I just got into VR a couple of weeks ago and got the Quest 3. I am amazed at the experience. This game is amazing. I still have to catch on to the hand movement and spider lines, but was blown away at the realism of going up the window washer trolly and going from one aerial walkway to the next. Freaked me out! LOL. I can see I will love this game. Just got to get ahold of the timing. Thanks for the review.
Just got this for my son. Ended up playing it myself. Never thought I'd feel afraid of heights in a game. It is incredible. It really shows the potential of VR. It's not just a regular game with TV screens in a plastic hat. I felt immersed in a different world.
im loving the quest 3 more every day...just jumped back into unplugged after a year, it now feels totally on point with the latest hand tracking, and virtuoso in MR is really cool too
This looks so good! I've slept on it for long enough, I think since I'm ordering the Q3 this weekend, this might be one to pick up. I kinda hope that Iron Man also gets an update too, but if not, at least we have this!
Looks and plays great with my Q3. Also nice that it's cross-buy. Looks even a bit better with PCVR with my rtx4090 and Air Link. Fewer jaggies and nicer environment features like smoke. Still, not heaps better than standalone though. Probably means this was a bit of a lazy Quest standalone port imho. Great game though.
Pretty cool that so many Quest 2 games are getting updates for Quest 3, but it also goes to show how scaled back the Quest 2 games were that it's so easy to scale them up for better hardware.
@yellowboat8773 sadly you are correct when it comes to NMS the Quest 3 is able to get low-mid PCVR games running but it would be a huge effort to get it on standalone
Hey Rhys. Torn between psvr2 & quest 3. I have a ps5 and no gaming pc. Would ps5 be the obvious choice or does quest 3 just about hold it's own without needing to connect to anything.
So I would love to say PSVR 2 but at the moment I would be leaning toward the Quest 3. Both come with different pay offs PSVR 2 Amazing HMD but the games library is a little limited. High end experience plus it’s £500 all said and done. what games it does have are all high end. Quest 3 HUGE library of games 500+ and we are about to get a bunch them at look incredible! Around £500 but you will need to invest in a better headstrap as the stock one sucks ass. So it would be another £100 on top of the headset. It is not as powerful as the PSVR2 but with the games that are coming out for Quest I think it’s still going to be a solid HMD. Plus when you do invest in a PC even much later down the road it is an amazing PCVR headset. Really my best advice is look at the games on both stores and see what one grabs you more then go with that as you’d can not lose they both are good
The lenses alone make the quest 3 more appealing. Also you are completely untethered on Q3. Library of games is huge and the updated games are much closer to psvr2 quality. Closer but its still just a mobile chip so games will look more basic. Compared to quest 2 though it's a decent improvement. that said the OLED screen in psvr2 is a beauty. And playing resi village in VR... It's just so good.
This looks great and a very impressive upgrade for the Quest 3. Part of me is wondering if this update will run on the Pro? They are marketing all of these graphic updates for the Q3 for people to upgrade but I suspect this might run on the Pro. I may try later. I mostly play PC VR but it's worth a test.
@@Evilkingus I paid £450 for my Pro and a better PC VR experience and comfort. Nothing dumb in that and the Pro is better for PC VR which I play 99% of the time. If it's standalone you prefer because you don't have a decent PC, absolutely get the Q3, but calling me dumb for owning a Pro for PC VR is ridiculous.
u skipped forwards 2:25, just to see the middle of the content. There are no people, there are no cars, there are no city noises. You hype up everything but put background noise on and exclude the emptiness.
Stunning? What are you talking about dude? It's an extremely simple environment that looks like GTA 3 that came out 20 years ago, only with better textures and reflections. Just another youtuber hype nonsense 🤦♂
You say "Oh my God" a lot. I hope you have heard about God's son Jesus and how you will have eternal life by believing in him. Anyone who call upon the name of Jesus will be saved.
You sold me. I got home and downloaded it and INSTANTLY loved it. I can’t express it enough, it’s WAY more fun than you think!
Broo you make Beyblade content??????!!! Wtfffffff
I’m getting the game just because you said this😂
Awesome!! Glad your enjoying it mate 🔥

That’s amazing glad your enjoying it as much as me 🙏
I’m so glad you showed me this game! You are forever subscribed!
Thank you and welcome to the kingdom of VR
This game makes me want a Bionic Commando VR
Red Matter 2 is also NUTS on the Quest 3
Yes PSVR2 Spiderman, I am looking at you. What's taking you so long
For real!!! It needs to happen
I can confirm the Q3 graphics update runs perfectly on the Pro. I thought it would.
Another game to get for my Quest 3; and at only the price of a fast food meal, this was an instant buy - just for the “web swinging” alone!
For real!! Worth every penny
He wasn’t kidding guys. Definitely redownloaded this game and it’s like a whole new game 😮
Yeah it’s a huge improvement!!
It looks like something out of an anime aswell
Yeah it has that mix for sure
Keep iterating on this formula but add detailed real cities asap please.
Idk if windlands 2 was also updated but it looks better on the quest 3 when I hopped in than it did when I played it on PC.
For the Quest 3, does getting the USB cable make a difference VS good wifi ?
Yes a big difference 👍🏻
thank you , which cable would you recommend ? @@RhysDaKingVR
Would be nice to get some actual exclusive quest 3 games to make you want to upgrade from quest 2 for 500+

Glad they did an overhaul. I played maybe 4-5 hours of it, but put it down. I'll give it another go on my Q3 now :)
Worth the revisit
Nice, I just got a Quest 3, and this game is currently on sale for $11.99. Thanks for the recommendation.
Your going to have a good time mate
Even cheaper if you buy it via Japanese VPN

I hope NMS gets a standalone version too, quest 3 seems to now of the power of a pc
Way way way off the power of a PC bro. Ain't no chance no man's sky getting g a standalone version without severe downgrades

@@RhysDaKingVR one day I suppose, we are getting there in terms of being on par with pcs now
Can someone check if STORMLAND is actually not for sale on meta store anymore??
How much better does it look on pc with quest 3
I just want a headset that has built in full body tracking.
The Quest 3 will be getting torso tracking later this year, so that’s something.
how is this game for someone who can experience nausea when playing some vr games?
It’s got a load of comfort options! Plus you do have the 2 hour return window on Quest so if it’s not for you then you can return it
Hey Rhys. Torn between psvr2 & quest 3. I have a ps5 and no gaming pc. Would ps5 be the obvious choice or does quest 3 just about hold it's own without needing to connect to anything.
if you don't have a PC, for the higher fidelity and the PS5 exclusives, I'd go for PSVR2

I think the chip set is what makes it possible and that is not in the pro
Wishing won't make it so. A Pro is a Quest 2 with some extra features, the dumbest purchase in VR history, if you consider the price.

i dont quite think so as the pro is not nearly as mainstream as the quest 3 and def not as powerful
@RichBaxterMusic I think he's referring to the people that payed $1500 for the Pro when it first came out
Am I tripping that split screen's look almost exactly the same??🤷🏿♂️
It look like its using the same assets as the spider man game for PlayStation VR

dude resist was stunning on Q2! Such a fantastic title

Mate really impressed with the enhanced titles on Quest 3
Iron-man VR, another Banger and Smash Drums 👌
Im still waiting for a dbz type game
Half Life Alyx on the Quest 3? ...This Device has 1,4TFlops GPU Power. A 4090 has over 80TFlops
