Personally she has the most potential overall in BlackPink in terms of vocal/rapping, she has soul in her voice and it’s naturally deep and strong it’s not usual in kpop. She just needs actual vocal training cause she actually wasn’t trained even though she’s lead vocal, she was just trained in rapping.

Sure Thing, Kiss and Make Up, Yuki no Hana and Hope Not demonstrate how good she could be if she were given more than 20secs and hidden backing vocals in BP songs. Also the handoff/pass from Jisoo into Rose's vocals is iconic in Kpop even with their lack of songs. Similar to GD into Taeyang or Seulgi into Wendy.
I agree...but if u don't watch a youtube video filtering out the main vocals and allowing u to clearly hear her hidden vocals and harmonisations, ppl barely notice how much colour is added in the background by both Jisoo and Rose. Unfotunately they are hidden just like our Visual and Foodse are hidden by YG.

Jennie is my favorite in rap/dance/singing/etc.. She actually did her first audition to YG company by singing a song. If she wasn’t good enough they wouldn’t have chosen her. but then she trained the most out of the other members and the company gave her RAP position instead of vocals but they all still had to sing rap dance every month to survive till the end. But then now she has improved a lot for her to be main rapper and lead Vocalist at the same time, and also her stage presence is always priced by the locals and fans I’m so proud of them all but honestly jennie worked so hard for this and deserves the knowledge thanks for reacting to them

For vocal, my favorite is Jisoo. I like her deep voice and she is the most stable in the group. Second is Rosè. When she sing, she can put emotions. But I like Rosè sing english song rather than korean song. And I like Rosè predebut voice ( G dragon Without you ) . Her voice is different now. I like more predebut voice. And third is my bias Jennie. She is rapper and singer. If she is trained for vocal focus, her voice will be really amazing. Also now she is good. The last is Lisa. I prefer Lisa's rapping than singing. But she has cute voice like animation song. Edited: you can see clearly thier vocal in As if it's your last (SBS party people). In that live, they have no backing vocal.
Many people tend to doubt Jennie’s vocal ability and try to say that she shouldn’t be lead vocal so I’m so glad that this video and the video you were watching proved otherwise because she is an amazing singer especially considering she had no vocal training prior to joining YGE. Jennie won my heart for sure, her vocal tone is suited well for singing and she impresses me even more every time they release a new album. Her vocals are only getting better and she has an amazing presence and feel when she is on stage that it just makes you fall in love with her.

@dhiya qistina Adele????? Ahdjdhdjhj adele's tone has nothing to do with jisoo's voice, it doesn't even resemble it. I can mention many sopranos and girls with cute voices and it won't mean they sound like rose even tho their tone will be similar due to their vocal register.
you see, jisoo is more confident in their own songs/korean songs, while she's less confident in english ones, that's probably because of she's not fluent in english (although she has improved a lot!)
I’m a vocal teacher myself. I thought I was the only one who appreciate Jennie’s technique and tone the most. Jisoo gets a lot of help from half playback. She does not have necessarily darker voice but she has a very unique warmer tone comparing to Rose. I think Jennie is the one who has slightly darker tone.
While rosé has a sweet tone on her voice which I like the most..and yes Jennie has good tone but for me she lacks of technique or even support on her vocal compared to jisoo but overall she's good

Vocal wise, Jennie is my favorite. Love her tone. She has soul and mixed with her charisma onstage she’s just really draws me in. Overall my bias is Lisa though. Lisa is a rapper, we don’t get to hear much of her singing. I remember the first time I saw her in the boombayah MV And she came through instantly fierce and laid down a rap line and I was sold. She’s one of the best female dancers in the industry and just has totally effortless stage presence, she knows exactly what to do on stage.
Yes for me in dance I agree with yours but in vocals rosé is my favorite along with Jennie I do not hate jisoo I love her but husky voice in hers is not that my type..I like some clearly tone in Jennie and angelic sweet tone in rosé but overall they are good at vocals along with Lisa too
I love the timbre of Lisa's voice when she sings/raps, it just makes their songs more unique and cool. Rosé sings with her heart and you can really feel it.. her cover of the Christmas song made me fall in love. I was literally singing that Christmas song for months after christmas thinking about the feelings her voice invoked in me. Jennie really has great presence and really brings the attitude when she performs,.. she also sounds very stable live. I love the darker more sultry tone of Jisoo's voice. She is also a very stable singer. When she performs their songs live, she sounds EXACTLY like she did in the studio version. In conclusion, I LOVE THEM ALL, for different reasons. :)

Jennie is my favorite in rap/dance/singing/etc..
She actually did her first audition to YG company by singing a song. If she wasn’t good enough they wouldn’t have chosen her. but then she trained the most out of the other members and the company gave her RAP position instead of vocals but they all still had to sing rap dance every month to survive till the end.
But then now she has improved a lot for her to be main rapper and lead Vocalist at the same time, and also her stage presence is always priced by the locals and fans

For vocal, my favorite is Jisoo. I like her deep voice and she is the most stable in the group. Second is Rosè. When she sing, she can put emotions. But I like Rosè sing english song rather than korean song. And I like Rosè predebut voice ( G dragon Without you ) . Her voice is different now. I like more predebut voice. And third is my bias Jennie. She is rapper and singer. If she is trained for vocal focus, her voice will be really amazing. Also now she is good. The last is Lisa. I prefer Lisa's rapping than singing. But she has cute voice like animation song.

I really like Rosé's unique vocal tone and just how she's always happy, but I love all of them so much and think they're all talented.
Many people tend to doubt Jennie’s vocal ability and try to say that she shouldn’t be lead vocal so I’m so glad that this video and the video you were watching proved otherwise because she is an amazing singer especially considering she had no vocal training prior to joining YGE.
Jennie won my heart for sure, her vocal tone is suited well for singing and she impresses me even more every time they release a new album. Her vocals are only getting better and she has an amazing presence and feel when she is on stage that it just makes you fall in love with her.

you see, jisoo is more confident in their own songs/korean songs, while she's less confident in english ones, that's probably because of she's not fluent in english (although she has improved a lot!)

I’m a vocal teacher myself. I thought I was the only one who appreciate Jennie’s technique and tone the most.
Jisoo gets a lot of help from half playback. She does not have necessarily darker voice but she has a very unique warmer tone comparing to Rose. I think Jennie is the one who has slightly darker tone.
While rosé has a sweet tone on her voice which I like the most..and yes Jennie has good tone but for me she lacks of technique or even support on her vocal compared to jisoo but overall she's good

Vocal wise, Jennie is my favorite. Love her tone. She has soul and mixed with her charisma onstage she’s just really draws me in. Overall my bias is Lisa though. Lisa is a rapper, we don’t get to hear much of her singing. I remember the first time I saw her in the boombayah MV And she came through instantly fierce and laid down a rap line and I was sold. She’s one of the best female dancers in the industry and just has totally effortless stage presence, she knows exactly what to do on stage.
Yes for me in dance I agree with yours but in vocals rosé is my favorite along with Jennie I do not hate jisoo I love her but husky voice in hers is not that my type..I like some clearly tone in Jennie and angelic sweet tone in rosé but overall they are good at vocals along with Lisa too

I love the timbre of Lisa's voice when she sings/raps, it just makes their songs more unique and cool. Rosé sings with her heart and you can really feel it.. her cover of the Christmas song made me fall in love. I was literally singing that Christmas song for months after christmas thinking about the feelings her voice invoked in me. Jennie really has great presence and really brings the attitude when she performs,.. she also sounds very stable live. I love the darker more sultry tone of Jisoo's voice. She is also a very stable singer. When she performs their songs live, she sounds EXACTLY like she did in the studio version. In conclusion, I LOVE THEM ALL, for different reasons. :)
