Thank you for a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ guide to this fantastic synth. You've helped me to get an even better understanding of Bram Bos's latest masterpiece. I like the modular people's happy community.
I bought hilda day one as i do with all of Bram Bos’s app. Really love this one. Also i love your muuhdular people cave 🐄🐮 Now I will go muuh all of my stof and have a lot of fun doing it.
I LOVE Hilda. And your video is as usual super thorough and helpful. What's super fun is using two or more of the touch pads at once. And Hilda in FX slot with a drone on too. Bram really excelled himself here! (Also, sorry about your lack of humour 😵💫 - the MOOdular folk are particularly unfunny🥸)
You had me at “modular” ❤ This app seems to be inspired by the Buchla Easel and Korg Volca Modular, both of which ai like a lot. Gonna go get Hilda now!
I’m actually late finding out this video right now, and I’m also new on iPad stuff. My mind is trying to figure out how to incorporate this in my ableton live sessions, thank you very much for the video!
Loving this new baby by Bram 🤜🏼🤛🏼. Now Braaaam I know I’ve bothered you enough but please make Mozaic 2 with custom UI layouts and “backgrounds” plssss 🥺🥺🥺
Don’t get me wrong haha I do love this synth I’m not using this just as pretext to ask for stuff 🥲. Regardless, I’m quite happy Bram always releases so many cool toys for us to play with 🙏🏼
Good review and insights into yet another fascinating creation from Bram Bos. May the humour be with you. The humour in you is strong. The moodulars are much valued though sometimes lead us into mind boggling complexities (and unavoidable expense) and wondrous things. I'll have to somehow cram Hilda into my over-loaded ipad it seems
Thank you Jakob. Very interesting. Whenever I feel a track is sounding a bit ‘cookie cutter’ I reach for the ID700 auv3, so this is in my area of sound. Thanks for the video.
3:05 Bram, Hilda should come with an overlay lining out the zones as in Jakob’s video here. At least at first sight, I can now see the synth’s structure there so much easier.
If, as I suspect, the name is based on my long time passed Great Aunt Hilda then keep an eye out for follow up products named Gladys, Muriel and Elsie (the rest of my Great Aunts)..
Here’s the reason why I prefer real world objects, they are a lot more consistent in looks, thereby making it easier for the brain to recognize a familiar looking object that you know what it does, in the virtual world, where anything can look as how the developer likes it, it just becomes confusing to the user, therefore making my point very long to explain, this apps design it confusing to me, I don’t recognize anything, based on what I have seen in other apps.
This thing is really 4.2mb? What did bram bos use to code this thing? Occult magic? The blood of elves? Jeez, I can fit it on a floppy disk. Dude's a freaking genius, I don't even know.
Hi mate, just shared this video to a platform called IOSMUSIC RUclips. I don’t know if you are aware of this platform, it was set up by a gentleman called Jamie Malanda. he is a professional bass player, he set this up specifically for iOS. if you know about it, no worries, but if you don’t know about it have a look, you may find it interesting. All the best now…
I am so glad I did not buy this synth ..it warbles and belches it way through existence and to get to anything novel you confront an avalanche of complexity and end up with something like the last creation you did not use 🥴

Thanks for the amazing demo and review Jakob! That 10-instance jam was better than anything I've ever gotten out of it myself! Super awesome stuff!
Thank you Bram! Great job on Hilda. It was love at first sight.
Good to see you around Beam, old avid Hammerhead user here

Great run through … awesome synth! Thanks Jakob. :)
thanks, a guide on this one helps a lot, i got it but haven’t learned it yet
Hi Jakob,
Great video, thank you.
Great video! Hilda is a beast.
Thank you Bro!
Thank you Jakob. Very interesting. Whenever I feel a track is sounding a bit ‘cookie cutter’ I reach for the ID700 auv3, so this is in my area of sound. Thanks for the video.
ID700 is such an amazing synth. The envelope generators in that one gets me giggling every time I use it.
@@JakobHaq You want a four minute long envelope? They have you covered. If you combine that with all the harmonics, oh my.
Brown noise is so called because it is closely associated with Brownian Motion.
It’s a great synth love it’s modular sound
Hi Jakob,
Just an FYI, the bit where you mention the LDR, it is actually a light dependent resistor.
Now that you mentioned it I realised im saying “diode”… ops 😅 I’ll bring it up in a later vid where I talk on a similar subject. 👍
I love the fingerprints and the sound of this synth very unique
So they finally made Ripplemaker 2.0? Im in :)
Great synth!! Fantastic with ZOA.

Id like to earnestly request for a video on SynthQ. please! Begging!❤
Super cool synth
Sounds amazing! What's the app you're using to show the multiple instances at once? Pretty cool!
It’s AUM Audio mixer. 👍
No more synths! But I’ll say this… you must get this one too! Lol
😂
Amazing synth! I wish there were a skin with the different sections separated by group.
Who Did the programming for this Amazing Synth?
WHOA
Reminds me a lot of Volca Modular 🤔
It's because volca modular is also inspired by west coast synthesis
Brilliant video. And funny

I don’t think you can get elves blood where Bram lives. He must have used unicorn saliva. Just as potent!
Maybe a good alternative to S-modular.
Hi, any plans for Hainbach Fluss?
How do I actually sync this with a daw on my computer?
I am a modular people. I also modular
13:05 🤣 🤪 🤣
How do I get the iPad synth to receive a midi clock? That’s a hard stop if I can’t get that
Just load the plugin into any host/DAW that listens to clock and Hilda will sync automatically.
Seems complicated. I’m more hands on though
moooooooooooo
Yea Mooo’s produce tons of Brown noise…!!!
Yay! Brown Moo noise!
