I was going to buy a mav r to go with my pro r untill i found out the maverick r has alot of problems it doesn't have navigation, doesn't have speakers because they want you to buy the audio roof but if you buy it your stuck with the stock cage and speaking of stock cage the c pillar doesn't connect to anything, has weak a arms and upper radius rods I saw 3 mav Rs break down at utv takeover sand hollow 2 were bent a arms and 1 was a broken upper radius rod that broke off and stuck into the tire, soft suspension in the rear that bucks like crazy and people will say you can tune that out but the can am race mav r with tuned suspension still bucks in the rear bad now i know you said you fixed it but seems like a pain right out of the gate, the tires rub stock inside, speaking of tires good luck finding tires for the stock rims other than the stock ITPs that are on back order for now because of the rim size, ITP from what i know is the only one, it understeers, steering is rough and jerky, its 6 lug so goodluck finding a wide range of wheels and the fit and finish is horrible pieces keep flying off of this car. Btw you have to go to the middle screen for almost everything which is ridiculous it has no switches and you have to buy a different roof in order to run a windshield so what happens if you run a aftermarket cage with a windshield where does the roof intake go? The black and yellow mav r looks like bumble bee from transformers lol and the car is super quiet. Side note the car is always shifting which is annoying in auto and it won't rock climb in auto the power cuts out. I could literally go on alday about how bad this car is the paddle shifters don't turn with the steering wheel, the beeping when the door is open is annoying, the car clunks and makes noises brand new, storage in the cabin is really bad, you either run switches on the panel and have no place for intercom or gmrs radios or you run intercom and gmrs by the shifter and lose a place to run switches because lets face it you want the gmrs and intercom in the same place together in the center dash lol it's sad because I love the x3 but the mav r is honestly one of the worst cars i think ever made. The pro r has non of those problems the only bad thing I can say about the pro r is stock cage sucks, 2022 pro r ball joints suck and the stock clutch goes out after 1500miles or atleast it did for me but these are all things you can fix alot of the things I mentioned about the can am are unfixable. I'd take a x3 over a mav r any day of the week. I really like your channel and how honest you guys are and Im not saying the can am doesnt have performance im just saying for all that money you get more for your money with the pro r and the pro r looks better i think lol.
@dkdanis1340 one happened right in front of me at sand hollow and i went over it same speed. I didn't even hit the brakes because it was nothing to check up over. He pulled over and I was about to drive by him when I saw something wasn't right with the front so i stopped got out and we both noticed it was bent. Can am even mentioned it was a problem and they would be fixing it. It was a flat rock sticking up about 4 inches out of the sand it's in the middle of a trail and everyone drives over it fast but it bent the mav r. 2hrs later on a group ride it happened again to another one but I didn't see it happen but saw the aftermath of it with his a arm bent aswell. Next day I saw a dude pulled over in another mav r with his upper radius rod broken off and stuck into his back tire. On top of all of this I've heard and seen the plastic fairings come off, car has no speakers or navigation, the intake is in the middle instead of the hood, these are all the reasons I didn't buy one. Another thing I don't like is you can't put flared fenders on the mav r because of how they designed the car. Like I said I could go on alday about how bad this car is I'd buy an x3 over the mav r.
I remember you guys saying in a video about a year and a half ago that can am and polaris had no plans to ditch the belt...the belt acts as a vibration dampener blah blah blah 😂
@aw9680 Does make sense , but it's more he said can am and polaris had no plans whatsoever to ditch the belt...then bam haha the maverick r, either Justin just said that or he has no idea.. Even the Pro r has a vibration dampener behind the cvt.
I have a 2023 Polaris RZR trail 900 50 inch wide it came with 26 by 8 and in rear had 26 by 9 by 12 and I went to a 29 * 9 * 14 dirt Commander 2.0, stock tire was 23 1/2 lb and I think the dirt Commander weighed in at 30, should I get a different CLUTCH kit
Hello, I am part of my schools BAJA SAE Team and I have been put to the task of designing the rear suspension. We are currently planning on creating suspension very similar to Polaris RZR Pro R with a front trailing arm and two rear control arms per side. My main question is what planes are considered when mounting the coilovers? both on the trailing arm and also to the frame.
I think that can be it’s own show. But short version, computer way faster. Way better algorithm, live valve and piston valve so you have computer control of both compression and rebound. It’s bad ass and works great.
Oh my!!! a direct drive transmission, not belt!!! So new, So exiting, like nothing else in the market.... Oh wait... Yamaha and Honda have had this for YEARS!!!!

It's suvivership bias. Maybe those 3 hit something very bad at very bad angle. People have been sending it all over RUclips and it's strong.

Yes. That’s a big enough change to require a clutch kit to get your performance back.
I believe there's going to be a four-seater but it's not going to be as long as heavy as the old version and I believe that's going to come out soon
It's pretty long I saw a sneak peak of it and shes big and it looks much bigger than the 4 seat x3.

The shock must be at 90° with the trailing arm when the suspension is fully compress...

Did you figure out why the brake pedal was so spongy?
We bled the brakes. It got better. But never is quite as stiff and responsive as I would like it to be.
How good will it be at rock crawling on 33s , 35s In places like SMORR . Or Black mountain 🏔️.
I have not been there. But it’s been crawling like a goat in AZ and at Sand Hollow. Both have tough rock sections but none are super narrow.
