  • The Renault Kadjar is a great value used crossover SUV. In this CarGurus UK Used Car Review, Dan Prosser points out the Kadjar's many strong points such as its flexible interior and excellent fuel economy, as well as highlighting any common problems to be aware of.
    Written review:
    www.cargurus.co.uk/research/R...
    Pros
Keenly priced as a used car
    Spacious and practical interior
    Excellent fuel economy
    Cons
    Dull to drive
    Bland interior design
    Infotainment system is too fiddly
    The CarGurus verdict
If you’re looking for a spacious, functional and - for the most part - reliable family car that shouldn’t cost the earth to run, the Kadjar is a sensible choice. True, its slightly dour interior won’t lift your spirits, and neither will the driving experience. But given the Kadjar’s tempting value, you might just be willing to live with those downsides.

Always liked the Kadjar , looks great from every angle , when it came out some reviews said it was the best car in its class. Amazing how efficient that 1.5 diesel is , no doubt at the expense of decent performance. Good to know how reliable it is , with just a few minor electrical issues , there are many available now for less than 10k , which is a great price for such a practical family car !

I did not get what is the difference between new and used and this video, by the title, should be about USED Kadjar. What breaks down, what wears off, what is bad after xxxx kilometers, do turbo needs a major service when disks are to be replaced, is there an oil leak from the gearbox, what changes after xxxx kilometers... and tons of other things that does matter.

Very informative. From my own point of view , as I always look to buy a car that is a few years old , I think it is very important to research serious reliability issues. I have heard there have been some transmission problems with the Kadjar. From your review it seems they have bee confined to the cvt auto. Otherwise it looks like a good used buy. Just like to say I found your review gave me the the info I needed and was well presented.

I have a 2016 model 1.5 lt diesel Kadjar. Looks good, road tax zero, does average 52 mpg in city. The problem is dpf filter problems. Nobody seems to know how to solve it. Recently it started giving message like" check stop-start", " check injection". It also started to lose power on straight road on third or fourth gear.

Nope, French sh*tbox. I know plenty of people buy these cars, people who have no interest in driving or quality or reliability or cars in general and good luck to them, I'm not judging them and wish them luck and deep pockets 😬

I have been sleeping in this car when I am travelling around Scotland and Europe for over two years, never fails me" nice to drive, the fuel consumption is great. I had a roof box for more space to keep stuff. You can sleep easily, got a nice double inflatable matress at gooutdoors and all done. Happy with my Kadjar 2019. I will probably change it for the Austral in two years time, I am not in a rush, this car is great!
