I stop watching the video coz ur talking too much about mint and the sim something not related to your content..
Another tips you may also want to try for increasing battery life is:
1.Go to setting> connections: disable UWB if you don't need it.
2. disable also NFC especially if u are at home.
3. disable 5G also needless if you are at home imo 2G or 3G it's more than enough for calls, and while at home use Wifi for internet acces.
4.Go to other connection option, that's the last menu option at the bottom, Disable search/scanning for nearby devices.
5.Go to settings>scroll down to google>Devices>nearby share.
switch it off, so your phone doesn't necessarily keep scanning for other devices. Also tap on the option devices, (3rd menu option)
toggle off look for other nearby devices.
Besides all off this you can also set up routines like:
When im going to sleep:
1.Switch on power saving mode, turn down refresh rate at 60HZ
switch GPS off, keep only 2G active, also good for SAR value, and extra dim down the screen.

I use the S23 Ultra with the battery in light mode and can honestly say it it the best performing Samsung batterywise that I have owned.
I also use light mode which is probably why this keyboard bug didn't hurt me

On the battery section there's 2 options light and standard mode.. You choose light mode because it's standard by default..

I've been impressed with the battery life on my S23 Ultra 512GB. I don't really do any gaming as such, but I can get two full days of use with about five to six hours of screen on time, with some RUclips and some mobile hotspot thrown in. At the end of the two days I had 13% battery left. I also take a couple of minutes each day to do my Play Store and Galaxy App Store updates.

@Daniel Richardson I would say no for most people. I tend to buy a flagship every four years, so for me, the extra storage is worthwhile. It's worth remembering that you can offload excess pictures or movies to external storage. EDIT: Or the cloud!
My s23 ultra battery is not that sufficient. I don't get that much backup as it's been almost a month. What might be the problem please help. Also I m using all my setting in light mode from screen resolution to always on display.
For a new phone is normal to have good specifics. Nowadays everything that's being made, doesn't matter if it's a phone or other product, it stays working properly till the guarantee is on. When the guarantee is no longer, the problems start. Shitty world we live into, developing crappy techs, making money out of us every 1/2/3 years.
I know everyone is very happy with their battery life but seriously I was told by a tech to never completely drain it because it's a strain to get it back up t 100% from 10%. Some folks may not like this but if you want to enjoy your battery longer use a slow charger from time to time and let it charge overnight. Me, no matter how many fast chargers they bring out I use the 25w, never higher. If you change your phone every year,,,,good for you....this is for the people who want to keep it till it falls apart 😂
I would gladly accept a heavier S23 Ultra with a Lifepo4 battery. It will never happen, not because of the minor weight gain... Samsung or in fact, any company wants a battery that will see you through ten years.
I have a very interesting yet debatable topic that you could talk about Jeff.
What would be the best scenario to prolong the battery health ? Is it charging it to 85% ( knowing that it drains faster , so you will have more frequent charge cycles ) or is it charging the phone to 100% ( which drains alot less quick and thus fewer charge cycles , but has the disadvantage of worse effect on battery in terms of ion change in the last 90-100% ) . I did alot of research and couldn't find any forum or video talking about it

Yeah. When I heard the news and I limited it to 85% I noticed it drained faster. The question is really valid and intriguing!
That is why you have the option to charge to 85%, and it is not turned on by default. If you charge to 100% all the time, you will have shorter battery life than charge to 85% after few years. In these Lithium batteries, do not charge to 100% and do not go lower than about 25%, because those are two type of stress for the battery. This is the characteristic of the Lithium battery. You can search this science online. Note: if you care about resell value for expensive phone like S series don't charge to 100%, otherwise if it is a cheap phone, you buy a new one in a few years, don't mind the battery degrade faster.
I don't think 15% less battery is a big difference if you don't play games often. If play games often, even 100% will discharge faster than on 85% not playing games. Whether or not you turn on 85% depends on your plan to use the phone and resell value.

I'm just super pissed that i spent so much money and have the same phone as everyone else and yet...no matter what i do...I still don't get good battery life. I feel so cheated.

I use Gboard, but I recently noticed high battery usage from Samsung Keyboard despite not even using it. And when I looked at the details for the app, I noticed that it had swollen to over 5GB in storage 😮

I have a strange problem on my Samsung A14, that battery drops 10% per day EVEN with maximal energy saving options and the phone is not touched once the whole time.
Didn't notice a battery drain tbh.....that's on my S 21 Ultra, I did a partition wipe as always after that update and i did notice some camera improvements on my phone as well.

@Avit Ferdiansyah yes, I can boot into recovery mode but will I need the firmware of I choose to wipe the partition or if I do that and then boot back into recovery mode will that allow me to choose to reinstall the OS?

I want to also talk about battery drain issues of s23 ultra ever since I bought it. It may be better than s22 ultra but still quite far from iphones. I have noticed that the battery drain is quite inconsistent in s23 ultra. After I pick up the phone from charging after whole night on charge, it discharge quite fast from 100 to 90 and also 90 to 80. Only after goi g below 80 it stabalizes. Im not sure what the problem is with Samsung battery management but they have to still work a lot on battery optimization. I have done all display related changes, managed notifications and location services. Put many Apps to sleep but no use. Even the light profile or low power mode doesn't make any difference. Its same with or without turning them on or off. I hope Samsung gets some sense and optimizes battery of their flag ship device.

@@jspring86 I have shifted to Samsung from iphone after 3 years and I find battery management not very efficient in Samsung. They are very good in packing tons of customizations which is a pleasent change coming from boring and restricted ios but to me battery and power management is of utmost importance.
My battery been A1 since day 1. Battery on my s23 ultra is a monster !

Yeah my battery is draining while it's charging. Even in power save mode and won't charge when powered off. The phone recognizes that there is a cable plugged in (I've used several different ones) and still won't charge
I also use always SwiftKey and generally speaking, my battery life has been impressive. But I've now restricted my Samsung keyboard's battery use and see if that brings even more benefits.

@@SheerMayhem if you're not using the keyboard, go to Settings, Apps, find Samsung Keyboard, go into the Battery section and choose Restricted. Then force stop the app.

My Note 20 Ultra had amazing battery life until the ONE UI update. It is pitiful now, even with the Samsung keyboard fix. This is so disheartening. I would go 2-3 days before needing to recharge before the update. Phone does seem to get a bit warmer while charging.

Hi i have had my s23 ultra for a month and battery has been great up to now,yesterday i used the power off menu to restart the phone which i have never done before but online says to do occaisionaly for maintenance but this has now made my battery drain much faster,any idea why this has happened please anyone?

I've notice battery drain after the April update & blurry 100x zoom. My 100x zoom was useful not anymore.
I'll definitely check into the zoom maybe there's a bug there too!!
make sure to fully charge(100%) your phone a couple of times before using the protective battery so the AI for battery can fully analyze your daily pattern

I got a s23 base. Was getting a getting 6h sot. Heavy use. Then needed to do a factory reset. In the battery learning I let the battery fully charge and discharge. But a load of apps to deep sleep. Now I'm getting around 8h sot. It's insane for such a small companct phone and battery.

@@danialirfan9645 learn the oneui. Learn how to tweak settings. It makes a big difference. Standard performance profile and 50% brightness slider on 5g I get 7.5 to 8.5 SOT.

I don't use the Samsung keyboard, I use Gboard and I recommend everyone to switch to Gboard . Much better & convenient.

My s22 plus gives 4.5 to 5.5 hrs with dual sim always on 4g 80% out doors max brightness gaming studying for my pg exams this with 35 to 40 degree c outside temp if i use less it has 20 % left with 4 plus hrs sot lol andi raley use dark mode lol

No issues with my S22 Ultra.
My battery actually got better after the 1ui 5.0 update. I run Bluetooth 24/7 connected to my speakers & Watch 5 Pro, QHD set, watching vids & movies, etc.
I've Been using 6hrs now & I'm down to 94% battery life left. Only used 6% so I'm good. I haven't gotten the April Update yet.

@Jose Sanchez I'm replying to Mike Hog A Nator. He said battery dropped 6% after he has been using it for 6 hours. I'm saying that that was unreal. No way 6 hours' use and only dropped 6%. That's why I said, it must be the total screen off and on time together, and maybe he used it for like 5 minutes, and then the rest was just screen off time. How can 6 hours screen on time just use 6%?
