For putting out an industrial object (for example chimney), this approach could work, however fire (and smoke) dynamics in a high rise are complex. The foam (with water) is a better effect because you lower the temperature of smoke (which is your largest fuel source). The powder has only effect is you can direct put it on the fire source (with is not in most cases not direct approachable in most appartments), but even most of the fire effect are driven by the smoke, so by smassing the window you give the fire air. However this being said, this technology gives potential. It could deploy firefighters on the roof (it could help with evacuation), etc. So it is an interesting technology, but is needs tobe further studied and tested
If you've seen EH's share price increases recently you'll know this company is going to be the leader (already is) There ahead of everyone in this sector just like tesla was in the beginning.
Nah I’d say that they’re kinda neck and neck with Joby aviation but I love their valuation compared to Joby’s (RTP). Joby’s valuation is already too high compared to Ehang.
150 liters of water are nothing. A water hose would be better. The water would then be pumped up to the drone. Every big city with high-rise buildings needs 2/3 such fire extinguishing drones, because the high-rise buildings are getting taller and more numerous.
HOT HOT HOT... time to buy this stock..it is traded under symbol EH. This can easily make me tons of money .. it already doubled my money.... Leader of taxi drones technology.. this will be the Tesla of drones.
Looks too inefficient. Loads are too small and water is very heavy for the volumes you need to extinguish fires. If they used a different type of light weight chemical this could be viable. Definitely good search and rescue applications, parcel delivery and private transport perhaps.
EHang 216F can carry up to 150 liters of firefighting foams and 6 fire extinguisher bombs in a single trip. Multiple 216Fs can be deployed to rapidly extinguish the fire.
I'm thinking that in many places in the world, high-rise buildings are required to have sprinkler systems and other fire mitigations more practical than eVTOL. And those building codes are enforced. Therefore, fires of this type are rarely uncontained.
It's because trade war between USA(Trump) and china. Some people in the western world are afraid that chinese will take over the high tech. Cooperation would be best. Volocopter and Kitty Hawk get more attention even they are far behind of EHang
Looks cool but efficiency seems to be bad. That dust or Co2 Rocket/Grenade couldn't even smother that small enclosed fire in the barrel and the water cannon wasn't much faster either.
One of the most famous motivational stories on the entrepreneurial circuit is that of the two salesmen from competing companies who are sent to a foreign country to assess the market for shoes. Salesman One scouts around for a few days and then heads for the telegraph office to contact company headquarters. He writes: "Research complete. Unmitigated disaster. Nobody here wears shoes." Likewise, Salesman Two does his research and heads for the same telegraph office. Once there, he composes the following: "Research complete. Glorious opportunity! Nobody here wears shoes!" The point, of course, is that Salesman Two is the real entrepreneur, the person who sees opportunity where others do not. It's a story designed to motivate us all to find hidden potential, take risks, and turn obstacles into opportunities.
It has applications, fire management may not be optimal, but search and rescue, high rise rescue, parcel delivery, and private taxi are viable applications. Road infrastructure is congested so the skies are the next medium to utilise.
I am so tempted on buying their stock right now
Want to try and wait for a dip.
Currently at ATH's
I hope you did XD
Better buy now! It's a must!
Bought 751 shares @ $26.50 🤞🏼
Terei o orgulho de dizer que fui um dos primeiros brasileiros a investir na e-Hang!

That’s amazing! Ehang is pioneering emergency services drones to make future better for humanity.

I agree, a hose would indeed be better. I just wonder if it would become to heavy, imagine 200meters of hose....
@@jemand8462 There are smaller Fire Fighting Drones with water hose. ruclips.net/video/WFqThcMIN7A/видео.html
Just look for "lightweight water hose".
They will send 20 of these on a fire and get them refilled 1 after the other as they run out of water so the stream never stops
Nice video and music.

Coolest thing ever!
The stability reminds me of that vehicle in Fifth Element
This looks really cool!
Ehang for commercial window washing of skyscrapers!
no. too costly and noisy.. BMUs are good enuf.
Really really cool.. but that fire was tiny lol, plus how much water could this really hold

New video of an old video but it's ok! Guys, after promo, give us some news about TC. Be transparent please
Excellent
It's amazing!
Amazing
Amazing!!
Nice👏
Bring back Ehang Ghostdrone Aerial; v2 with folded arms
If only we had these on 9/11
Solo hay un problema, para apagar una habitación se necesitan más de 10.000 lts. De agua, como los carga y dnd? 😁

Oh wow they actually replied to you lol even more so that it’s in Spanish lmfao, now that’s very good transparency 👍🏼
why didn't the western world think of inventing this? were they sleeping?

Just look for "volocopter"
2016 ruclips.net/video/OazFiIhwAEs/видео.html
Or Lilium: ruclips.net/video/8qotuu8JjQM/видео.html
Volocopter and Lilium comes from Germany. :-)

Ehang go to 1500$ stock !!!
OMG
Aaaaaaaawwwwwsooome
The future looks bright.....and dark?

this is just start
It's foam not water cannon.
중국이대한민국 화재 꺼주냐
싸라
Okay it looks cool. But it won't extinguish more than a george foreman grill on fire.
electric quadcopter ... just more of the same! I don't see any utility, short battery life and increased risk of accidents.
