I love Ib because of how great the characters are... So when (spoilers) I found out that you had to chose the brotherly Garry, or the Girl that just wants to live, Mary, it tore me apart to know that one had to die, or get trapped or whatever... I chose Garry, but it ate me to know that Mary just wanted to live, and that I pretty muched killed her... This is how characters should be built, to leave an impact on you after something major has happened...

This is really interesting....now, if there was any arrangement music sheet for this (or an extended version of this), I think I would recommend an orchestra to play this song X)
Am I mistaken in thinking this? Gary is a self-portrait of Guartena. Ib's mother is the Lady in Red: AKA Guartena's first failed romance. This is why Ib is brought, literally, into the 'mind' of Guartena.
All the ladies were. The Lady in Red was the first, unless I am mistaken. Mary was his childhood crush? And Gary,if he was a painting, was likely his only self portrait. IF Ibs Mother was the lady in red, it explains why they came to visit the art museum. Her famous exe boyfriend arts display? Why not? And it would explain why Ib, and no one else (except maybe gary) entered the painted world, and why no one else can leave without her.

Guertena did have a self portrait in the Fabricated World, named simply "Guertena" It appears at the end of the Cyan Area and is used to get back to the Black Area after its pieces are assembled. This is most likely not Garry, because it does not show all of Guertena unlike"Mary" and Guertena still appears in the painting, while Mary wasn't there when you went the the "Mary" painting. If Garry was a painting, it would most likely be "Forgotten Portrait" And about Ib's mother being the inspiration for "The Lady in Red" explaining why Ib can enter the Fabricated World, that would mean that the Fabricated World is "Smart" in that it can recognize people or relatives of people that were related to Guertena. This implies that The Fabricated World has a mind of its own, or even that Guertena's soul IS the Fabricated World.
For some reason...I like the Ib and garry end the most..But if I was there...I would totally go with marry! As long as Ib and garry can go live somewhere then im cool with being with her! As...long as she don't kill meh. :3
