A great video and description of a great synth. I preordered and when it arrived, the first thing I did was start editing straight from the basic sound that it started up with. The interface practically invites you -If you’ve had experience with synthesizers or not, it feels so well laid out and Its depth is so well balanced on the interface. It feels like the synth I’ve been waiting for and the sounds I’ve listened to on some of the presets really feel special. I have been waiting for a go-to synth on the iPad, and this is the first synth that’s felt like it wants to work with me. ButterSynth really describes this synth on a few levels.

It sounds great and has lots of sound design potential. What I don't understand is the obsession with tiny knobs, shadows, and the whole skeuomorphic approach. Why not design it to make use of the touch interface? I have more synths than I really need, but the ones I end up using are the ones with a well-thought-out UI.
Right now, I don't see the point in buying yet another synth if it doesn't bring something new or interesting UI-wise.
