Aww thank you! You will! Once you get use to nursing, pumping will become natural also. It's the first few weeks that you have to get over than its second nature! Good luck!!
Aww thank you Dana!! Glad to hear that you are nursing and pumping! Keep it up and stock up on that supply!! It will definitely come in handy and be a life saver down the road! Happy Nursing and Pumping!!
Amazing amount of milk. Good technique, excepting the touch of the inside of the sterilized bag with the fingers - producers mentione it is not recommended.
Since you are nursing when do you get to use the stored milk other than going out or other people feeding ?? Would you recommend storage pumping for stay at home moms ??
Hi BriAysha, I use my stored milk when others wants to feed her or when she goes to daycare (once a week). I am a stay at home mom and would highly recommend pumping and storing your milk. My baby is one years old and my stored milk is almost completely gone. I recently thought about pumping again so I can have more milk on hand as I plan to continue to nurse until she is 1 1/2 years old.
Great video! I am due in a month and this is my third child but I haven't had much success with my other children breastfeeding and am determined to make it work this time. I would like to be able to pump and nurse as well and was wondering when you started to pump in addition to nursing? Was it from the very beginning or did you wait until the first week or so passed?
Thank you!! Congratulation on your third child!! I started nursing and pumping as soon as my milk became available. I would nurse first then pump right after to empty my boobs. I found this to be the most effective in my increase milk supply. When the boob is empty, it signals to the brain that more milk need to be produced in order to feed the baby. So I would suggest nursing then pumping as much as possible. I currently nurse and pump maybe twice or three times a month. Good luck with everything! Let me know how you do!
I started to pump when my DD was 2 days old, like you :) (yeah bcs i've to work after she's 2,5months) so i've to work hard, bfr later we never knew if my BM will depleting or no... and i do nurse her by myself too, well its hard to pump and still nurse the baby by yourself, but i do enjoy it! Its really great to see your producing so much milk! Maybe you can donate it for someone who needs it :) (if you're not planning to work later, unlike me :) )
That's great you started pumping so soon!! That is going to help with your milk supply especially if you empty your breast each time. Your breastmilk will not go away as long as you continue pumping and nursing. It will stop when you stop both of those. Skin-to-skin while nursing will always help you produce more milk. That is great you are enjoying it as this is the BEST for the baby. I wasn't able to donate mine as I used all of it. I went back to work and this supply really came in handy as I did not want to give my baby formula. I stopped nursing when she was 13 months old.
I dont even get close to the amount you have help!!! I feel like my baby isn't getting a lot of milk I nurse her when ever she wants I pump as well but still dont get enough I feel like I eat lactation cookies I also take fenugreek pills some days I get more milk but never more then 3 oz my Lil baby is 3 weeks did you always produce that much milk from day one?
I started pumping once my milk came in. I pumped for a full month and was able to get enough to last a year. I nursed until my baby was 13 months. I would suggest do a lot of skin-to-skin and drinking water. Continue to nurse baby as they are able to pull the milk down. Try massaging your breast. That should help also.
My milk consultant told me to wait 4 weeks before starting to pump. Now all i have enough for is nursing my baby and then I cant even pump because theres nothing left.
I laid my bags flats for storage purposes. You can get way more in the freezer if you lay them flat down. Also, when you go to thaw the bags out I found it to be easier.
I used the double Medela Pump. I also purchased the single medela hand pump from target to use when I was not near an outlet. Both products worked great but I found the best results with the double pump.
Oh Michele you are on it!! I have one too but found I only used it about 2 times. I guess its good to have if you other things to do with your hands while pumping.
Hi Maylene, thank you! I would suggest drinking lots of water, doing skin to skin, nursing and pumping as much as possible. Try it for a week consistently and see if it helps! Good luck
Hi my baby is going to be 2 months in 2 days and I just started pumping today . I want to get her used to the bottle so when I get back to work or I'm not around my child can be fed. I'm not sure if I'm going to work anytime soon due to me breastfeeding, I have so many questions and concerns that I still need to speak to my boss about Like being able to pump at work be 8 hr shift is a long time without breastfeeding..anyways off topic sorry my question for you is , after pumping do I have to refrigerate/freeze it right away or can it stay out at room temperature? I thought I heard you say 6 hours ?
Hi Angie! Congratulations on that bundle of joy! Sorry I am late responding my kids are sick :-(. But I wouldn't introduce the bottle just yet. Wait until you are getting ready to go back to work. Speak with your pediatrician as that's just my thoughts/suggestions and I am no specialist. Good luck with all the questions you have to ask your boss. I know someone employers have areas where moms can go pump. You should pump every 2 hours... at work or at home to keep it consistent. After you pump you can leave it out if you think you are going to use it. Freshly pumped milk can sit out for 6 hours. However, I did not use mine ofter so I would refrigerate mine within a few hours. Before it reached the max number of days staying in the fridge I froze the bags and plus I did not have many milk storage bottles. Hope this helps and please let me know if you have other questions.
Hi watching in 2018 is this information for storing still ok to follow and how long can thawed out milk be used. For example with the amount your able to produce for one bag would you use that one bag entirely or if there were an ounce left would you save it in the fridge or have to dump it xx
Hi Nyrovi, yes this information is still good to follow. Once you thaw out the milk it should be only be kept for a max of 24 hours in the refrigerator. Personally, if the milk wasn't used in 2 feeding I would dump it. But again that was jut what I did. Whatever you do, do not refreeze it. Hope this helps and sorry for the late response. Been sick :-(
You can store in bottles when you first pump and storing them in the fridge. However, when you transport them to the freezer you need the bags so they don’t burst.
My son doesn’t latch on the nipple.. so I just pump to give him breast milk in bottle. But if I’m going to pump all the time where should I store his milk? Mainly deep freezer or fridge?...
Hi Samantha, have you tried a nipple shield? My son didn't latch either but the nipple shield was a life saver. Since he is drinking the bottles right away I will store in the fridge for the 4-5 days then transfer the bags to the freezer to ensure the milk doesn't go bad. But I am not a professional, this is just what I did that worked and my babies were fine.
Victoria Fenton-hoolahan I usually pump every 2/3 hours depending on how my breast feel. Yes, I latch first then pump because my boobs still be full and I need to empty them to keep my milk supply high. Thanks for your comment!
Congratulations Jessica! Sorry I am so late in responding my kids are sick :-(. The date is from the date that I pumped not stored in the freezer. On the bottle set I had I was able to select the day (Monday, Tuesday, etc) and just matched that with the calendar date. I hope this helps.
This may be a dumb question, but how do you feed the baby the frozen breast milk? Is there a special bottle for the bags or do you just thaw it out, warm it up and pour it in a little bottle? I'm a stay at home mom and didn't get to breast feed my daughter and that was 10 years ago! I'm due in September, so I'm looking up as much info as possible and was wondering that because I feel like I know zero things about newborns after so long lol. I want to breast feed my little boy, but also have a small supply for later on or just in case and if my small freezer gets too full and I'm blessed enough to make more than what I need, I'll donate it to a mom in need. I'm mainly wanting to build a milk stash because I'm afraid my milk is gonna go away or I won't produce enough or for when my husband wants to feed the baby too or to take bags/bottles prepared with me cause I'm afraid I won't want to breast feed in public for some reason, so I won't have to rely on formula or make my baby wait when he has to eat. It's as if it's all new to me all over again
Hi there, there’s no such thing as a dumb question! There are two ways you can thaw the frozen bag of breast milk- 1. Let it sit in the fridge until it thaws on its own or 2. Place it in a bowl of hot water until it thaws. I always used option 2 and would keep the water running until it was just about thawed out. It doesn’t take long at all. After you thaw it out transfer the milk to a bottle of your choice. Throw the bag out once finish as they are not reusable. You are doing the right thing by researching now so you can be well prepared when that bundle of joy arrives in September. That’s nice you considering donating your milk to someone in need! I completely understand your reasoning of wanting to pump and store milk. It’s smart of you to think about all this now. I wouldn’t worry so much about your milk supply. You have no idea what your supply will be like when it comes in. Less stress equals MORE MILK!! I have a video on how I was able to pump a years’ worth of milk in just one month after my baby was born. I literally blew myself away with the results as I was not trying to pump that much it just happened. I am including the video below. I never breastfed in public either, well I would go to my car if needed. But good luck with everything and praying for a smooth delivery. Don’t hesitate to ask me any other questions you might have. My goal is to help if I can based off my own experience as I am no professional. ruclips.net/user/edit?o=U&video_id=8pLcK4s9NbA
No, I do not wash the bags out before pouring my milk in. Each bag is shut tight so you have to open each bag by pulling the strap off and unsnapping the inside. Its pretty secure.
Hi Rebekah, I knew it was time for my milk to be placed in the freezer because you are only allowed to keep milk in the back of the fridge for a max of 6 days. I never waited the full 6 days to place it in the freezer out of fear of it going bad. I would transfer it to the freezer every 3-4 days. Because I was pumping daily and so much I only kept one bottle stored in the fridge at a given time so my husband can feed the baby. Does this answer your question?
OK, I'm tying my best I give her everything that comes so I think I was also told to pump after I nurse her ams when I do so nothing comes out not even half an oz😩 the only thing I dont really do to much is skin to skin but I will do more now...I drink so much water I feel like I'm a fish lol.... I go through a 32 case in a day and a half
Yes Adriean, that is correct. Nurse and pump right after. Even if nothing comes out still pump for about 10 minutes. When you completely empty your breast they will start to fill-up. Well I shouldn't say that because everyone is different. But for me that was how I was able to produce so much in such a short period of time. Try the skin-to-skin. That is great you drink a lot of water!!
This was my routine every 2 days because my supply so much!! So once my milk came in (a few days after baby is born) I would nurse baby from my breast and pump right after until I was empty. Sometime I would have to pump without feeding because it was too much and making my breast hurt.
Thank you! I mainly used the Medela Pump in style advanced. When I was on the go without outlets, I used the Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump. The one I found to be the most effective is the double style advanced pump. Great results each time. The manual one was good also with a great comfortable sucker of the breast. I was able to get a lot from the manual on the go as well. Hope this helps.
Oh of course! Use whatever you have. I have went through so many different brand that I was going to make a video on which ones I personally had the most trouble using.
I pumped every 2-3 hours ranging anywhere from 8-12 oz each session. My baby is 19 months old and I stopped nursing when she was 13 months. Hope this helps
I worried about that also with my first pregnancy. However, the lactation expert at the hospital told me that was not possible and the baby will be able to pull the milk out even after pumping. I was relieved but still did what I felt most comfortable with which was nursing first than pumping. I would pump right after nursing to empty the breast and this in turn helped increase my supply. Hope this helps
How was your first breast feed after giving birth? Was there enough milk in the beginning? How can you tell if you're producing enough milk the first couple of days after giving birth? And also what will happen if you're super busy and can't pump or feed? Will the milk just stay in until you can start to pump or feed? Sorry for all the questions but you seem like the perfect person to ask. Thanks for sharing this video.
Hi Shamikah, and thank you for your questions!! My first time nursing after birth was challenging because it was a new feeling and I found it to be painful!! But as time went on I got use to the pain until it became painless. Some of my pain was due to incorrect latching. I quickly learned that if the baby was latched properly the pain was minimum. According the lactation specialist, they stated that your body will always produce enough milk for the baby, even when its first born. Its a supply and demand effect. The more you nurse your baby or pump, the more milk your body will produce. To answer your questions, I could not tell but again when I nursed and the latch was correct the baby was satisfied-no crying and went to sleep. If you do not pump or nurse your breast will get SUPER hard!!! I found that to be more painful than nursing. You will get duck milks-very painful- and they are hard to get out. But if you have no intentions of nursing the milk will dry up and you will only have the pains for a few days to a week. Hope that helped. Are you nursing?
Tabitha Kay I'm not nursing but Right now I am about 14 weeks pregnant and I wasn't successful with my first born. My son was rushed to the hospital because when I tried nursing I was bleeding on my nipple and he ended up drinking some of my blood. His fever was 103 and It really made me feel like the worst mom ever and I also had postpartum depression. This 2nd time around I hope to try again and I'm taking in as much info as I can from as much people possible. I realizing now that latching improperly caused the bleeding. And I noticed my milk dried up real fast.
I've learned that every baby is different. I would definitely give it another try and take what you learned from your first experience. So sorry to hear about your son. Glad he was ok but that happens and it was not your fault. Improper latching causes serious damage and pain but the lactation experts are a big help in that area. Postpartum depression is serious and can play with your mind but don't worry about that you are a great mom for even WANTING to breastfeed! That's a big dedication and a lot of hard work! Let me know if you have any more questions. I am no experts! I can only tell you from my own personal experience.
Hi Ashley, sorry for the delayed response. I pump daily and once my fridge was over packed I would put the milk in bags and place them in my freezer to make more room. I would have to do this every 3-4 days because my milk was insane. Hope this helped.
my problem was that my baby didn't want to breastfeed :( she just didn't know how to do it. and took me a week to finally get her latch. I could exclusively breastfeed when she was 3 months old. so it was a lot of work and it just lasted 1 month. I'm still breastfeeding she is 1 year old but it has been tough
Latching is be very difficult! I know for me my first child was hard to breastfeed due to latching problems so I purchased the shield and was good from there. I am glad she was able to latch and that you are still nursing!! My baby just turned 14 months and I stopped nursing her at 13 months. My supply really came in hand when I went back to work! Happy Nursing!!
Why do you store milk? Probably a silly question but i plan on breastfeeding and i think having supply is a good idea but i still dont get the concept. Like if i breastfeed directly from boob and storing supply. When will i use the supply? Is it for future purposes for when u plan to stop breastfeeding?
Hi Kutrenuh! I stored milk in case I went back to work(did not happen) and in case of emergencies. It last for a year in a deep freezer. For example, when I want to go out and can't physically nurse those stored bags of milk comes into play. I just grab one, two or however many I need and take them with me. When ready to use place in hot water and BAM!! Ready to be served! lol... By the way, my baby just turned 10 months and I still nurse and use my stored bags. Does this help?
This is super helpful, i am currently 29 weeks and i am set on breast feeding, i already have leaks, and my boobs get rock hard! Hopefully i will produce as much as you so i can donate!
Congratulations on your pregnancy Kim!! YAYA to breastfeeding! It really is the best option out there! People always say how calm and smart my kids are and swear it had to do with me nursing them... I don't know how true that is (lol). If you are already leaking you should try pumping. Don't let your boobs get rock hard! First its super uncomfortable, second, that will single that your body is producing too much milk. You don't want your milk to dry up already. When my milk finally came in, I pumped, pumped and pumped some more!! I didn't want to let nothing go to waste. If you already have your pump try it to see what you get. Good luck with everything
I did! So to thaw my milk out once I take it out the freezer I fill a bowl up with HOT water and sit the package of milk in that bowl until it has completely thawed out. I check the bowl of water to ensure that the milk is thawing and not leaking out of the pouch and that the water is still hot. If the water is not hot, I add more hot water and let it sit. Transfer the milk to a bottle and check it on the inside of your wrist before giving it to the baby. Does this answer your question?
You're very welcome Meagan!! Yes, once your milk come in PUMP NURSE PUMP NURSE!!! Be sure to do skin-to-skin as well. I have another video that give tips to producing a nice amount of milk. I stand by this as I was able to pump a year supply in 1 full month. Nursing is the BEST!!! Let me know if you have more questions or if you would like to see other videos.
Aww Cynthia you can do it!! When pumping be sure to completely empty out your breast! Try and pump every 2-3 hours. Even if nothing comes out leave them hook up to the breast pump! I am thinking about making a follow-up video to this one as I have gotten a lot of questions about this video.
My baby is a month I rarely pump just 1or 2 a day & get atleast 3oz from both breast together . I want to get my milk supply up like that . Any suggestions
Have you tried skin to skin to increase your milk? Are you drinking a lot of water? If not, I would highly recommend that. Continue pumping as this increase the milk supply as well. 1. Skin to skin 2. Drink water 3. Pump, pump and more pump 4. Feed from breast then pump after to empty the breast out Hope this helps!
Icys W Hey look up on RUclips “how to make Avena” That helped me a lot with my milk supply I first didn’t have any milk and then I drank that and the next day my boobs were full
Do you know how long we have or if you can go from fridge to freezer without compromising the milk? Example : Freshly pumped milk gets placed in storage bag and then goes into fridge , then from the fridge goes into the freezer.
Hi Alexandra, this is how I based mine Freshly pumped- good for 6 hours, Fridge- stored for 5 days but I transferred to storage bags to freezer within in 3 days. 5 days is the max and Deep freezer- 12 months. Does that answer your question
Oh yes sorry I put the date and the oz on the package before freezing. I thought you could see the oz written on each package. My fault for not mentioning that. You are correct, oz is important. Thanks!!
that is good that you still breast feed. the physical contact is so cruisal to the baby's brain development for the first three years of life. if they don't have that type of touch it can really damage the brain. the reason I know about this is because when I was a little girl I was put in an Romanian orphanage to the day of birth I did not get that type of touch I was sick too. I had a whole in my heart the government of Romania would not let birth mom keep me. but now I'm in a loving LDS family that loves and cares about me.
Well.... thats what they say. I am not sure. You probably want to check with you doctor for an answer on the length of time you can keep milk in a regular freezer.
I started nursing as soon as my baby was born, before my actual milk came in. When my milk finally fully came in I was diligent in nursing, pumping and doing skin-to-skin sessions with my newborn. I also believe that water played a major part in my milk supply also. Hope this helps. If you have more questions, please leave them below. Thanks
Lotabuti basically putting your baby on your skin ( baby in diaper..no diaper if you are brave 😁 and you topless or in a bra. Hold baby close to you it will stimulate milk production and am amazing bonding and cuddle session
Thank you for posting! Im pregnant with my first baby and I plan on breast feeding. Your video is very helpful.
Aww congratulations Briana!!! This is an exciting time. I am glad you found this video helpful!!
Wow you're strong girl! You pump and nurse! I aim to be as strongwilled as you.
Aww thank you! You will! Once you get use to nursing, pumping will become natural also. It's the first few weeks that you have to get over than its second nature! Good luck!!
Tabitha Kay when did u do house work
I am IN AWE of your milk supply! Go mama GO! I am currently oumping and nursing but babe lip and tongue ties and i am building my supply up now
Aww thank you Dana!! Glad to hear that you are nursing and pumping! Keep it up and stock up on that supply!! It will definitely come in handy and be a life saver down the road! Happy Nursing and Pumping!!
Use your flange to pour. It makes it super easy and less likely to spill.
Thank you Bryanna for the tip!!

Aww so glad to hear!! Let me know if you have any questions would be glad to answer them.
Was this produced in one session? If so this is goals!
Hi Samantha!! No not one session. This was over 3 days if I'm not mistaken
Also is there a certain way u should lay the storage bags in the freezer? I notice u lay them down flat,
I laid my bags flats for storage purposes. You can get way more in the freezer if you lay them flat down. Also, when you go to thaw the bags out I found it to be easier.
Do you use only manual pump, or a machine? I have an ameda machine, but i keep the manual in my diaoer bag for backup
I used the double Medela Pump. I also purchased the single medela hand pump from target to use when I was not near an outlet. Both products worked great but I found the best results with the double pump.
Tabitha Kay i even bought a pumping bra to help me be hands free. pump both breasts at once.. saves me time!
Oh Michele you are on it!! I have one too but found I only used it about 2 times. I guess its good to have if you other things to do with your hands while pumping.
I am truly amazed by how much you produce that liquid gold. Any tips on how to increase my milk supply too? I only produce around 3 to 4 oz 😢
Hi Maylene, thank you! I would suggest drinking lots of water, doing skin to skin, nursing and pumping as much as possible. Try it for a week consistently and see if it helps! Good luck

Thx for sharing this video. It has been helpful.
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful.
What’s the diff between storing them in the bottles vs the bags?
You can store in bottles when you first pump and storing them in the fridge. However, when you transport them to the freezer you need the bags so they don’t burst.

Thank you so much!
how long do you pump for? also you latch first then do you pump straight after

Tabitha Kay for how long are your pumping session?
Great explanation!
This will be my first time breast feeding, How do you come up with the date?? Is it the date that you pumped or the date the you should use it by???
Congratulations Jessica! Sorry I am so late in responding my kids are sick :-(. The date is from the date that I pumped not stored in the freezer. On the bottle set I had I was able to select the day (Monday, Tuesday, etc) and just matched that with the calendar date. I hope this helps.
Yes it helped a lot, thank you 😊
What’s the longest you stored the milk was the quality still good?
I stored my milk in my deep freezer for 12 months. Once thawed out I gave it to my kid and experienced no issues.
This may be a dumb question, but how do you feed the baby the frozen breast milk? Is there a special bottle for the bags or do you just thaw it out, warm it up and pour it in a little bottle? I want to breast feed my little boy, but also have a small supply for later on or just in case and if my small freezer gets too full and I'm blessed enough to make more than what I need, I'll donate it to a mom in need. I'm mainly wanting to build a milk stash because I'm afraid my milk is gonna go away or I won't produce enough or for when my husband wants to feed the baby too or to take bags/bottles prepared with me cause I'm afraid I won't want to breast feed in public for some reason, so I won't have to rely on formula or make my baby wait when he has to eat. It's as if it's all new to me all over again
Hi there, there’s no such
thing as a dumb question! There are two ways you can thaw the frozen bag of
breast milk- 1. Let it sit in the fridge until it thaws on its own or 2. Place it
in a bowl of hot water until it thaws. I always used option 2 and would keep
the water running until it was just about thawed out. It doesn’t take long at
all. After you thaw it out transfer the milk to a bottle of your choice. Throw
the bag out once finish as they are not reusable. You are doing the right thing
by researching now so you can be well prepared when that bundle of joy arrives
in September. That’s nice you considering donating your milk to someone in
need! I completely understand your reasoning of wanting to pump and store milk.
It’s smart of you to think about all this now. I wouldn’t worry so much about
your milk supply. You have no idea what your supply will be like when it comes
in. Less stress equals MORE MILK!! I have a video on how I was able to pump a years’
worth of milk in just one month after my baby was born. I literally blew myself
away with the results as I was not trying to pump that much it just happened. I
am including the video below. I never breastfed in public either, well I would
go to my car if needed. But good luck with everything and praying for a smooth
delivery. Don’t hesitate to ask me any other questions you might have. My goal
is to help if I can based off my own experience as I am no professional.

Did u pump a milk fully in just oneday in 1bottle?? I Can't full 1 bottle it's not enough I pump from my breast..
I'm wondering if you washed the bags before you pour the milk inside of them ? Or is it not necessary
No, I do not wash the bags out before pouring my milk in. Each bag is shut tight so you have to open each bag by pulling the strap off and unsnapping the inside. Its pretty secure.
They are sterile bags no need to wash as the water would probably cause bacteria
So are the bags reusable or you get rid of them once used .And my baby is 3months now should I still do skin to skin
How do you know how much to freeze and how much to keep in the refrigerator?
Hi Rebekah, I knew it was time for my milk to be placed in the freezer because you are only allowed to keep milk in the back of the fridge for a max of 6 days. I never waited the full 6 days to place it in the freezer out of fear of it going bad. I would transfer it to the freezer every 3-4 days. Because I was pumping daily and so much I only kept one bottle stored in the fridge at a given time so my husband can feed the baby.
Does this answer your question?
Tabitha Kay Yes it does! Thank you’
Awesome!! Happy Nursing and Pumping!!
When was those bottles pumped and what's your pumping routine???
This was my routine every 2 days because my supply so much!! So once my milk came in (a few days after baby is born) I would nurse baby from my breast and pump right after until I was empty. Sometime I would have to pump without feeding because it was too much and making my breast hurt.
Great video! What type of breast pump or pumps did you utilize and found to be the most effective?
Can I use a diff brand storage bottle than a bag?
Oh of course! Use whatever you have. I have went through so many different brand that I was going to make a video on which ones I personally had the most trouble using.
Tabitha Kay thank u!
Are the storage bags reusable?
No, the storage bags are not reusable. I purchased mine in bulk as I went through a lot of bags with the storing process.
Where do you find those lids? What are they called?
I purchased mine from target but everyone sale them. It is the Medela Breast Milk Storage Solution
How much ml or oz do u storage a day ?and how old is your Baby?merci
I pumped every 2-3 hours ranging anywhere from 8-12 oz each session. My baby is 19 months old and I stopped nursing when she was 13 months. Hope this helps
How do you thraw out the milk from the deep freezer? Thank you
I filled a bowl with hot water and placed my frozen milk bag in the bowl until it thawed out. It thaws FAST!
Im a new mom and i was worried that if i pump too much i wont have enough supply when its time for her to nurse from the breast. Is that possible?
Tabitha Kay aaaw! Thanks a lot for everything.
Anytime! Happy NURSING!!!!!
Great video
Thank you!
Is that a way to prevent bacteria for an hr or more?
Is what a way? To freeze the milk within short days?
Where do you put all your milk before you put it in bags and store it or is all that milk from one session lol?
Hi Ashley, sorry for the delayed response. I pump daily and once my fridge was over packed I would put the milk in bags and place them in my freezer to make more room. I would have to do this every 3-4 days because my milk was insane. Hope this helped.
@@TabithaKay you keep the milk you pumped in the fridge for 3-4 days?
Yes at the max. It can stay in the fridge longer than 4 days...I believe up to 7 days in the fridge but don't quote me.
@@TabithaKay okay thank you I didn't realize that. I thought I could only stay in the fridge for 24 hours but I guess that is for thawed milk
Yes, thawed milk only 24 hours. Hope you haven't thrown too much of that liquid gold out!!
my problem was that my baby didn't want to breastfeed :( she just didn't know how to do it. and took me a week to finally get her latch.
Happy Nursing!!
nice :) I will keep on trying let's see how much it last
How much liquid do you intake water ect?
I only drank water. Not sure of the exact amount.
thank you for ur help
You're welcome! Let me know if you would like to see more videos on this topic. I would not mind doing a few follow-up videos.
That's cool idea!!
Thanks!
Do you still warm up the milk for baby?
Tabitha Kay yes! Thank you so much! I have a one week old newborn so I’m trying to hopefully start pumping this week.
Great job! I’m so jealous of your supply! I only pump 7 to 8 oz ): I would love to know what you did and do to boost your supply ?
1. Skin to skin
2. Drink water
3. Pump, pump and more pump
4. Feed from breast then pump after to empty the breast out
Hope this helps!
Icys W
Hey look up on RUclips
“how to make Avena”
That helped me a lot with my milk supply
I first didn’t have any milk and then I drank that and the next day my boobs were full
Thanks for the suggestion Iris Rendon! I never heard of that. Hope this helps Icys W
The volume important for when ur gonna feeds and it is frozen
Hi Jody, I am not sure I understand what you are saying.
You must have a little research on "healthy nursing tea" as well, it’s also a great source of milk supply stimulation.
I never heard of a nursing tea. I didn't take anything to increase my milk besides water. Hope this helps
What did you do to produce so much milk.
Aujeannette Mickles I pumped every 2-3 hours. I have slowed down tremendously because I was having to bag too much milk every 3 days.
What pump do you use
I use the medela double electric pump because my insurance covered it!
Are the bags reusable
No, bags are not reusable. One thing I would suggest is ordering off line!! Much CHEAPER
U said u only write the date but volume is also important when the milk is frozen u wont know the oz
Oh yes sorry I put the date and the oz on the package before freezing. I thought you could see the oz written on each package. My fault for not mentioning that. You are correct, oz is important. Thanks!!
Is this how much you pump in one day?
2-3 days I believe. But I pumped every 2 hours because my boobs were so full.
Do u think pumping has made u have a large supply or do u think ur body just does that naturally on its own?
Yes, I believe pumping played a major part in it. I was sure to empty my breast each time which in turn is the reason I was able to produce so much.
that is good that you still breast feed. the physical contact is so cruisal to the baby's brain development for the first three years of life. if they don't have that type of touch it can really damage the brain. the reason I know about this is because when I was a little girl I was put in an Romanian orphanage to the day of birth I did not get that type of touch I was sick too. I had a whole in my heart the government of Romania would not let birth mom keep me. but now I'm in a loving LDS family that loves and cares about me.
That's great!! I am glad you are in a loving family that loves and cares about you dearly!!
your baby is so beautiful.
Thank you
So wait!! You can't store breast milk in a regular freezer for 12 months?
Well.... thats what they say. I am not sure. You probably want to check with you doctor for an answer on the length of time you can keep milk in a regular freezer.
Only 3-6 months in a reg . Freezer because it's not 0degree and below but a deep freezer is 0degrees and below .

This is Milk factory 🇩🇪
No u said "all i do is the date"listen to it plz
Ok.
How do you produce so much milk ?
I started nursing as soon as my baby was born, before my actual milk came in. When my milk finally fully came in I was diligent in nursing, pumping and doing skin-to-skin sessions with my newborn. I also believe that water played a major part in my milk supply also. Hope this helps. If you have more questions, please leave them below. Thanks
Where did you get all the bottles?
the store or online probably. or they could have came with the pumps.
Tabitha Kay what is the skin to skin method?
Lotabuti basically putting your baby on your skin ( baby in diaper..no diaper if you are brave 😁 and you topless or in a bra. Hold baby close to you it will stimulate milk production and am amazing bonding and cuddle session
