Excellent, to the point, instructional information! Thinking about one of these beasts. Seem very unreliable overall added to the pricey maintenance. I read up on fuel in US due to the constant problems with exhaust. Seems many problems with the Cat systems come (IMHO) from low cetane rating (40 to 45) of generally all diesel fuel. Add a conditioner, boost the cetane up, burns hotter, less particulates overall, engine combusts more efficiently everyone much happier. But another expense to keep the air clean & your truck running. Recommended oil change 7 to 10k. Again even the synthetics have tough time going that long without degradation. I think I personally would waste the money and go 5k at the most. Not practical for over the road but seems city driving harder on these babies as they are not being worked. Anyway thanks for the great video my friend. Your good, keep'em coming.

Wasn't always the case. Back during the Obama administration, we had this thing called "cash for clunkers" which was a complete failure. Its the fuel pumps. I have a 17 6.2 f350. Its very common in these gas trucks. ford won't do anything because the fuel pump isn't actually failing its just losing pressure the majority of the time. and because of that it puts more wear on your starter since there is no fuel until the pump builds up pressure again. now my starter has problems... my 2001 GMC 6.0 gas with 260k has started better its entire life while my ford might not start until the second or 3rd try....

Lmao, you realize that these Fords also do not have any issues at first. Give your Ram 30,000 to 50,000 miles and then come back on here. My dad had two Rams before he figured out why they sell them so cheap. BOTH trucks stranded him more than once. I've been driving Fords for 25 years and have had mostly great trucks in that time. I just bought a 2019 f250 crew cab long bed with the 6.2 because the 6.2 has been around long enough to get the bugs out I hope. I don't tow daily and my needs are to haul 3 atvs and camping gear. I wont tow over 9000lbs when im working my truck. I hope I don't have too many issues with this engine. Thank you for posting this video. Do you have any most common repairs for fords 6.2 gas?
I saw ptt with arod swap a valve spring on a 6.2. He might be able to better answer your question.
Hello I have that exact truck , turbo went out @ 104000 miles and now I’m having the same issues oil coming out of my exhaust @107000 miles what could be causing this ?
+Brenton Hatcher We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Do you know what they say about Ford fix or repair daily found on Road dead. My new ram 3500 has not had one warranty issue nothing change the oil fuel in it and drive it
Lmao, you realize that these Fords also do not have any issues at first. Give your Ram 30,000 to 50,000 miles and then come back on here. My dad had two Rams before he figured out why they sell them so cheap. BOTH trucks stranded him more than once. I've been driving Fords for 25 years and have had mostly great trucks in that time. I'll go with Ford over all the other truck brands. Then again, I have a ton of experience with trucks and know better.
Dad has a 2500 ram and it’s had 10 recalls in two years.
This should be a ad for Ford 😂
I have a question, what is the difference between 4x4 and Fx4 on F 250
FX4 is an off road package. Skid plates, different shocks, other "junk" depending on year and model.
Upper oil pan.

Geez, not even close to what I was looking to fix. RUclips is losing it.
Man that more problems than the Cummins engine'
My 2019 6.7 w/64K miles has never had an issue. Zero. If you want to search the internet to find a problem with your truck you will.
I have a 550 and the clutch fan runs all the time and really loud is that normal

Great video! Any advice on a 2018 f350 passenger mirror that only adjusts in small increments, or not at all? Thanks in advance for your insight!

Replacement
I had that problem and it was just that the glass had become unseated. Pressure to the middle of the mirror and it popped back in place.
do us a favor and leave links to the solution parts for these problems.

@@chadbridges3507 dieseliq.com/the-5-most-common-isb-6-7-cummins-engine-problems/ They all have their issues. It is a matter of caring for them.
Can some one tell me where to find the pcv upgrades I think in having this issue...
Ccv reroute kit SPE
@@lonestartx7772 thank you!
You totally failed to mention all the electrical problems.
Like BJB failure, harness failure, tcm, PATs, fuel pump ect.
Those truck are nothing but problems.
Junk!
I’m on my fourth turbo on my 2017 platinum, it only has 40,000 miles
guy that works with me had 3 turbos before 40k
Im on my 19th turbo in 20,000 miles.
I had 3 turbos on my 2011 f350 6.7L (replaced twice not 3 plumbed together)
Are you a certified a mechanic?
👍
They also have a death wobble in these new fords worse then my 3rd gen ram which everyone knows had horrible frontends....but you spend 80k on a truck in 2020 and have the same problem lol

Glad I didn’t buy a Ford the word crud comes to mind listening to this whole thing
When you turn out as many vehicles as Ford does you are going to have some issues. Plus Ford is actually innovative unlike GM that uses the same old technology...no surprise their performance is always lacking.
You sound jealous, just sayin......
Don't they test these vehicles to find these problems? 🤷♂️🤦♂️
+speterbilt Thanks for the feedback!
He fits in the engine bay 🤭

It's vehicle
Good thing I have a 7.3. Not as pretty or powerful-but still able to haul a junk modern diesel to safety...
I have 7.3L gas as well. It’s more powerful than the 1st gen 7.3L powerstroke. 👍😀
Heck I had my 7.3 for 10 years and it had its own slew of problems even in stock form they all have negatives
