    Attach magnets to the towels that block the light! And then put magnets on places where you want them to hang, much easier

    Lot of fairness

      The sleeper was added to the truck and the shop added them. It was made by AA sleeper. Owned by Bolt Sleeper.

    Just a warning. Blue light messes with your internal light click. Red is best.

    • @pinay56
      @pinay56 4 года назад +3

      That's why Submarines never have bright lights on inside, when its night time, to simulate the difference between night and day, they use "RED" lights for nighttime, makes for better reading of instruments in the red glow.

    I know this videos old but what do you use instead of cat litter because I'd like to take my cat with me.

    • @TruckandTravel
      @TruckandTravel  3 года назад

      We were using the Breeze cat litter system but there was a problem with that. Although there was less dust, the smell of the poop 💩was like it wasn't covered up at all. The urine drops down onto a pad on a tray that you slide out to change out the pad and since that is out in the open basically, it smelled bad. So we ended up switching to a regular litter box and have to do a deep clean every week 🤷‍♀️

    • @TruckandTravel
      @TruckandTravel  4 года назад +4

      If we bring them in the house when we are home for the weekend they usually spend the first day walking around meowing alllll night then they are back to normal. When they first got in the truck it was almost a week if I remember correctly because they weren't use to being around us all day either. The vibration of the engine is comforting to them i think because when cats purr its calming to them 😊

      They do in fact allow it regardless. Same way with training drivers on the road. Most cases they will try to put a male trainee with a male trainer and same vice versa but it’s not a requirement. I know people that had female trainers.

There seems to be lots of opportunities in the US compared to Canada. Would you be able to share your recruiter, agent or any other info that could possible help me get into this out of Canada? I would love to make long hauls across the USA. Thanks much! You could message me on Facebook also . Thanks God Bless guys!!

    This is my first look at a semi truck cabin! Thanks for sharing a real look inside trucking life! I'm surprised there aren't curtains for the sleeping cabin...😯! Looks like you found a good solution to that though. 👍

    • @TruckandTravel
      @TruckandTravel  4 года назад

      There are curtains that separate the driving area and the sleeper but we needed the extra light blocking curtains for when someone needs to go in the sleeper. Thanks for watching!

      New Volvo semi trucks have full wrap around curtains for windows and windshield

    • @dillonlewis3645
      @dillonlewis3645 2 года назад

      Vast majority of over the road trucks have them. I haven’t been in a truck that hasn’t had them and the only thing I haven’t driven is a Peterbilt and Mack

    • @dillonlewis3645

      This particular sleeper is a custom sleepr. Normal sleepers do not have even a fraction of the storage space as this and aren’t near as long.

    • @TruckandTravel
      @TruckandTravel  4 года назад +3

      So the 22 years of trucking makes you a cat expert? The place we adopted them from knows they are in the truck. We actually took them back because we couldn't afford them during all the government shut downs. Our owners gave us money for a few months supply of food. We went back for the cats, they was in corners hiding then seen us and started meowing and came up to us. The adoption place was glad to see we were able to take them back. So, your comments shows me how much you talk from feelings and not understanding.
