Hammer King productions really needs to figure out course markers, there is more missed VCP's during a KOH race than any of the Baja races. It seems to be an issue year after year, if a "Trail" is missed by more than half of the field it should be staked off with the typical orange arrows to signify the correct trail. AND to threaten to disqualify someone for it? Not a good look. You'll get em next year no doubt.
I can imagine us racers are like trying to herd cats, I know it’s hard for them to put up arrows in spots because of how hard the ground is. I think they did like 6 revisions of the map. It’s definitely tough, because the rule book says one thing, they say something different in the drivers meeting then by the end of the drivers meeting they change or add stipulations to what they said at the beginning of the meeting.
So awesome to have you come across the line first. Was looking forward to next year as soon as it was over. I know it' and the racers are only getting better!
Just wait until you can fit 37” tires on the R, 4400 cars will really be scared. Congrats on the W! Tough break in the x3 but you’ll know what you gotta do next year. Don’t give them any chance to pick it apart!

That ROK was the craziest race i have ever watched in my 40 years! Everytime something crazy happened and i didnt think anything else could happen... it did. I will never forget it. Your perseverance is top level. Cant wait to watch you next year!
Your 4400 hands down the best race I have ever seen. I race desert UTV and I can only imagine how the million dollar programs would react if a UTV came in first. The 4400 was wild to watch.....I thought you had it!! We raced the UTV rocks and missed Uptown for the same reason. The trails converged at the VCP so we had no clue. We finished 10th overall and you had an our on us. I couldn't imagine being an our faster...you are one bad dude. It was our first time at hammers and minus the mud we had a blast. I love the back story thanks for letting us in!

That's a rad video! I gotta admit, from what it sounded like before, I thought you cut out a lot more trail to earn those penalties. My GPS was well mounted, and I had a hard time reading it. It must have been nearly impossible to read yours. What a dramatic and exciting story you have! Yea, I feel like it was played out on the live stream to make it sound like we missed most the course, what kinda of got to me as I replayed the live, one of the Gomez missed a vcp and they explained live how it was ok, it’s just a 5min penalty he did not cut any track, but when it was me, It was portrayed like I missed full trails and I was cutting track.
@@kylechaney191 Uptown is a named trail, albeit short. Therefore you did miss a “full trail”. Stop portraying that you were wrongly penalized and single out or something. You DID NOT run the full race course everyone else that finished in front of you did for the 2024 ROK and got penalized for it. Simple as that. Lucky you didn’t get DQ’d for intentional short coursing.

Don’t be so hard on yourself man you won your race and did outstanding in the 4400 race. You may have made some mistakes but you sure proved what a driver you are!

I shook your hand after the interview and the next day you raced in one this year I was up at chocolate watching you were in the rain and watched you come up the hill Enjoyed the race. Glad you won. 👍
I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to that front end on that Can-Am It looks funny. I got a couple friends that have one and the first thing they did was put 35s on their units and they are beyond furious. They don’t fit. They rub like crazy. One the the guys put 2” wheel spacers to get the tire to fit but wholly crap is it wide. I think he said it’s 84” wide with his 35” Zillas. He has to take his spacers and tire off every time he loads it in his ToyHauler. Neither one of my friend are happy with their new $50K toy/ Can-Am.

CT built the cage, fuel cell, radius rods, front Lower A arms. Gusseted trailing arms, e2r sway bar, Nost fox shocks, RCV ball joints, factory utv skid plates, a tune and that’s pretty much it.

They took the difference between the average and best driver for 1 penalty, but the worst and best for the other penalty?
They added the guy that rolled over into the average so it made the amount of gain go up quite a bit.
If you used GPS North up mode instead of track up, you would not be missing trails.

Yes, deer season starts here in September and that’s right when we begin KOH testing
