Oh my, that's a great idea, but I hope you can react to Black Cat Nero LIVE (This is also a cover song of an old Kpop music, but they truly nailed the vocals) and please listen to TURBULENCE as well. Ateez is very well known as good performers, but they are amazing vocalists as well and Jongho is such a gem. I hope I can see more of them in your channel Katriinka.

my favorite kingdom performance was symphony no.9 from the wonderland. it's one of their most iconic performances and it got almost a perfect score from the judges too! if you wanna check it out i promise it's a lot of fun!! i still watch it everday to this day

Yes, their performances were according to the storyline that they have been working on from their debut.
The charismatic person you talked about is their leader, song writer, producer, main rapper ( there is 1 more main rapper in ateez but he was absent during kingdom due to health issues) .
One more fact is that they were the youngest group in this competition. They appeared here on their 2nd year since debut.
I would like to recommend 'Turbulence' MV of Ateez and wonderland symphony no. 9 from kingdom as well.

In addition, their performance "Answer: Ode to Joy" has an incredible, beautiful vocal moment that definitely warrants an analysis on its own. No words.

Jongho four level high notes in live is no joke.
P.S they had combined with their storyline in the kingdom based on their album and they debuted as eight pirate :))) The last scene is “halateez” that represent the opposite side of ATEEZ. :)))
Seonghwa is not main vocalist, Jongho is. But Seonghwa is a vocalist and Performer.

ateez is mostly a performance group, known for dance, but their 6/8 vocal line is really strong! if you want a more vocal-heavy performance with all 8 members, I suggest their performances on ItsLive, especially the Turbulence (BAND ver.)!
I think you should watch them perform Utopia live, Seonghwa (the man with the bright hair in this performance) his vocals really get to shine there if you ask me!
Side note: everyone's vocals were amazing in the Utopia live performance in Seoul!!

Symphony No9 "From The Wonderland" is probably my favorite from Ateez off KLW. Jongho has an epic 4 octave moment during the performance.

ateez have some great vocals, 6/8 members are in fact vocalists. this song doesn't have a lot of vocal parts so some of the vocalists took on rapping parts, they're very versatile!
You're right all Ateez performances in Kingdom were cohesive:
- *WAVE : Overture* , their opening stage, introduces them as "pirates", Ateez main storyline, Hoongjoong (blonde charismatic) is our Captain (leader)
- *Symphony No. 9 "From The Wonderland"* shows the inside of their pirate ship and presents "the hourglass", the main object in Ateez storyline
- *The Awakening of Summer* (this video) shows how they got the hourglass and a bit of their view on music and arts
- *Answer : Ode to Joy* , the most heavy in storyline and emotions for Atiny. It shows their whole plot, how the hourglass work, the "masked man" (enemy), and HALAteez (their future selfs). And added to it, shows a bit of their struggle in Kingdom and how they didn't want "the crown" but the recognition.
[This is a little little resume, all stages had a lot of meaning in lyrics and other objects and situations]
●They did other stages, *"Colours"* (w/Skz and BTOB [rap unit]) Hongjoong wanted to add a "moral" message to it and everyone agreed so much that it ended being the main topic of the performance, *"Wolf"* (w/Skz and BTOB too [dance unit]) where 5 of the 8 dancers were from Ateez. And *"The Real"* (final stage) it has some little elements of their storyline but is mostly about their view in K-pop and the only path they considere in the industy "Humble & Kindness" (Ateez main slogan)
when ateez is so all around talanted that even the singers gets called rappers hahah :)
You absolutely must react to Ateez's kingdom performance of wonderland, Jongho's vocals are even more insane in that performance!!

Ah man, the day you posted this...I SAW THEM IN CONCERT. Hearing Jongho's vocals live is such a blessing. It was amazing. I really hope you look into ATEEZ further! I feel like everyone below already gave you plenty of input hahah OH MY I DO AGREE - Answer: Ode To Joy on Kingdom with ATEEZ is another great one. That one makes me cry every single time.
Yes they make a history (in sequence) in every performance on kingdom, and the history is in the comebacks too. I realy recomend the MVs Ateez is so much Good!!! And the one with the white mic is the leader.
Just saw them live today they are so unrealistic it’s like you can’t believe they are real . And Jonghos vocals are so clear and are that good in real life. You should continue listening to them

I wanna recommend the No Limit performances from Kingdom. Especially BtoB, Stray Kids and Ateez. They really pulled off the concepts beautifully
There are a few songs Like dazzling light, utopia or be with you thata have a lot of vocals. Also Turbulence and Take me home. Their live versions are just perfect.
They're all superb dancers (the dance line is pretty loosely defined these days) and great vocalists (Jongho is of course in a league of his own, then the next one in the vocal "hierarchy" is San (the one who did the "I just wanna make you groove" line), after him Seonghwa (red haired beauty) and Yunho (the tallest dancer with black hair), then Wooyoung (ponytail) and Yeosang (the one who bowed).
There's a lot of songs that highlight their vocals, but if you'd like to hear something softer I'd recommend Turbulence from It's Live and Mist, the concert version. Leave the Door Open is cool too, and they have similar hair so you'll be able to identify them better ;)
Hongjoong (the charismatic rapper/producer/composer) did a fantastic cover of Numb by Linkin Park (among other classics like Purple Rain, Last Christmas, Black or White, or Space Oddity, all on the Ateez' YT channel under By.Hongjoong), and he does like MCR! Jongho has his own series of covers on that channel as well, called the Jjongst.
BTW, this song is a cover of iKON's Rhythm Ta - since you're into song transformations you should definitely check out the original because it's probably even more different than Back Door SK and BtoB versions were :)
Seonghwa, San and Hongjoong are also part of the ”Demon Line”, so called because their stage precence is /that/ intense. All the guys have great stage precence but those three are on another level.
And yes, Hongjoong is incredibly charismatic!! He was the first member to catch my eye in their Studio Choom performance of Wonderland, felt like the man was staring right into my soul.

The song is Rhythm Ta, which is originally an iKON song. They swapped songs with iKON and iKON covered Inception. Both did an amazing job 🔥
You should, performance wise and vocal wise, absolutely watch their cover perfomance of 'black cat nero' on immortal songs. Performance is amazing, vocals are from another world.
At this point…please react to all the Kingdom performances! Everyone did so well, all the groups are very very talented and different. Ateez storyline is awesome. The gorgeous red haired boy is Seonghwa, he is a singer. The blond one is the leader, he composes Ateez songs.
Leave the door open has some great vocals I recommend turbulence, wonderland symphony no.9, wave and illusion they have some awesome vocals. Ateez is very well known for their incredible stage presence and dancing but their live vocals are so good they are so stable especially in the past year
ATEEZ never disappoints and their Kingdom performances were amazing. On Kingdom they didn't only perform but had a meaningful story behind every stage. They have a story behind their group and Hongjoong (the blonde rapper in this video) said that they didn't even ''told'' half of their group story. There's so much coming from ATEEZ and I can't wait.

THEY REMIND ME OF MCR TOO!! not only in this but they've had other performances and outfits that made me go back and listen to mcr so many times haha i think it has something to do with their leader hongjoong (or as you called him the charismatic rapper) is also a fan.
ateez are generally a more vocal focused group (they have 6 vocalists and 2 rappers) but i think this song was heavy on the rapping because it was a cover of ikon who have a heavy hip hop inspired image. that plus the fact that one of their rappers, mingi, was on hiatus at the time so the parts needed to be distributed to the vocalists. and yes you are right! about their performances being connected throughout kingdom. this one is a prequel to wonderland symphony no.9 that has a pirate theme. their storyline is very long and complicated so i don't wanna trouble you with all the information. if you decide to react to wonderland in the future i hope you have fun it's one of the best in kingdom in my opinion. people still talk about it to this day and it was even ranked 1st in the best kpop performances of 2021 so i would love if you checked it out one day and told us your thoughts

i recommend watching the full version of the performances for kingdom *and that’s for any group* because it doesn’t have the “reaction cuts” so it doesn’t cut the flow of the performance

In ATEEZ there are two rapers: Hongjoong (blonde with charisma) and the second Mingi was on hiatus. The rest of them are singers (in order of singing: Seonghwa (the red hair one), Yunho, Wooyoung (with pony tail), San (one with beautiful high note), Jongho and Yeosang)

I definitely recommend any of the itslive performances they did a few weeks ago!! The turbulence performance was really good!! It also has all 8 of them since one of the rappers(mingi) was not in the kingdom performances
If you’re loving Jongho, you’re in for a wonderful ride lol.
This song is for "ikon " and ikon is hip hop type of group so it's the reason why it was more rapping than singing
This performance especially was more focused on rap and jongho's high notes, but if you react to Answer Ode to Joy's performance in Kingdom you'll hear their vocals more
In my opinion the best songs to appreciate all the vocals in ateez are: utopia, aurora, mist, desire, answer, turbulence, take me home, good lil boy, I would like you to hear some of those

'I wanna make you groove ' part has been by Choi San. San and Jongho duos are great vocalists. Main vocalists. Though all other even the rap line can sing superbly. Ateez has great vocals and they're actually known for extraordinary stage presence.

Ateez impressed me during Kingdom so much with how they pulled off their storyline! Not only because it was consistent til the final, but it was consistent with their group storyline but still offered so much variety!
As others have said, one of their recent songs Turbulence is a great showcase of their vocals! Also Not Too Late (a b-side that they've promoted with live performances!) Mist and Utopia are two more of my favourites! Their covers from the show Immortal Songs are amazing too!!
Ateez was the youngest group that compete on Kingdom but man, they killed every every stages. Their concepts, charisma, stage presence and everything just made me them even more!
Ateez has 8 members, officially 2 rappers only (1 missing in kingdom due to health issue), but the rest are vocalists who are also capable of rapping. Dance line? Officially 3 main dancers, but all of them are crazy-a** dancers. This song has more rap parts than vocals, that's why u mistook most of them were rapper, when it's actually not.

Ateez leader(blonde guy) Hongjoong is literally best human in entire world.
He is genius composer, producer, performer(he is one of demon-line ATEEZ), raper(his rap is so unique and playful, and his signature is giggle Hehe~), he can sing(his covers to Michael Jackson, David Bowie and more...), he love reforming clothes(he said if he wasn't idol, he would work in fashion industry), he is perfect leader for ateez and kindest and supportive person in the world(polished man campaign, happy hippie and many more). He also cutest and smallest leader in k-pop, I swear.

Their personalities are just as exceptional as their looks. Seonghwa is so thoughtful and kind, Hongjoong is a great leader, Yunho is their energizer, Yeosang is sweet and savage, San is the mood maker, Mingi is hilarious, Wooyoung is their touchy-feely troublemaker, and Jongho is level-headed and sweet. All of them are humble, caring, and fun, so their content is great.
Jongho's One Late Night in 1994 on You Heeyeol's Sketchbook shows a gentler side of his vocals.

HongJoong is the main rapper. He is also the leader but we call him The Captain. He also writes and produces for ATEEZ. He is seriously a genius. You would love to watch the behinds of him re-creating Wonderland. I CANT WAIT for you to see more of their performances. And they have amazing slower songs if you want to listen to their albums or to lyric videos.
They have a huge storyline. These performances intertwine with their music videos as well. They chose songs they new us Atiny would want to see.

One with red hair is Seonghwa which oldest member of group that you said that’s doesn’t deserve to look like this. ( so true he’s looks so damn good with his red hair ) And one you said is very charisma is Hongjoong who is rapper of the group along with being producer for Ateez . He’s also leader of Ateez .
i love that you say rapper in 5:20, but he's not in the actual rap line lol; in ATEEZ the official rap line it's just Hongjoong (the blonde guy) and Mingi (wasn't on Kingdom), but I can say that every member can rap, including Jongho

Ateez is known for energetic passionate performances and dancing, so a majority of their kingdom performances are heavily storylines and dancing. They have amazing vocals even while dancing so much its crazy how they keep up.
the members- (everyone is considered a dancer so ill leave that role out)
(23)Hongjoong - the blond rapper, he is the leader and rapper and he produces/writes a lot of their music, he always laughs before his rap, its like his signature
(23)seonghwa - red hair, hes a vocalist but was recently added to the rapline as he auditioned as one originally, he also does highnotes alongside jongho
(22)yunho - tall black hair, vocalist and main dancer
(22)yeosang - black hair vocalist, he doesnt get many lines but his voice is so pretty sob
(22)san - purpleish hair, vocalist, he had the solo dances and the vocals you liked in the start, he does a lot of the adlibs in their songs
(22)mingi - the other rapper, was unfortunately on hiatus during kingdom but his voice is much deeper than hongjoongs, his signature before rapping is 'fix on'
(22)wooyoung - black and blond split dye, vocalist
(21)jongho - you know him lol, main vocalist in charge of powerful vocals and high notes

tbh there is only one Ateez rapline member throughout Kingdom, they pulled through every single stage doing almost everything as a group which is why I love them very much!

Firstly thank you so much for reacting to Ateez!! I just wanted to say that leave the door open would be a great video to react to, it’s much more focused on vocal and rap. I will say in both this kingdom performance and leave the door open, one of the members is away due to health reasons. I can’t help but think you would enjoy the Ateez It’s Live performances a lot. They are great showcases of all of the members vocal and rap talent and all of the members are present :))
