    I usually don’t make resolutions but this year I resolved to finish my silver transition, to switch from hair products I use to use, and pay more attention to all things related to my complexion…. since I’m noticing with my silver hair coming in that the things I use to use don’t work as well.

      I am at week 14. Last color was September 27,2023. I have a sort of pixie. Originally, I wanted to strip my dark color, but my stylist did a strand test and we couldn’t get it down to silver but rather a mousy blonde, so we decided to just cut, and cut and cut. I’m due next week and i think most brown will be gone.

    I'm not big on New Years resolutions. However, this year, I am focused on keeping my weight up higher than the low 120's and doing more strength training with my dumbells and resistance bands. I learned a valuable lesson in November when I got sick with covid. At 66 years old, I lost enough weight to hit ❤115 lbs. It was a bit scary, and I looked awful. So, it looks like I'm not focused on a low number on a scale anymore. My last home hair dye was June 27, 2023, and at just over 6 months into my grey hair journey, I'm feeling pretty ok with it. I cut my own hair, and it's very long, yet healthy. I am trimming very often and definitely notice it's shorter, lol. You look amazing as usual, Amanda God's blessings and Happy New Year. Oh, P.S. I've always taken care of myself with good nutrition, exercise, skin care, and hair care, too, but without your help I wouldn't have known where to start with grey hair. Thank you. Even on edit, I can't get that red heart out of the comment lol

      oh wow!! I am glad you are on the mend but yes I too think that being too tiny is never a good thing when sickness comes around... has it been 6 months already!! Happy New year to you too!!! xo

    I'm 2 years and nine months gray. I didn't want to cut it and I colored my hair light blonde so not a bad cold turkey. I' ve been cutting it off 1 or 2 inches at a time. I should be done in 3 years ( my hair is a couple of inches below my collar bone). I love it! I have had zero negative feedback. Rock your grey! Thanks for your website ❤

    I don't do new years resolution but, I tend to set achievable goals. This year is getting healthier and possibly cutting my hair short.
    I don't have a massive amount of grey its sparse whereas my friend, who is younger has lots. She's about 75 percent.
    I'm trying to grow out box hair dye, which seems to be taking ages lol.
    Have a wonderful 2024 x

    I wish I had known I was going silver , period .. lol.. my experience was different because I suffered a major neck injury and following that needed surgery. So for 7 months , hardly being to even look in the mirror , I didn’t realize some greys had started to move in . Then after surgery a bunch of my hair fell
    Out n started coming back in gray. Meanwhile I had had baby soft hair all my life so my hair felt so weird to me n I thought it was damaged . So I cut and cut and cut … im and I e fed up with this Bob I hate on me . Now I realize my hair was never damaged , it was the grey mixing in for 7 months without me knowing … it only became obvious when I had 1 inch grey hairs by the thousands , replacing the hair that had fallen out from the stress of surgery . Thank God I figured out my hair is changing texture and not damaged , before I ended up with a pixie cut .

    Happy New Year Amanda 🥳.
    I never set New Year's Resolutions, I wouldn't stick to them/forget about them... I am tho always trying to cut down on sugar - I'm a chocoholic - live for 🍫 😊.
    Have a lovely day.

      @@amandasilversister not doing v well... but I do eat dark chocolate. Isn't it like wine a (glass) square a day keeps the doctor away? 🤔 ☺
      Good luck with dry Jan - do you do it every year?

    Thank you for your video! I have a question, what is the difference in purple shampoo and the yellow one? Greetings from Holland!

    • @amandasilversister
      @amandasilversister  8 месяцев назад

      My understanding is that they are the same thing. The shampoo itself should be purple though as its on the opposite side to yellow on the colour wheel so it will help with any yellowing.... I think it's just the same.
