We really need a ChaeNnie sub-unit, I swear. Both were chosen to collaborate with G-Dragon, so it's a good thing to let them have a sub-unit. Their voices compliment with each other.
Lisa, she really showed how good she is a sub-vocalist. Her tone when singing is really different from her rapping tone. I love it.

I have noticed over the years, well all four of them, how Rose´ has a way to put her own timing in delivering the lyrics. Especially when it comes to her singing non BlackPink songs. Two examples are the short clip of her singing the Elvis song, 'Can't Help falling In Love With You' and the Nat King Cole song, Merry Christmas To you.'
Appreciate your analysis but you must know for the studio audio, even years before BlackPink, there has been the ability to place beats and vocals exactly where the producer wants them. Even slowing the individual timbre of instruments to stretch or compress them. I like to find a good quality audio fan cam of any groups live performance, solely to hear the vocal. I say fan cam because official live material has to be post produced to make the balance of instruments and vocal and backing material, all clearly audible. Very tricky to do and there are some excellent sound engineers, producing excellent 'live' material for DVD/Blu-Ray releases.

@Hannah CHUI WAN CHEONG yeah Jennie has not rap for more than 2 yrs and she came back with only 30s rap out of 24mins album. Jennie can't do much about her Main Rapper mistreatment but we fans have to do something. If the company won't let Jennie rap then we should encourage Jennie like DM/comment to her insta to open RUclips acc to post rap covers/ self written rap. We should let Jennie know how badly we want her to rap.
@Albus Dumbledore yeah we should encourage Jennie and tell her she can do it that she's a great rapper. Jennie might be not that confident to open a RUclips chanel and post covers since she had not been rapping that much. Remember during D4, Jennie said rapping brings back her confident. Jennie has been more focus on singing in these past 2 years that's why she kinda lost the confidence of rapping that fire when she was just a rookie -fresh from training in rapping for 6 years.
As a Sooya and a vocalist myself, it makes me sad that he barely talked about Jisoo, he completely ignored Jisoo's vibrato on 나를 (Nareul), that was my favourite part of the song and she did it the best and the fact that he cared about the background instrumental more than her made me sad.

It's not weird. Both their harmonies are like honey. Even when they sing simply in vlives it sounds so good. Channie subunit is something we definitely need in somewhere of their carrier.
10:08 lol I completely agree with you Justin. I normally hate that cadence, but here it's so well done. It might be because it's typically used in more rap / hip hop type songs, whereas it's unusual for a ballad like this, which makes it super interesting here. I love this song overall - might be my favorite song of the album tbh. Jisoo really shines in this one - I think her voice is really unique, which underlines your point that you shouldn't change your voice even if (or especially if) it's different from others.
