Was that Ben E King on the stage? I saw Bennie when I was about 17 during a snowstorm at a high school in Baltimore, very few kids were there because (parents wouldn't let them drive in such terrible weather) but he performed two sets and he was mesmerizing, I remember standing close to the platform, absolutely shivering because he stared into my eyes...what a thrill..and frightening..he was such a marvelous singer.
I’m the guy who was responsible for all the band gear on stage that night and before the show I pulled Bruce Springsteen said and said “ Bruce I’ve got a beautiful 1954 butterscotch Fender Telecaster for you to play and the end of the night and he said “ not tonight Eddie I think I m going guitar less”. Though I think he ended up playing something later after all.

Thank you so much for your sentiments because I am currently at home in bed battling the Coronavirus ( it’s been a couple of weeks so far so good). I was fortunate to work on special assignments ( recording studio stuff, rehearsal studio, one -off concerts) for Bruce from 1980 to 1988. He truly is the “real deal “” as an artist, performer and most of all great person. I was very fortunate to have worked for his manager George Travis.

Wow.... apart from Jagger and Springsteen, we can see most of the beach boys ( Mike Love, Al Jardine and Bruce Johnston ), Jeff Lynne, John Forgety, Dylan and George Harrison. At 1:29 we can see the beach boy Carl Wilson. Prpbably Brian was on the stage as well. But......Mike Love is so ignored by Jagger that makes me unconfortable. Mick Jagger is always in his only element when he's performing on stage. He's so amazing!!!

and it didnt amount to much..the grateful dead are a jam band

Know they were friends, but still strange watching Beatle George rockin´on "Satisfaction".
Where was he
George rokea mucho antes de q los Stones escriban satisfacción
I thought it was an amazing performance. Some of the best ever.
Vice versa as well, when Mick was jamming out to I Saw Her Standing There
That was really cool! Stevie Wonder soul beat---Stones always did have taste.
Mike Love is just glaring at Mick the whole time!
Yeah but mick didn't even took a look at him he just dismissed him the way only a legend could have done love was always a envious person
