1. Henry Cavill. Man has the look, definitely has the acting chops for it. And you can never go wrong with a guy who always has a passion to accurately portray the character and will probably know more than anyone else involved. 2. Tom Hardy. Have yet to see him in a role where he wasn't an absolute show stealer. From Warrior, to Lawless, to Peaky Blinders, just to name some of his better known roles, he is magnetic on screen. 3. Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Yeah sure he looks a lil fruity in that picture but I was amazed at his performance as James Douglas in "Outlaw King" where he performed alongside Chris Pine. Fantastically acted role, made me a believer.
Lets not pretend like any new bond film isn't going to be woke. So it doesn't really matter who they pick, its going to have a crappy story and its not going to be even close to the same character.
Tom Hardy, I think, would bring a more roughed up version of the character which I’d love to see. Henry Cavill is the obvious choice because of how perfect he fits the role.
Imagine if they cast Henry Cavil. That would be talked about for weeks on social media, the hype would be stronger than ever for James bond, it would be one of the greatest financial decisions for the studio and common sense-wise. But they won't do it because Hollywood is dumb.
My bets are on Henry Cavill, since he actually was a lead contender before Daniel Craig got the role last time. If he doesn't get it, then, of those listed, I'd go with Idris Elba, even with him saying explicitly that he won't be the guy. Outside of them though, Michael Fassbender would make a good Bond too.
My two picks would be: 1) Jordan Peterson *fatally wounds bad guy, and steps out of the shadows in his half red/half blue suit* "Sorry, but I don't appreciate being called a nazi one bloody bit, eh? And so, how do I respond to that? Well, you'd think I could just be harmless, but a harmless man is not a good man. So I cleaned my damn room and became a monster. A bloody monster." 2) Ben Shapiro *meeting woman secret agent at casino* "Doctor. My wife's a doctor."
Given the context of what they wanna do with the new James Bond film, they wouldn’t choose Henry cavill as James Bond. He’s too bulky and wouldn’t fit the atmosphere they’re tryna get.
I'd personally go with Richard Madden, he's british, he's black haired (yes that is important too alongside being caucasian, sorry blondes and pocs) it has a manly but well meaning appeareance, it's not that old being in his mid thirties and has a good body type for it, while others such as henry cavill are too big for how I see it or like tom hardy have a look that's way too rough for being a quintessential british elegant style icon.
I almost always agree with Knowles, but Idris Elba would make an extremely BA James Bond. To me James Bond just had to be played by a British male with a lot of class, but I really don’t think Bond has to be white.
Really? James Bond is based on a white English character from the books. Also, he’s supposed to be an international agent, where he won’t stand out too much. I’m pretty sure a tall black dude will stand out in many parts of the world, where he’s supposed to be some sort of spy/agent, being able to blend in or charm his way into different countries, cultures etc. It’s more fitting and realistic, for him to be white and will also appeal to an international audience. It’s not always about American acceptance but what brings in money worldwide. I can’t see people in Western Asia, Middle East, China, India and the East in general, crying out for a black Bond. The rest of the world, is NOT woke like America. If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it!
@@HomeTravelGardenInspo generally I think casting characters with completely different looks can be goofy but I think James Bond is not one of those characters. Being a tall black guy wouldn’t stick out if an Idris played Bond went to the US for one of his missions or any African country for that matter whites are represented heavily in media I promise you you’ll still survive if there’s a black James Bond
It’s one of the few traditionally white roles I think would work as a black guy. Initially I like both Idris and Regé-Jean Page. Bond is essentially English and both of those actors are Essentially English. He isn’t a historical figure, but a peak of masculine achievement: suave, charming and capable. Idris might be to serious of an actor to play him but I think both work as well as Hardy or Cavill (who I like a great deal).
Okay my pick is Cavill. I love Idris he would be great-but he is the oldest of all the candidates. So I think no. I wouldn't discount Rege-Jean Page though. He was awesome in The Gray Man!
You can't go wrong with either Cavill or Hardy. I disagree with Knowles' black James Bond take. I don't see why it matters. Elba would have been an amazing James Bond. The new black guy being floated looks too much like a pretty boy. Jason Momoa had the same problem until he got into an accident and got some scars.
Idris Elba can definitely do James Bond for sure, but I'd be super controversial and have the entire cast be all Black as Well... Oscar Isaac is an absolutely phenomenal actor and can and has done english accents many times in his career. He’s one of my favourite actors. That being said, I don’t think he should play Bond. The traditionalist in me wants Bond to be played by a Brit, even if the actor is doing an english accent. That being said, I’d still be happy if he did end up as Bond - he’s fantastic in everything he’s in.

I'm not a sexist, but as long as they make him male and British, I'm cool. Henry cavil obviously
