instead of wasting 2 yellows and 3 reds for the crown, I just use all 5 different colors and it will hit 100k. its not worth the extra 8k for unbalanced gem use.

Absolutely. You can save the 2 red beryls and one yellow diamond which are worth 25k by themselves. Definitely not worth the extra 8k it adds to the crown

nah, he's really showing the best gem combo, like the crown if you combine with five colour combo it's only give u 100.000, but if you combine it like this video will get 108.000, and you should save ur yellow diamond and red berryl, because it's most valuable for combo and also it's very rare to get.

@@jonathanchristopherxixi point of the combo is to make higher value from cheaper stones. The 8000 plus is just the value of the rarer stones. Count it if you dont believe ;)

Contradicted yourself. 1st comment arguing that if you use different stones, it'll give more value. Then, in a reply to another comment to you, basically telling him. That using the same stones is an 8k gain, defeating your original comment to the video. I may be wrong on how it's being read. In my opinion, how it's shown in the video is the best way to pair your jewels to the relics.
Its still worth going for the full color combo on the crown. Save the extra yellow/reds for other treasures to give them a bigger value boost

@@halonut96 but thats bcs these are more expensive gem stones. Thats why its more. But its still 1.8x
For all different colors you have 2.0x So even if first option is more you are getting better price for second bcs % is bigger for cheaper gems.
@@halonut96you can sell the specific item for more, but you’re not getting the full amount for everything in total. The multipliers help you find that out

@@halonut96 dude holy shit, the multiplier gives a better price per gem, so instead of going for the max price you should go for the max multiplier because you get a better deal.
IMO, the extra 8,000 you get from the crown by only using red and yellow gems isn't worth it. I use one of each color for the 100,000.

The necklace is worth more if you use two rubies and the red beryls. You get a quartet bonus. And with the crown you get a hextet or whatever it's called bonus
I really hope no one actually wastes they're red beryls and yellow diamonds on the elegant crown for only 8k more than if using five colors and cheaper and easier to get stones
It's worth even more than what you said if you use the the right color combinations.
You’re actually losing money if you don’t use the color combinations correctly. For example you can sell the crown for 100,000 psas if you use a sapphire, a diamond, and all 3 types of rectangular jewels.
Yeah... And its less bcs gems in it are cheaper but this is still 2.0x not 1.8x So for what u invest in this its still better price but people See 108k not 100 and they think its better 😅
@@BlackPaperMoon18 Yeah gem system people are not taking advantage of since it allows you to use cheaper gems to boost up cheaper base value treasures to the level of higher tier treasures since theres limited treasures per run.
Take advantage of the Color combos because you don’t get enough Red Beryls and Yellow Diamonds to get all these combos, and the max price you can earn using these aren’t really much more than the color combos.

I beat the game on standard mode and had enough for the elegant crown and lynx that’s like 150k+ but I didn’t even have to sell them to beat it

The crown can also be fitted with 5 of the expensive gems to get 100000, saving the need to use specifically Red Beryl and Yellow Diamond
Use Rubies and Red Beryls on 2,3 and 4 slots treasures to get the best possible combination combo for those treasures since the game recognize all of those gems as red gems and will stack them as same color combo. Only treasure is not worth same color combo is the crown since it benefits of a higher multiplier with 5 different colors instead of same color combo.
Mixing the round red rubies with with the square red Beryl counts as the same color and gives a better multiplier generally.
If you do all different color stones on the crown you get a bigger bonus

You can also figure this out on your own by pressing square when inlaying gems, it gives you a chart of all the gem combos and their bonuses...

I finished off the game with 337,000 pstas and like 7 bullets

...for it being like literally the only combinable treasure outside of the extra crown... holy crap is it just destructive to the game balance.
{For context the more a gun is upgraded prematurely the less likely you get ammo, max out a weapon before the island and your not getting ammo for it until you run dry}
Ornate necklace is also found in the village by the tower where he sewer entrance is.
It’s better to use the combination to get a higher multiplier and get the best value for each individual item.

I Bet You Won't even get the Achievement Of Selling A treasure For At least 100K Ptas. If you Need it 100K only All the Gemstone Types like: Emerald, Yellow Diamond, Red Byrel, Alixendrite, And A Sapphire. Each One Gemstone type (Except for The Ruby).
i think u can get even higher too, like if you get every color in there. usually, the gem combo bonuses go from mismatched, the least valuable combo, to matching gems which is more valuable, unless theres 5 slots because 5 mismatched colors is the most valuable combo 💀💀 kinda weird to switch it up like that, but admittedly i do like putting the gems in order of the rainbow lol
@@kaitlynmorgan4613 if you match all colors you’ll get less because you’ll be using two rubies which are worth much less than yellow diamonds, so although you’ll get a higher bonus, that bonus will be applying to a lower base value
Well yea but using all five colors is the most gem efficient, your using an alexandrite, sapphire and other gems that are worth less money, where as you need to use up more of your best gems just to get an extra 8k
Highest is not optimal. The necklace is 64,500, but uses all expensive gems. You only lose 5,000 if you use the rubies with the beryls, saving your yellow diamonds.
I'm surprised the Elegant Crown isn't worth more with 5 separate colors of gems

You can put all 5 gems on the crown for 100k instead its less but if your out of yellow and red gems might as well

WARNING: As most comments point out, do not use your damn Red Beryls and Yellow Diamonds like this, they're of the highest valued gems and should be saved for each treasure that lets you inset gems. just get the multiple color bonuses and it should get to a similar selling price.

5 different colours gives you the highest benefit. You can technically reach a higher number with yellow diamonds because they are much more expensive than all the other colours but you aren't making extra profit, it's just big gem selling for big money.

The value will shot up even higher if you place different gems on it. The red ones don’t give that much values. Some of these items can go up to almost 100k Pesetas.
DISCLAIMER: as I'm writing this, I did not get on my game and verify, I'm using various guides and such.
While the red beryl/yellow diamond crown does yield the most due to the trio + duo bonus _combined with_ the individual gems worth, fret not gamers! You can go for five different colors on the crown and necklace for a x2.0 bonus! You'll only need to do a red beryl/yellow diamond duo-trio once for the achievement Astute Appraiser (selling a treasure for 100,000 or more)

Why would you use only reds and yellows in the crown when you can set up the five color bonus and sell it for a fortune? I did that on my first playthrough, man.

I just had to make sure i wasn't dumb. Everything will sell for the most money if all gems are the same color. Also, the duo trio is the worst way to sell 5 gem slots. This is the only exception to mono rule color. 5 different color gems sell for x2 in a 5 gem slot item
You forgot the ornate necklace in the village chapter 1 after the village fight. Located in a treasure box next to the church.

Max value vs overall value, you'd lose out on tens of thousands if you don't cover the color values.

Bad combination. The correct way to use the gems is using all different colors to increase the bonus.
Of course the game reviewer will buy the extra treasures and then mention them as being there when they are only there if you paid money for the extra treasures dlc

You don’t, but it’s a marginal difference in price between rainbow crown and just reds and yellows. Honestly, I would suggest just doing all colors to save you resources scrounging up those extra yellow diamonds and red beryls.
