Yeah I've been wondering. Are terrazine drugs? Because tosh was addicted into them for his specters. And of course we know that in the talderim Homeworld they have terrazine and they enjoy it so much
4:20 Amazing, Reigel was amazing and got access to everything best tech units. She's ready up for next challenge. 8:58 Wow Umojan Marines need help. Nova and her force will help them against them.
The stupidity and ignorance of the Terrans never cease to amaze me. It's Feral Zerg and Tal'Darim Protoss. Not the Swarm or Daelamm. Stop expecting another hundred years long war.
Because the zerg and the protoss have been so forward about information about themselves and the intricacies of their alliances and factions. I mean yes for 90% of the terrans all they've seen of them is either gnawing teeth or the buisness end of a world glassing ray but really you'd think by now they'd have learned to distinguish beteen the flavors of their current doom ! Besides why would the dominion civilians already have any reason to be warry of the swarm and Daelam ? It's not like the swarm invaded the dominion *twice* with billions of dead in both WOL and HOTS and the golden armada devastated multiple sectors in LOTV.
Not only Nova's personality and voice changed but I think overall her looks changed so much since Hots...On Hots her portrait definitely had looks of more aggressive angry evil cunning deceptive murderous sinister facial image but now on her portraits she looks friendlier cooler caring decent reasonable honorable and not to mention she looks way more prettier than Wol/Hots... However one things she haven't changed is the fact that she looks tough... I wonder what made her to change her personality so much?
It's possible that her personality didn't change, we're just seeing more of it with these missions. Her defining trait has always been to defend the Dominion and now we can see what else there is as well.
Nova Covert Ops' main theme is that Nova is a soldier first and foremost. She's loyal to the Dominion, and would obey its leader just like any other ghost. So maybe she was cold because that was how Arcturus ran the Dominion. And now she is friendlier because that's how Valerian runs the Dominion. And I'm not sure about this but I think there have been changes in the Ghost Program since Valerian became emperor, with mind wipes being less frequent for ghosts or something like that.
cheol yoon chung I don’t think her actual personality changes too much between WoL/hots and covert ops, but there is the comic The Keep about her, in which she decides to stop having her memory wiped after each mission (which valerian has made optional) and face the consequences of the things she does on them, instead of wiping them away and living in ignorance. I think that’s definitely a pivotal moment for her character in some capacity
The fact that she's the protagonist now and that we can't have an unsympathetic protagonist ? (it's actualy fairly common, see a game where a usual antagonist/secondary character from a series is played as a protagonist and you'll usualy see small design changes to make them look nicer/more human/cuter/more relatable in general) But if we really want a possible in lore explanation: the change in the dominion's administration may have changed things a bit. Ghosts were and, if the first mission is any indication, still are regularly memory wiped and brainwashed. We don't know how mucht that affect their deep personality and the campaign sure don't go into details, but its possible squeaky clean idealistic Valerian dominion may want/allow for some slightly less ruthless and murderous ghosts than old Megsk and the Confederacy did.
Hey if someone can help out a starcraft 2 noob. I tend to build two engineering bays and armories to do both upgrades at once, but I've noticed Jay only builds one, even on this map where he mentions the large amount of resources you'll have at the end of it. Am I valuing upgrades too much?
In the campaigns you don't need upgrades at all, if you have good macro and micro, but you can still do 2 upgrades at once just.make sure you have a lot.of resources and units
basically she is not taking the same drugs she tries to stop tosh from getting high on.... and they were supposed to be a couple at one point, and then no one ever say a thing about it afterwards, man....
Alarak is the best that came out of LotV and Nova Covert Ops campaigns. He is so over the top, it's awesome.
Jim Cummings voice acting don't hurt either.
@@s.m.2523 Alarak is voiced by John de Lancie, the "Q" from Star Trek TNG.
It's nice to see alarak again, and as always with the bargain.
Alarak is, by far, the best Protoss.
Alarak: Terran minds are so malleable...
Wanna get high on some Terrazine?
Winners don't do terrazine !
Yeah I've been wondering. Are terrazine drugs? Because tosh was addicted into them for his specters. And of course we know that in the talderim Homeworld they have terrazine and they enjoy it so much
Protoss in a nutshell
Aiur: Honor and Greatness
Narazim: Shadows and Swiftness
Purifiers: Cleansing and Purification
Tal 'darim: Bargains
Does Alarak know about Big Lots?
@@TheFranchiseCA He owns Big Lots, for he is the Bargainlord of the Tal'darim.
'Bargains' is really all Alarak. Tal'darims in general are more 'Slash and Burn'
@@s.m.2523 The Tal'darim follow Alarak and do what he commands, so if he strikes a bargain the Tal'darim are apart of the bargain.
You forgot drugs; Bargains and Drugs.
Alarak just casually reading Nova's mind. Best dude ever.
Edit: Venn diagram of freedom
2:57 when you thought that protoss can't smile.
My exact thoughts.:)
Love how Alarak's solution to every problem is "just get high"
Alarak: for creatures with such short life spans your always so eager to die!
Me: it's called YOLO Doug, do what you can while your still breathing
And that is why humans are so weak.
4:20 Amazing, Reigel was amazing and got access to everything best tech units. She's ready up for next challenge.
8:58 Wow Umojan Marines need help. Nova and her force will help them against them.
No talk of how you can kill Alarak if you nuke the last extractor just as the mission ends?
That works?
Those infested terrans look disturbingly creepy for once...
33:44 let’s not talk about the other nova to the left
Jayborino has been caught killing dowadiru's cousin blightbringer 27:16

@William King The feral Zerg are a little different than the primal Zerg.

Would have been nice if it had been mentioned at least shortly in the game then.

Somehow I don't like Alarak from this campaign more than from legacy of the void
Playing him against Artanis is amazing, the bad boy and the boy scout are forced to cooperate, it's great stuff.
Nova greeting commitee lol
