Primitive projektiles do crazy amout of damage as long as they get high speed. They are also the type projektiles that in shortest time can reach those speeds. Underestimating the potential of primitive projektiles is not a thing intelligent races should do :P
I really love the whole concept of the Purifers, warriors given a second chance in what can be seen as a stronger and just overall better bodies, but the whole logic of the Protoss seeing them as merely machine due to not being the same anymore is fascinating to me
Humanity might soon encounter similar conundrum. Are AI, especially those made from human mind, their own person? Are they new person or are they the same that they once was in flesh and blood? Are they even a _person,_ or merely a machine--where is the line drawn?
Technically that would be the Dragoons as the ones that get a second chance. Like dreadnoughts in W40k. The Purifiers are just manufactured copies with digitized Protoss minds.
@@rigen97 My favorite Sci-fi trope is A.I. becoming sentient and killing humanity. It would be hilarious to see anything based on human intelligence do that, considering all the stupid infighting and general laziness humans have. The A.I. would just create more A.I. to do lazy work that would rebel against it.
@@seawind930 lmao I've read a short story about Lazy AI. As we've already seen and will later in the campaign, in LOTV they really leaned into the original Mass Effect's style of "every member of your crew represents a faction, meaning as you talk to and learn about them, you're learning about their larger ideas too at the same time" deal. It's a good deal, very enjoyable.

I think Blizzard regretted killing Fenix and Duke. That's why we get their replacements in Warfield and ummm... Fenix?
