screamer did look like that in Dark Cybertron and the Windblade series, so it’s got that going (although Hot Shot was in the Windblade series now that I think about it). I’m considering picking up the Siege one instead.
Leo Prime: I get your complaints with the lion arms, but they were there in the show, and they serve as a gimmick for the figure, so I’m not that mad. I like his realistic lion mode, and I think he’s a pretty good interpretation of the best character of Japanese Beast Wars in robot mode. I can’t wait to display him fighting God Neptune.

Tarn: Yes. Need I say more?
Overall, the line looks promising so far. I can’t wait for the Ramjet and Dirge refreshes in wave 2, though. That’s gonna be the real shit.

I thought the g2 stunticons would be a selects release like with the previous g2 repaints). As for toy colored hot rod: no. Was hoping they would do what they did with blurr and retool him into idw rodimus in some way, but instead colors that aren’t as appealing as his ss86 version

Conclusion of motormaster, new Volcanicus, (and a core class at that, literally nobody was expecting that) a Junkion that functions how they probably thought it would when they were making the transformers movie, a Shattered Glass Soundwave, (will totally be picking that up) And sooooo much more!
Velocitron speedia was such a downer. They had one good figure and it wasnt available anywhere. Legacy evolution is showing me that they still have passionate workers for hasbro and im so ready for whatever else is in legacy evolution. (core class nickel cough cough.)

The yellowing is caused by them mixing bromine into the PLA, bromine is commonly used as a flame retardant. The yellowing occurs when the bromine in the plastic bonds with oxygen forming bromium dioxide. Unfortunate, but interesting. Just wish my Tigertron wasn't piss yellow.

Apparently there's going to be a remold of scraphook into Strongarm from RID-15 (I don't like the show buts it's a good design) and one of the other junkions will be made into lockdown ( he can now actually swap out his parts with parts from other characters). Scraphook and the other junkions will also be able to swap parts in vehicle mode.
Someone else mentioned a rumor like that. Where did you hear it?

Honestly besides 3 figures the hotshot and tarn is what I want they look so good I know hot shots knees suck but it will fit well with startscream coming out or came out? Now if we get a armada Megatron and prime then imma be alright also a comander class energon prime doesn't sound that bad to me right now if they are hearing
I would not be surprised to see Armada Megatron some time later in this line.
The rumoured Commander Optimus is going to be an Armada version, the design matches with it. Also Hot Shot is a good looking figure, Armada Starscream coming with the Starsaber will be a great opportunity to give to Hot Shot the size of it is more accurate.
I like that Soundblaster has the purple chest window instead of the typical red, which to me tells me this opens up the possibility of a re-release of this figure but with the red chest window in a future line.
That seems like such a Minor Variation, I don't see them spending the time.

What if they had made Galaxy Shuttle a Pre tool of Armada Jetfire?
Armada Jetfire’s design is already a reference to Galaxy Shuttle, they both only turn into space shuttles, and it would build even more hype for the Armada Optimus Prime, and best of all it allows Hasbro to reuse a very character specific mold.
I mean what about it makes it a Pretool of Jetfire? The Astrotrain mold is exactly as Applicable to that character as it ever was?

Leo Convoy in robot mode looks cool, but I think he should be a bigger size class for him to work. That droopy lion face makes me feel like the alt mode was secondary when designed.
I don't think he needs a higher size class, I don't think there's any way it could ever be good.
Tarn looks amazing I can't wait to get him. I'd honestly be shocked if Hasbro ever does the other DJD members. It's wild he's a voyager and not a leader.
I really like Lio Convoy's design but always hated the way the lion legs hang off of his elbows. I much prefer how Perfect Effect did their take on him with his lion legs. There had to have been an easier way to compact those lion legs into the arms so they didn't look like giant growth tumors. I get that it's accurate to the original design and animation but that doesn't mean it always looked great. Even the anime tried to hide that ugly kibble.
They also have the best chance to put him in a double-pack repaint with Primal to give us Burning Optimus Primal and Flash Lio Convoy from the Beast Wars 2 movie. I might be interested in getting that if they ever do that. I'd also hope they do Green Flash Lio Convoy as well from Beast Wars Neo.
Scraphook looks cool I wasn't really interested in the 86 Junkions but these new ones in Evolution look amazing. Hotshot looks good but those legs look so bad. I'm really worried he can't bend. I'll need to wait and see reviews for him. Galaxy Shuttle is such a cool surprise since it wasn't leaked at all from toy listings or reviewers. I almost might get it. It isn't as accurate to his original design but hey it's a good excuse to reuse the Astrotrain mold.
Oh yeah, I actually Dig the Perfect Effect one. He's a lot cooler than this sill thing, which is both too robot and too Organic.

@@PerspectiveEnd I actually own the Origin Xerxes of that mold and it looks so cool in the Nemesis colors. I'm just surprised that the repaint doesn't have any proper reviews on RUclips. His right arm for where the lion arm is couldn't stay pegged for whatever reason. But putting some tape over the peg managed to thicken the hold. Though I somehow managed to accidentally dissolve some paint off the elbow joint when I tried some liquid to thicken it. Tried to fix that with a gunmetal sharpie.
I like Wreckgar but I've never been a fan of his G1 design with the nipple cannons. They just look so dumb and kind of kills the look for me. Junkheap I like more with his design but he never showed up at my store. It also just feels weird getting him who's a nothing character over Wreckgar who has character. Then again what do I know? I ordered Slicer instead of getting Wheeljack just because I like his colors more and didn't like the yellowish-white of Wheeljack.
If Hasbro ever does Animated Wreckgar though I'm all in. Though I'd be lying if I didn't say part of me regrets not getting the 86 Wreckgar. Given how much he shelf warmed at my Target.
my opinions
1. soundblaster 7/10: while i perfer a regular scale i like this
2. sg soundwave 7/10: his characterization in sg was like if jazz and blaster merged i love sg soundwave but i have one major problem with him...... he looks like he'll yellow in 12 seconds
3. breakdown 6/10: you see atleast some of the stunticons had a decent part of their design like dragstrip's head colours, wildrider's color scheme motormaster's feet, and dead end in general, but this....... has nothing
4. galaxy jazz i mean galaxy shuttler 8/10: just call it upgrade jazz like if jazz was heavily damaged in transformers the movie and was repaired to to become one of the autobot's transports in season 3 along side broadside and skylynx
5. needle nose 6/10: it dosen't look great............ but since its just a random con i'll let it slide
6. scraphook 10/10: this is like those war veterans that just didin't care if they looked shiney so he has my respect
7. core slug and sludge 2/10: since people are saying this could become a legacy dinoking that is the only thing that could save this the dinoforce all looked somewhat like barbarians so how am i to judge if they repourpose the thick thighs of as leg garments and if you didin't know if any out of placed design becomes a random genericon i'll take it
8. hot shot 9/10: this litterally saves me on which hot shot should i choose for my wreckers since i was always conflicted on which one
9. lio convoy 10/10: i am a weeb so you can tell what i feel and atleast the lion mode is better than well (looks at the masterpiece) and hey who knows we might get dark amber lio convoy (look it up)
10: tarn 12/10: its the mmc but more for mainline thats all i'm gonna say

I mostly agree with this, except for Hotshot, who's close to perfection but his one flaw is so big, at best he's gotta be a 7, and then I just like none of what I see with Lio Convoy.

As someone who is in the UK and a father who only remembers the g1 continuity I can say slag being slug is something we don't care about but my father does always look scared for his dear life when he says slag

Hot Shot has those fuckin Animated Deluxe Bumblebee back legs and I think that is SINFUL, because at least on that old ass deluxe the kibble was cut in such a way that didn't fuck with the knee bend. Seems like Hot Shot here is not given that same "priviledge"
I don't understand why they didn't just have the shin rotate so the MASSIVE gaps are on the back.
The Shattered Glass Soundwave colors look cool and all, but that green sweatband makes him look like a dad that has finally started jogging to work off the holiday season fat he gained months ago.

I am SO GLAD someone else pointed out those lower legs on Hot Shot. I love this thing, and I can't wait for it, but holy _hell_ who at Hasbro decided they needed to work like that? They could have been made to transform a lot more simply and probably would have come out of it looking better as a result.

Shadowstrip - I never thought Legacy Dragstrip would look so good in black and gold, if it's there one day, i'll try and get it.
Crasher - I absolutely don't care about GoBots at all, but at least the Mirage mold's back again.
Hot Rod - Another chance to get the SS86 Hot Rod mold, sweet! Looks good in the toy colors too.
Galaxy Shuttle - Wow, they're actually doing another Victory chracter! *Proceeds to not buy it due to it being too expensive*
SHATTERED GLASS
Soundwave - I still don't care at all about Shattered Glass, but i'll make an exception for Ravage. Too bad he comes with stuff I don't care about.
I think Tarn is probably going to be a Micro Masterpiece yes.
I too will make fun of the Goofy Lion head, and every other aspect of it.
Scrap hook does look awesome.
Yeah the Siege Neeldenose would have been cooler.

Leo Convoys lion head looks like chewed bubblegum. Reminds me of Botcon combiner wars Ravage/Tigertron.
Needlenose feels very rushed or low prioritized.
That is just a Theory espoused by 1 guy, who may or may not be onto something. Best not to treat it as fact yet.
I don't think Needlenose feels Rushed. I think he feels like a Figure they've been sitting on for a LONG time that's outdated. Probably why they kept putting him in the fan Votes he kept losing, they had the figure waiting and were looking for an excuse to use it.

Tarn looks great. The junkion guy I'm intested to see more. Everything else I can't be arsed with. Leo Convoy in particular looks like a travesty, especially considering how good he can look when done right.
I think there's some other stuff to get excited for, but I do get it.
The core class Dino bots being able to combine is a cool idea, it is not the first they did legends scale combiner. With Grimlock not being the core makes the rumors and speculations that these dino bots are gonna be a pre-tool for a Japanese combiner.
That is the most compelling evidence, for it, but I don't know if we should believe it just yet.

I get it that you want optimus to always be a flat nosed semi truck, it's your childhood, what you grew up with, and he's more reconizable as a flat nosed, but some people also grew up with a long nosed, and in some areas in the US, long noses are common, heck I often see peter builts, the alt mode optimus turned in the movie trilogy, not everything has to be the same for 40 frickin years, anyways, hot shot looks good, just gotta move the clear plastic kibble, tarn looks amazing, I like lio convoy, don't mind the kibble, glad we are getting more cores, nice space jazz, and considerring we get scraphook, here's a unique idea, legacy EVOfusion jetfire, not armada, movie jetfire, sure we got SS, but movie jetfire was basically a partsformer when combining with prime, more than armada jetfire, and he'll be able to combine with the legacy laser prime since that's somewhat the closest to movie prime, a redeco into that movie prime wouldn't be that far off, you may not like it but I think it's a cool idea
Superman has looked almost the exact same for nearly a Hundred years. I understand that other people grew up with long nosed versions of him. But they also grew up with the Flat Faced version of him.
And look I just hate long nosed trucks in general. I think they are ugly. I think the Flat faced always looks better.

Something people are misunderstanding about Needlenose, he’s clearly based on the F-16XL, which actually has larger wings that just sit more flesh with the rest of the plane. I mean, just look up an image of the F-16XL and look at his alt mode. His wings really aren’t as bad as people are saying when you look at it like that
Problem is they are sitting on a bed of kibble which destroys their aerodynamic nature.
Let’s not forget that evolution is doing even more crazy things thanks to the leaked listing like Armada Megatron RID 2015 Strongarm Cyberverse Shadowstricker and even animated universe stuff we transformers fans are eating good 🎉🎉🎉😊

Slag: Not too bad. I'm not sure how I feel about the tail gun though.
Sludge: Yikes. If the rest of the team looks like this, they'll be staying in combined mode for sure.
Soundblaster: Great mold, but I'm not too sure about it.
Breakdown: I would be disappointed, but after they revealed Dead End, I was kind of expecting this.
Scraphook: Objectively, this is probably the best deluxe of the wave.
Hot Shot: From the waist up, he looks great. From the waist down, we have problems.
Needlenose: Can we at least agree that this looks a ton better than Pointblank?
Leo Prime: Looks good for his weird ass design.
Tarn: HELL yes! Also, am I the only one who thinks that Idris Elba would be a good casting choice for him?
Soundwave: Overpriced, even for Shattered Glass. Also, Hasbro reportedly fixed the yellowing problem, so after wave 2 of Legacy, it shouldn't be an issue.
Galaxy Shuttle: Would not be interested at all if this wasn't another shot at getting the Astrotrain mold.

Getting Menasor the velostitron 500 dragstrip repaint will get. We are also getting a leader class combiner with the core Dino bots as the parts. Hopefully the combine mode is worth it but not counting on it since the first 2 are not the best core.
Is that the size they will be all combined up? Leader Class?
