    Also, giving a good friends girlfriend or wife a friendly hug when seeing each other is something i always do and imagine most men do. Its completely normal in my opinion. The fact that it angered her so much that it caused hours of arguing, not just once but several times.. makes me question her mental health and makes it more likely she could be angered to the point of killing him.

      Statistically, men are more likely to shoot themselves in the head, and women shoot themselves in the chest, and I think that's why she shot him in the chest to make it look like a suicide. Or another theory I was thinking about, she was only fantasizing about shooting him with a gun that she thought was empty because she took the magazine out, not realizing there was one in the chamber. It took her 45 minutes to come up with a story, and it would explain why she was genuinely emotional. I wonder if they checked his phone for fingerprints. The last person to use it sent that "I want to die" message.

It's possible she fantasized about killing while he slept so she took the magazine out of the gun, and now believing it to be empty, aimed and pulled the trigger, not realizing one was in the chamber. In a panic it took her 45 minutes to concoct and stage the suicide story. And not intending to kill him, the emotion is genuine, and explains the freudian slip on the 911 call.

    To say, "i love you, here I'll prove it" before suicide is extremely rare. People kill themselves out of despair in depression, or because they see something as too great to get past & they don't want to deal with the consequences (in a very general sense). The "I love you, I'll prove it" is a narcissistic thought by a murderer who wanted to be the centre of someone's world but wasn't. So it's their way trying to fool the world that they were, along with themselves (in that everyone else saying, "poor baby, he did this cos his love for you was so great" type things). I feel bad that there wasn't more evidence to point to a clear conclusion both for his family & LE & the community.

      It's not as crazy as you think people have shot themselves in the heart and lived long enough to shoot themselves again, put things away and even text. If you were going to shoot yourself in the heart then most likely you would aim directly into the heart which is located on the left side. If this man was so knowledgeable about guns then why the heck would he leave it ready to go in his drawer? Not very wise...especially if he was in a highly emotional situation.

    This case needs reopened and further investigated. I believe Brenda killed Jonathan. She has a life history of lying, she's controlling and jealous, and she pleaded the 5th on every question asked in court. The woman has residue all over her hands and clothes. I could go on, but the point is...don't let Brenda get away with murder. Jonathan deserves justice! My prayers go out to the family.

    • @nakedkitten
      @nakedkitten 6 месяцев назад

      Actually most of what you said has an answer for. Taking the 5th while you are on the stand is what most people do in a civil case because it's too risky not to. Next, they never tested his hands for residue and clubbed up other evidence as well. Finally, you said "I believe Brenda killed Johnathon" which means there is reasonable doubt. You are not supposed to put someone in jail over a belief or feeling...you are supposed to be 100 percent positive before you take away someone's life. What if your belief is wrong? It happens you know.

    ProTip: Never testify at your own trial if you plan to plead the fifth for every question during cross-examination. That's a terrible look no matter how you slice it, and I have no idea why the hell her attorney would even allow her to do that. Then again, she seems incredibly thick-headed and stubborn so she probably insisted she was going to take the stand and tell her story no matter what. It's a shame she wasn't criminally charged because it's pretty obvious what happened here.

    • @nakedkitten
      @nakedkitten 6 месяцев назад

      The reason her attorney let her do that is because it is very risky taking the stand at your own trial and that is why you rarely see the accused taking the stand in a criminal case. People judge others very harshly on every little aspect or detail. They don't only judge you on your words but on your appearance, the way you move and the tone you speak in. Just look at how everyone came to a conclusion about this woman in a 24 minute video.
