Well, the state has finished their investigation and saw fit to revoke her license. Not suspend or reprimand but revoke. It’s a criminal matter now. And the court will more than likely side heavily with the Nursing Board finding.

Reading is fundamental and so is taking ur time

Reading, yes. But taking your time is not a thing in acute care hospitals.

The title for this is about a man, lol. She lost her job with the hospital within a few days, just an FYI and the hospital did not report as they should have, she immediately told about her med error. I don't want people to panic, but, self advocate, and have people with you if possible, who are willing to speak up. No one in health care is trying to do wrong, but, everyone needs help sometimes, and good health care workers welcome your input!

I've read comments from experienced nurses saying it's the hospital's negligence for having that drug in the location it was. It is always kept in lockup for this very reason, so accidents like this can be avoided. Disgusting for them to sacrifice her to cover their own asses.

@@soundhealer6043 welll but all she had to do was READ. So we shouldn't expect nurses to do that? How much lower of standards should we put on nurses? Go ahead and shoot up meth too since they're over worked?
