    Most of people in USA won't be able to use this for several reasons:
    1) Won't ever get approved.
    2) Won't be allowed to land in most private and commercial properties.
    3) We all weight more than 200lbs in here...

      People have to understand that the name "drone" means:A machine remotely controlled,because it would be inadequate to send a manned aircraft for risky situations..
      Even if it is automatically controlled,when there is a person inside and this person could interfere with the flight,it´s not a drone anymore.
      Person inside,not a drone.

    1. Does it have a ballistic parachute?
    2. Does it have 2 totally separate, independent flight systems? Batteries, electrical wires, computer, etc.?
    3. If so, are the two battery packs set up so you can drop either one if necessary in case one catches on fire?
    4. Any fire suppression systems?
    5. What collision avoidance system do you have?

    This is a really excellent video. Hyper-interesting, well-researched and your narration is world-class. My only suggestion is not to call this aircraft a drone, because that would imply it is unmanned. A better term might be "autonomous aerial vehicle", or "autonomous VTOL craft". Something of that nature. All good wishes!

    • @WonderWorldYTC

      it is a drone, it is unmanned, the passenger in it does not fly it, he just goes along for the ride.

    the problem with the drone is that it should electrically self balance itself, so you have to trust your life to electric circuits as it has four motors and a gravity sensor to do that
    while an helicopter is hydraulically commanded by the pilots, thus it is more safer and doesn't need electronic circuits to do self balance as the cabin hangs itself down of the helic so it is normally self balanced just by gravity
    but anyway you can rise the safety of the drone by creating more than one balancing system and when one breaks down it warns you to get to the nearest place to land on
    like having eight motors two for each arm (one above one below), two electric circuits and to battery sets commanded separately by the two ''twin'' systems

    Its going to need to be slightly bigger. Keep pretty much everything just the way it is. 1 seater and 2 seater options. Circle ringed guards around the propellers for 0 human exposure to blades. Needs to atleast be a hybrid engine. 25 minutes of flight is useless. I need that cockpit to be super crash safe. 1-2 parachutes depending on cockpit size. Ima need the option to divert power incase a propeller goes bad. Tinted windows. UV protected. Id LIKE for the legs to collapse inwards after landing and parking for space reasons. If not possible whatever. Needs to be tested for all kinds of weather and high winds. Maybe more luggage room? If not possible understandable. Other than that i think its great. Easy to use. Easy to maintain. Perfect for quick outings or just flying to buisness meetings, the job or even a nice restaurant. Which is why the 2 seater option is essential. This would be a perfect luxury personal 'flying car'. Once all the kinks are worked out and its approved then improve on the design add a bunch of luxury options, ofcourse the price will increase and i can guarantee people every where will crave one. They would be all over the world in major cities like vegas, dubai, tokyo, miami and paris.

    I see many news programs in USA reporting on this self flying taxi service and asking "when will this arrive in USA". They should ask will the FAA ever approve self flying taxi. There are requirements for qualified human pilot to ferry passengers within USA . I think Dubai, Saudi Arabia and China will be first to have this service but if American tourist gets injured or killed they can forget about suing if it is Chinese company and accident happens in China.

    It need propeller guards , easier access to the cockpit, perhaps a hing to lift the entire enclosure instead of doors, twice the weight and lift capacity, it need to be able to carry passenger like football players Nate Newton - 400 pounds guard for the Dallas Cowboys, a significantly greater range 30 miles is not enough, Molokai island to Oahu island is 63 miles so I would set a min distance of 70-100 mile range, so battery capacity would need to be increased by 40-60% and finally it needs the ability to be piloted manually then it would be significantly better, and would have a far better chance of being accepted in american airspace by the FAA

      The world leader in drones since their inception, is the United States. We invented drones, and the vast majority of them are still made in America (though many do have components made in China and elsewhere). This E-Hang drone is really cool though, and potentially revolutionary.

    • @Sovereign_Citizen_LEO
      @Sovereign_Citizen_LEO 5 лет назад

      @Liu Leo - I will have to revisit this comment later to elaborate. But I'm not only talking about consumer drones. I'm speaking of military, scientific, atmospheric, delivery, medical, etc. (all drones in the world). There are 9 drone companies in the SF Bay Area (that I know of), including the one that DJI bought, and that most of DJI drone technology was based upon. Amazon is a drone company for example. So is Boeing. So is Lockheed. There are more than one hundred of them in the United States who are working on, building on, and who pioneered drones of all types (including DJI drones). This is one of those companies my friend worked for a couple years ago: flyzipline.com/ tinyurl.com/y2l973of

    • @Sovereign_Citizen_LEO
      @Sovereign_Citizen_LEO 5 лет назад

      @Liu Leo - I agree. EHANG is just one example of that. A huge amount of products manufactured in the United States, - probably somewhere around 30% to 50%, contain components manufactured in China. From aircraft to electronics (and probably drones), it's just like cell phones manufactured in Shenzhen (the Globalization of individual parts and components from 20 countries or so in a typical iPhone). I'm not minimizing the growth or importance of China at all. I'm simply saying that the U.S. is still relevant, and still a huge player in almost every industry. But yeah, startups appear and disappear here also. Silicon Valley for instance was evolved from that precise thing: Entrepreneurs who start up a company and the company fails, so they start another one. Shenzhen, and probably other cities in China (and elsewhere, like Singapore, Tokyo, Bangalore, Seoul, etc.), are very much the same.

    • @Sovereign_Citizen_LEO
