  • Do you know who is stopping you? It’s you.
    Understanding what is unhealthy for us and no longer serves us is crucial. Letting go of those things has been a significant part of my journey. These three things have stopped me from achieving my goals and caused me to overthink in the past. I’ve learned a lot in the process of overcoming them, and I’d like to share what they are.
    1. Sense of Entitlement:
    I've seen this in a lot of people, and interestingly, I had the same feeling. Expecting everyone to be there for you, assist you, and do things for you can lead to disappointment. When they don’t, it’s easy to dwell on what others didn’t do for you and undervalue the people around you. This is a toxic trait that can ruin your life. To overcome this, I took complete responsibility for my life. I stopped expecting others to motivate me and push me. Instead, I focused on how blessed I am to have a supportive family and acknowledged their contributions. This shift in focus, from what I could get from others to what I could offer others, changed everything for me.
    2. Not Taking Massive Action in a Short period:
    Many of us want to grow, but how many are ready to put in the effort day in and day out? Exponential growth happens only for those who can take exceptional action in a short period. For example, water boils at 100°C, but the time it takes to reach that boiling point depends on whether the flame is high or low. Similarly, if you want something but only take action when it's convenient or comfortable, it won’t happen. Successful people know that real progress is in the unexciting, monotonous hard work that you might avoid.
    3. Not Believing in Yourself:
    I’m sure many of you can relate to this. You may not believe in the person you are right now but always believe in the person you can become. World-famous basketball player Michael Jordan once said that you must expect great things from yourself before you can do them. Self-belief is incredibly important. How do you improve your self-belief? Do something every day that pushes you out of your comfort zone. This will help you understand your own potential. Surround yourself with the right people-those who will definitely change your perspective. Remember, if you don’t believe in yourself, it doesn’t matter how talented you are or what dreams you have. Nothing is going to happen until you truly believe in yourself. So, believe in the most important person in this world-you.
