- Tesla announced Monday it’s cutting more than 10,000 jobs. The Bay Area automaker said that within the last couple of months, it’s seen fewer than expected deliveries, a falling stock price, and mounting complaints about its new cybertruck. Scott Budman reports.

glad i sold most of my tesla a month ago and put it all in AI stocks. I've been a long time tesla holder (11 years) and the last straw was him demanding money from tesla or else he wont share his ideas anymore.

Tesla has just invited the UAW to Texas following massive layoffs. This marks Tesla's biggest blunder in its history, as they failed to establish their own workers' union that would benefit the company. Now, all Tesla workers may have second thoughts about voting for the UAW. The primary reason for bringing in the UAW is that when a worker is laid off, they have priority for recall before a new worker can be hired. I have been preaching that sooner or later the UNION will be voted in.

Workers today have the wrong impression about work and need to rethink their work ethic. First of all there is no such thing as an average worker, average is a mathematical point in the middle where half the people are "Above Average" and the other half is "Below Average", as an employee you need to strive to be in the "Above Average" half and things will work out OK, the Below Average" half will find slower job growth opportunities, fall behind on income, and will always be on the losing end of layoff's. You don't need to be the best, just look around and figure out which half you want to be part of.

This is not new. Tesla, just like Amazon, has a reputation for laying off large swaths of its workforce with little or no warning.

Outside of CA, the EV market has collapsed so Tesla will likely go out of business in the next year or so. It doesn't help when virtually all EV buyers are politically liberal while the CEO has gone full maga. The few EV buyers left out there will reject Teslas because of that.
