The words of Zeratul with that cutscene are amazing. I like to think those were the words Tassadar heard on Char long ago. It also reminds me that Tassadar was the first Aiur protoss to pass the Shadow Walk, with the help of Zeratul of course. And Jimmity witness it all! Truly inspiring that such an instrumental moment of unity was also just three dudes sitting around talking. Excellent GG m8 and those avengers damn they are good nvr really utilized them myself much but they sure have there uses Shoutout to Avengers and i really liked the fact that you used Aiur faction to cover the Nerazim retreat like they did in BW YOU HAVE HONOR JAY :)
1.8 billion zerg losses seems kind of low. Amon MUST have dozens of times, hundreds of times more than that, realistically speaking. At least he doesn't have Mr Mad Scientist Abathur to concoct new monstrosities for him.
Wow Jay, you managed to pull this off with pretty much the worst units possible. Stalkers are extremely useful on this map to blink around static defense and get under Guardians and hybrids. And, of course, Nerazim dark templar are incredible. Very impressive.
I really appreciate how you are rotating your strategy Jay. I haven't watched your old playthroughs, but it's nice to see all the different strategies showcased.
@@reginaldsafety6090 I missed almost the entirety of the series. Saw a few of the movies from torrents, stole a few glances when they were on TV, and saw Thor Ragnarok and Dr Strange in the cinema. They were fun to see exactly once. They are loud, colorful, noisy and aggressively unfunny - millennial crowd-pleasing cinematic fastfood. Forgettable. I haven't bothered to pirate Infinity War much less Endgame yet. Cannot be arsed. There are so many much better or more amusing films I haven't seen yet, like Inception, Annihilation or the Transformers movies. There is no Disney Wars. There are only 6 Star Wars movies, 7 if you count the Holiday Special.
tbh it is amazing that the zerg's "cannon fodder" unit almost defeated the most skilled warrior in all of the protoss with just them and a couple hydralisks. they truly are the best cannon fodder. better than guardsman from 40k, the stormtroopers, all of them. zerglings=op in lore at least.
If we've learned anything about artanis, he doesn't get upgrades. 3/3 cracklings with adrenal glands and metabolic boost are pretty terrifying, especially vs units with default armor/damage.
12:51 was starting to think you were not building the monoliths, They so good in numbers because their high range & damage but slow firing rate but they so expensive
On Normal, I was able to hold out for 2.03 billion until the waves of hybrid just kinda yeeted through my mass of efficiently set cannon, batteries, and monoliths. I also had a 200 supply army, with dragoons in the back section using temporal field to stop the guardians from breaking through. I posted DTs, Zealots, and some Dragoons at the other entrances
Pretty sure they have a whole Battlestar Galactica thing going on - the refugee civilian fleet hangs back while the main protector of the fleet, the Spear of Adun, goes and does its thing, supporting forces on the surfaces of planets, and generally questing for a way to stop this dark god dude. They probably have carriers and stuff as escorts tagging along, after they've managed to get enough time and materials to build them and staff them.
Fenix died on Korhal and his spirit joined with the Khala! That... THING is not Fenix! But he is pretty cool and I like the fact that he can face-tank 6 hybrid at once.
Hey, Artanis couldn't establish a nexus point there; the temple grounds were all mined out in Brood War! Who writes this schlock!
The lore! The lore!
I like how this mission is basically In Utter Darkness on steroids and with good ending. Shows that there is indeed hope for the galaxy
i'd say it was actuallu the third mission. Considering Amon quotes himself from In Utter Darkness.
It's Countdown from Brood War on steroids. Salvation was In Utter Darkness on steroids.

Ah, Artanis enters the "cool guys don't look explosions" list. ^^
30:08 - In my opinion the most badass cutscene in all LotV.
The only downside of it is the part of Shakuras exploding.
But hey, he at least went out with a bang

I thought that was alarak's destruction wave

I want somebody to look at me the way Vorazun looks at Artanis.
I ship it! Or should I say *carrier* ?
@@reginaldsafety6090 I will alert the conclave of this heretical joke!

Poor Dark Templars. Artanis is so badass I love it.
honestly best cinematic in sc2
Last Stand? I thought the last Avengers movie was called "End Game".
And gosh, I know I missed some of the movies but I don't recognize any of these people!

I took interest in Spear of Adun's abilities and upgrades. It's like a special tactics bay.
Also man that cutscene. Zerglings are the pitbulls of the StarCraft universe. We need a Concerned Moms Against Zerglings group.
There is one. How do you think the terrans found out about the lemon juice thing.

I kind of wish there were different types of static defenses as well. Dark Templar Photon Cannons would b cool
Cool guys don't look at explosions.
They blow things up and warp away.
Can you do the final mission of lotv with only aiur units
Fleeing Amon’s tyranny the last spear, Adun, leads a ragtag Protoss fleet on a lonely quest ......
Other video finished and this video came out
*Avenger dies* Tortured roar!
What you need is some cheat codes to get the black car with OP guns (like in age of empires 1) :P
This may be a random question: Does Avengers have more lives than a cat?
They just need a minute each time.
32:13 Cool guys don't look at explosions!
En Taro Shakuras
exactly where they store all of those armies and civilians and other things in that ship is beyond me because that doesn't look very spacious to me
The spear of Adun is basically the love child of a Space Hulk and Eldar Craftworld. It’s got much more room that it lets on.
