I Fixed Albert Wesker with the Original Voice Actor - Resident Evil 4 Remake

- This is by no means trying to outdo the work of the voice actor from the remake, but serves to show what could’ve been had they created Wesker's voice actor depict the lines closer to his original counterpart from Resident Evil 5. I stayed true to the original script from the remake, but may have also inserted my own production and writing for a couple scenes. Here is Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil 5 Remake with his original voice actor. I remade Albert Wesker from the Resident 4 Remake into his original voice actor, and this is by no means saying one is better than the other since that is for you to decide ❤️

León VA did an amazing job, sometimes I feel like it was Paul Mercier all along in the remake, give Nick some crédit he knocked it out of the Park portraying badass León instead of RE2R puppy León.
Luis VA also finally sounds Spanish instead of Mexican, great job. As for Ashley, she sounds way better than OG Ashley, no disrespect but OG Ashley sounded whinney and annoying.
The merchant is alright and grew up on me. Wesker is alright, altho DC Douglas still the best by a long shot.
It's only Ada who sounds way off, like barely trying. And Krauser sounds too forced.
But give crédit where crédit is due, most of the cast did an amazing job in the remake.
I mean for most of the remake voice actors they have done well but as for the krauser one it is terrible 😂 and Wesker's I think I can get used to but there's no denying that d.c Douglas was literally and amazing Wesker

Although I'm more used to the old voice, my only real big complaint is that his lines and dialogue delivery still sound corny like a B-movie, which is what these remakes are trying to movie away from. Just compare his tone, expression, and the writing of his dialogue to the rest of the writing in the RE2 and 3 remakes, RE7, and Village. It's out place his dialogue. I know some corny lines Leon says in the original are still here, but at least they feel more believable as wisecracks that police task force and army soldiers really make to relax under stressful situations. The remakes have a more big budget horror sci-fi tone to them like the first 2 Alien films, and no longer have that B-movie factor. If you think about it, The inspiration of the Alien franchise to Resident Evil is very notable in the remakes. Umbrella is the Weyland-Yutani of the RE Universe. They could have at least written Wesker's dialogue to fit more in tone with the remakes rather than the older 1 dimensional cheese we got in RE5. The RE4 remake compared to the original feels less like a B-Movie up until Wesker shows up. I means it's like seeing Darth Vader in a Daniel Craig James Bond film. Out of place.

@@melissazietz1241um I don't think you read or understood my comment. I never said that him appearing in the remake was out of place. I was saying that the way they handled his remake rendition's dialogue and acting seemed out of place in the overall tone of acting and dialogue writing of the RE2 and 3 remakes, and RE7 and Village . Out place like putting Roger Moore's James Bond into a Daniel Craig Bond film. Or putting Adam West's Batman onto a Christian Bale Batman film.
His writing and acting is pretty in place with new RE. Especially after Mother Miranda, and all of Village tbh, he’s a lot less dumb than the villains from that game

ALL VOICES ARE ORIGINAL, with the exception of Wesker in the upper video. His voice is AI generated but based in RE5 (that had a completely different voice than the original RE4).
Technically this isn't accurate. This is an AI of DC Douglas, the voice of Wesker in RE5. Where in RE4 he was voiced by Richard Waugh, who also voiced him in Code Veronica and RE0... ik the comments are just gonna use the nerd emoji so let me spare you all the trouble 🤓

People defending the new Ada voice in English like the emotionless monotone was a creative choice from the directors…
I can assure you that the French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese versions are much closer to the original flirty and mysterious voice. I can’t attest to the Russian, Japanese and Mandarin versions’ quality, but their intonation definitely has more emotion than the English VA.
The fact that Ada’s VA had already changed in three other occasions and almost nobody complained (or even noticed) shows that the latest voice is the outlier. Some people might find a reason to defend this new voice, but the consensus seems to be that she simply did a poor job.

Jesus Christ this new VA for Ada is BAD. She literally have one monotonous voice tone for the entire game. Act lady, friking act. A voiced chatbot speak more naturally than her.

Sorry, you can't fix what's made awful altogether in that game. I love Wesker, but this version really sucks! Worst are his looks compared to RE 5. What the heck did they do to his FACE??!! I expected SO much better with the new graphics but I'm more than disappointed and not gonna buy that game whatsoever. - But still thx for trying. Capcom just totally f... up. 🤬🤨
