    I have to say the production value of this video is outstanding... As usual Rob offeres an educated well thought out and interesting approach to shoulder training.. The video itself is proffessionally shot, well edited.. You can here Rob clearly discuss the workout without any amateur random background noise that is almost epidemic on most "straight to youtube video" We need more people like Rob being embassidors for the sport of body building and not so much the distended stomach and unhealthy look of many of the "top" athletes that have today...

    Form is everything, I agree, but do you go for the burn each and every set? Best shape of my life was when I did that. Super heavy weights just doesn't have the same burn.

  • @Willo800
    @Willo800 9 лет назад +1

    firstly... has anyone ever told you that you look like a young version of Gordon Ramsey. and good vid. love the emphasis on warming up those shoulders before hitting heavy weights. would have to be one of the most important areas to warm up before workout.

    Hey Rob .. 1st of all thanks for all your videos and the knowledge.. My question is a bit long, I have an Upper body/Lower body/Rest/Upper/Lower which means I train the same muscle twice a week but the volume is smaller, I have been doing that for 3 weeks now and I feel good about it .. I do 2 exercise s for 3 sets each for shoulders on my Upper body day.. Is that supposed to be enough?

    I really liked it.. one question thoug.. I injured my shoulders years ago.. and when doing front raises I feel a lot of pain in them.. if you had to, what would you substitue this exercise with? arnold/military press? or something else that would really separate front delt?
    thank you Rob! Your are my inspiration and 'motivation' for over 2 yars now! Keep it up!

      @chriswalt5 10 лет назад +3

      burlhorse89 rafman1010 FitnessFAQs MrFinny95 its just called the Deltoid. There are different sets of fibers to it: Anterior Deltoid(front delts), Lateral Deltoid(middle, outer, side delts), and Posterior Deltoid(rear delts). The lateral deltoid is often referred to as the medial deltoid, which is wrong since the origin is the least medial portion of the deltoid. Pars Acromialis just means highest fiber in greek. Any questions?

  • @NoamLevys
    @NoamLevys 9 лет назад +2

    Well.. I'm a personal trainer and all I can say about this workout that is not really good for those who want to build %100 muscle hypertrophy for some reasons:
    1. the movements are absolutely not in full range of motion because he tried to use heavy weight and get the force lever short.. well everybody can lift more weight but the motion will be a half way.
    2. he's back - omg Rob, keep your back! a lot of the exercises using back stabilizers which is not bad when you do it right and for beginners, try to avoid that for the first time.
    And guys.. plz don't try to use heavy weight even you can lift it but in the wrong way.
    the weight will come believe me. try to push yourself easily with the weight and make a good movements and of course full range of motion.
    This is only an advice.
