As bad as having an affair and fathering a child while being a spiritual counselor to her husband is, murdering him AND then giving a eulogy at his funeral puts him into "unscrupulous beast" category deserving of every contempt. Kids whose parents abuse them emotionally and physically will still plead to go back to them if given a choice. We're not seeing two rational young adults in these courtroom clips. We're seeing two very f'd up kids - due to their mother's craven selfishness - who'd put better use to that insurance money in therapy. They're going to need it. Hopefully they've gotten it by now & have a clearer picture of who their mother really is.

We could see early on that Randy was a loyal and trusting person when he took his cheating wifes word about the pregnancy that there was only a very small chance of him being responsible for.
And for that poor excuse of a person who counselled him while having a years long affair with Randy's wife, is the epitome of evil. Who does that?

Had this been the other way around, there would have been ZERO support for Randy Stone from the kids. Mom would have been the victim of an evil monster who couldn’t keep his dick in his pants. However, since it’s Mom, she needs support. There must have been a legitimate reason for her to plot her husbands murder. In fact, Dad probably had it coming.

As I’m sure that insurance money that was meant to be for the children was probably used on their mother court case. I can understand they didn’t want to lose another parent, and didn’t want to believe their mother could be involved in anyway. Bt her asking for that insurance money less than 24hrs after Randy’s death is beyond cold & callous.

I didn’t break down til later in the morning when it all hit me like a ton of bricks 😢 But Theresa was laughing and smiling which made me suspicious, only bc of my own recent experience. Imagine thinking murder is better than a divorce …even if their faith says “no to divorce”……pretty sure it says no to murder too
