Blackpink has given us SO MANY bangers throughout their career, one after another after another after another. Kill This Love was not that bad of an era as people made it seem, “Kick it” was the song with the fairest line distribution and it was really good, and “Hope not” showcased their vocals like “Stay”. The fact that some of their dance practice have more views than “Stay” shows how people only pay attention to their popular songs like D4 or KTL. “You never know” also made their vocals shine and it was a very good closing to the album. But like always, people are paying more attention to more ‘upbeat’ songs like Pretty Savage and Bet You Wanna and overlooking the masterpiece that You Never Know is.
joyful_07 yeah! Honestly I liked KTL, more then HYLT... the b-side songs in the album were honestly amazing and Hope Not was a beautiful ending that showcased all their vocals (including Lisa)... I feel like YG doesn’t do a lot of softer songs because much of Blackpink’s popularity/views come from their more ‘upbeat’ some with the beat drops like KTL, HYLT, D4. Which is sad to me because so many people misunderstand Blackpink concept/discography from their one title track :/ Forever Young and See You Later are two different songs for instance.

YNK is the least popular out of the songs on the album which is sad because honestly it’s one of my favorites. Kill This Love was not that bad of an era as people made it seem, “Kick it” was the song with the fairest line distribution and it was really good, and “Hope not” showcased their vocals like “Stay”. The fact that some of their dance practice have more views than “Stay” shows how people only pay attention to their popular songs like D4 or KTL. “You never know” also made their vocals shine and it was a very good closing to the album. But like always, people are paying more attention to more ‘upbeat’ songs like Pretty Savage and Bet You Wanna and overlooking the masterpiece that You Never Know is.
joyful_07 yeah! Honestly I liked KTL, more then HYLT... the b-side songs in the album were honestly amazing and Hope Not was a beautiful ending that showcased all their vocals (including Lisa)... I feel like YG doesn’t do a lot of softer songs because much of Blackpink’s popularity/views come from their more ‘upbeat’ some with the beat drops like KTL, HYLT, D4. Which is sad to me because so many people misunderstand Blackpink concept/discography from their one title track :/ Forever Young and See You Later are two different songs for instance.

this song touched me the most. 4 years of being with blackpink is a roller coaster ride. it was tough bc of all the hate that has been thrown to them constantly and the times when i defended the girls and got hated bc of my act. but all of it was cut into pieces just bc of blackpink. aside from my family and friends, they were the ones who gave me comfort and happiness during my alone times and even when they disband, ill be eternally grateful that there was blackpink. that they somehow brightened up my teenage life.

This is the most meaningful song of Blackpink I have heard. It has such a important meaning behind it. The hate the girls recieve on a daily basis and all of it is because of judgement.
