As a dad myself, seeing that smile on Bradley’s face as he fired up that Corvette…approved!
When you can provide moments like that for your kids, you know you’re doing something right. Well done Bieri family and thanks for sharing.
Only thing missing was hearing him say "BRING THE THUNDER"!
I cannot agree more. Well said
I had one of them ol 68 c10 6 bangers. 3spd column. No floor boards just big holes, no windshield wipers had to use window open and hold wiper and wipe windshield. Lot of parts flapped in the wind. One day the ol 6 banger bit the dust so I got a pontiac 6 banger at a junk yard. Looked just like the old motor. What a surprise on first ride, that motor lit the tires up like nobodies business, caught rubber in 2nd and 3rd!! I had a blast with my new revived chevy. Drove the hell outta that truck. Radiator always leaked so I had to keep plenty of extra water on hand. One day when I got to work there was no water at all left, popped the hood and the exhaust manifold and pipes were cherry red with plenty of smoke to boot. Refilled it and it ran like nothing ever happened. Another time after many miles(started leaking lots of oil) I decided I would run the shit outta the ol motor till it blew up or froze up, Pedal to the metal all night with my girlfriend, knocking banging and all sorts of good noises. I managed to make it home with smoke and steam bellowing out everywhere. Woke up next day and figured she was pretty well ready for the bone yard. For the hell of it I checked water and oil-ZERO levels, I refilled it and gave the starter a whirl, It started right up and ran like day one. Damn whats with this machine?? So I drove the hell outta it some more, Took it over a pretty good jump one day and that was it, I cracked both frame rails and it was the end of the road for the ol beast.
Hey thanks for stirring up my memories, had a lot of fun in the ol Chevy!!!
GM
Your second gear burnout shift with Lawsuit was masterful. Not an easy task with a sloppy column mounted gear selector.
I tried so hard to get to this event. I am in Florida, Ona, Florida or Limestone, Florida. I closed my bar for two weeks, started out on my 2005 Road glide, heading to Tucson, Arizona to this event. I had nothing but trouble the whole way, ends up electrical problems could never get it figured out. 7 days a bunch of hotels, and i never got out of florida. Left on the side of road for 7 hours in Crestview, Fl. one great man stopped, helped me above and beyond what i don't think anybody else would have done. Anyway needless to say i had no other transportation, tried to fix, with no luck. cost me a fortune and never made it out of Florida. had a few good times, and grateful for those that helped. had to rent a 20' U haul to get back home... i am home( 20 minutes from the Freedom Factory) I enjoy your channel was looking forward to this event, and was going to take in the sites afterwards...! okay i am done whining... It will be something to laugh at in the future. Thanks for your videos...!
Absolutely love the content and Derek’s attitude towards life, family and friends.
Our man Derek shifts that 3 on the tree like I shift my 1950 Ford with it's original Flathead..
It takes one solid well timed push on the lever!
Cracks me up every time I take off and wind out that old ford and grab a quick 1-2 shift and "chirp"!...all 80hp at work, just for the squawk hitting second gear! Lo-freakingL!!
That was one of the best times I've had in my life. What's even better, is a guy was just starting to think I should start saving for retirement, and paying off debt, but this show made me realize that would be foolish. I need to start spending money on old junk, and get back in the garage and get my projects done. Btw, it was great getting to meet you and Jessica, (and kids) in person. It has to be a blessing to have your family with, and having as much fun as you are.
Glad there wasnt a tesla guy there
thats the spirit
At 6:33 I think the word u we’re looking for is ‘fulfillment’… the fulfillment you get from building your own ride and bringing it to an event and just throwing down and having fun with whatever you have is a blast all in itself!!! Much love vgg fam!!!
Great way to get a Saturday morning off can't wait for more thanks Derek
I was a bit taken back by the Saskatchewan chrome comment at 3:50! I wasn't expecting a stubble jumper on the show! Nice!
Awesome video!! I love see the entire family involved!!!
I had a 66 C10 back in college with the 6 cyl/3 on tree combo that had lived a long life as a Linoleum Company truck. Once I got ahold of it I drove my friend's band gear around southern Wisconsin to various gigs. It used a quart of oil every 100 miles but never stranded us.
"Did anything else fall off? I dont think so... thats pretty good!" Words to live by.
haha, thanks for watching Brandon

Most popular name in America right now!
"Let's Go, Brandon!"
lol i say that with every car i own
Let’s go Brandon!
As I get older, I have the same problem with my body day to day. When nothing falls off,it's a good day.
Don't care what they say, Derek. You smoked em!!!
Way to go man!!!
I worked at a buy here, pay here used car dealership and right before I left they got in a 1983 S-10 with a 283 SBC swap with a Turbo 350 trans and it was alot of fun. It was slow off the line, but the torque and the power to weight ratio made it a long legged cruiser. It didn't take long to wrap the speedo back around to 0 and that was a tired old bone stock 283 with a Rochester 4 bbl. Ever since then I've been wanting to build a slammed S-10 with a 305 or 350 with some compression upgrades, induction upgrades (of the Procharger type 😉), some tuned length headers, a full 3" dual exhaust, and a 5 speed manual.
What A Wicked Machine!!! "I'll just put her up against the barrier for the burn-out contest" You sir are an Entertainer!!!!
Idk who keeps giving these thumbs down.
It's kinda like when movie critics tell you the movie is no good and you go anyway and it's GREAT!
It's definitely more gooder than other channels!
That blue 68 Charger is about the prettiest thing I ever saw.
Nothing like sitting in my tree stand bow hunting a catching up on a fresh video of VGG thank you much. .. Oh oops ..got go deer coming up the hill here, I bleep blooped it.

WoW great show, Vice Grip Garage, I really enjoyed that the burn out and popping of the tires was really cool a lot of real great cars, and was really cool to see junkers on the drag strip just so cool many thumbs up :-) awesome
@11:41 thanks for catching Cinester Chevelle in your video! Awesome time at the drag strip! @americanfighterpilot
Going with a sub 20 second run. It’s got it’s fair share of “weight reduction”
That's one hecker of a bolt-action burn-out!
i saw this on Mike Finnegan's channel and immediately recognized this truck!!!
Accomplish? Nooo that's way too much.. Omg I love this channel.
It’ll run a 3.2… No, 1.4 days at .008% mph… and use 217 gallons. God bless America 🇺🇸
Man I love our country
Awesome thanks
4:24 Chappperelle Vacuum set up
Sounds like an old Mack I love it
That's cool! I need to know when you'll be back in Tucson for the drags so I can come down there! When I was in high school I'd go to TRP (Tucson Raceway Park) to watch Test and Tune drags on Friday nights. So much fun. Need to get back there!
Just found out it's called Tucson Dragway now. Didn't know that.
Awesome run with the outlaw. Super cool. Good run. Lol
A damn fine run!
And smoke gets in your eyes over four states and ya can see it on the Weather Channel radar!

Did I spot “thegreg99” bump side ford f100 in that clip of line ups ???? Those gold valve covers and that breather system gave her a away!!!!!😎
Love the look of that truck!

What an epic day. Too bad there’s never any events in my neck of the woods.
That Oldsmobile sounds purrtyyyy
Roadkill talking in the background 😂

Didn't care for the shine on that thing when you first put it on, but it mellowed out and looks good.
Hey my trucks in the background in the first 40 seconds 👍
Very cool video. 😎 looks like another great time.
Should of had Bently do the burnout. After all, he IS the burnout king.
Who would have guessed old Lawsuit would get both tires going halfway through
I can hear PhotoInduction now going "I popped it!!!!"

Thanks for the show in Tucson! Wanted to make the drive from Lost Danglese but had a dental SNAFU (angry root canal). Hope your road trip to and from went well. Any video content from that journey? If not, no worries. I bet sometimes it’s nice to just be OFF camera and enjoy the moment with no footage to download and edit
Good job
... just another silly idea from my brain... how's about finding a '73-'74 AMC Gremlin "X" with the 304 in it. Then, of course, burn the tires off of it!
Finished watching all of your videos today. I’m a little sad now.
Seeing this from outer space explains why real space aliens never land on earth!
Luv it , good times
Testing that castrol diff oil
Isn't that no humidity weather the greatest?
Been waiting on a new vgg vidya. Missed you Derek. This was a good one.

See a Fellar or two might be a tad bit jealous, on account that stuff like this is all but gone here in California, You fellars sure know how to live. ( Maybe it's time to move.)
11:49 Plan II
Derek, please do a crosssover episode with “Just a few acres” He has a 50s international that needs your attention
A feller could hurt his back takin off that fast
14:38 add for infusion water. My cut is 5%
Or a sticker 🤔
You could measure Lawsuits time with an abacus ...
18.5
I bet that was a first. A phone call about extending your car warranty in the middle of a burnout competition.
