All of Taylor's Band, & Backup Singers could be in their own Band or they would fit into any Band in the World. However instead they are with the biggest musical artist of all time. That in itself is a challenge. Taylor pays her huge staff handsomely & even though Taylor of course has the last say, the musicians do have some creative input, I'm just not sure how much. It does say a lot that Taylor has the lowest turnover of staff of any Business. Also her guitarist - Paui Sidoti & bass guitarist Amos Hellar, have been with Taylor since 2007. The Starlights, the 4 backup singers been with her since 2012. Taylor's drummer Matt Billingslea has been with her since 2013. They are all highly talented musicians at the top of their game, that don't look to be going anywhere.
The best front men in the 1960’s were ‘James Brown’ and ‘Chuck Berry’ and Little Richard’. If you watch these three performers, you will see where Mick learned his act.

I agree, It's wonderful! Like the Lady GaGa/Tony Bennett pairing and many, many others. In my opinion, music is the greatest unifier humanity has. Whatever type of music a person likes, it has the same effect on all of us - it stirs the soul, sits on the heart and becomes a part of you. I remember back in the 70s, I think, maybe early 80s, someone did a disco/dance version of Mozart. And it was a big hit because it stirred the souls of a lot of people. Just like this song and these artists do. I am continuously amazed by the talent of the people that create music. From classical to jazz to the Great American Songbook of 'standards' (nothing standard about it}, to blues, to R&B to rock - in all it's carnations - to disco to folk to country to hip hop to rap - all of it is fantastic and fascinates me. I have my favorites, like everyone does, and that's the beauty of music. There's so much out there - more than enough to touch every single soul on earth. Never take it for granted. Appreciate the work, the heart and soul, these talented people put into making this beautiful thing called music. Never take for granted the power of it. To bring joy, awareness, passion, understanding. To make us feel! And the unity that comes with it. Something this world so sorely needs...
The first time I saw the Stones was in either 64 or 65 at an open theater in San Diego, now it’s 2023 and I’m still going to Stone’s concerts. That’s almost 60 years, damn I got old.
Sadly I wasn't fortunate to see The Stones live but from the first time I saw Mick and the band on T.V. in 1964 I was hooked. I won't say what my Dad's comments were though! There has never been anyone like him on stage since, the energy is still there. I'm a 'young' 72 and he still makes me want to get up and dance!! 🤩

I grew up with the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Dillon, Leonard Cohen, etc. It is really not possible for me to get excited about Taylor Swift. She looks stiff and stilted next to the musicians of my generation. I like her as a good person and a lovely lady. I hope she matures to be a great musician, too. PS. The Eagles are on tour right now and the Stones are about to go on tour, after releasing their new album. I love watching Mick perform! ❤❤❤

I respect Taylor Swift for inviting this rock legend to peform with her. She's an awesome talent in her own right. To really see what Mick Jagger was like in his younger years, just check out his performances with the Stones from back in the late 60's and 70's. Rocks best front man for sure.
Mick is welcome to come and perform with me on stage. We could do "Jumpin' Jack Flash" or somethin" In fact, Taylor is welcome too. We could do "You Belong with Me" or "Antihero" or somethin'.
I was at the Stones’ Altamont free concert in California in 12/69. Mick was trying to reproduce Woodstock with great intentions. There was a great lineup of rock groups (Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, etc.) and the music was amazing. But towards evening things got out of hand between the Hells Angels (hired by the Stones as security and paid them with beer… a very bad idea as it turned out) and concertgoers. The Stones were playing “Sympathy for the Devil” when a young man was stabbed and killed right in front of the stage. I was thinking that kinda ended the amazing 60s… “the day the music died.” I have always loved The Rolling Stones and still do @age 73.
Mick and Taylor both have an amazing stage presence. Doesn’t matter if it’s a smaller venue with many different artists or their own stadium. They get the people going!
I have said to people very often that Taylor Swift was women's answer to Mick Jagger, but had no idea they'd actually performed together. This was just awesome!

I've been a fan of syncopated music since the days of Rhythm 'n' Blues, and when I first heard this song, I thought, "What's that noise?" If you're singing a song with endless (and boring) repetition, how do you know when you get to the end?
73 years old Mick looked fitter than most people half his age! He is the only rocking roller that can still move like in his twenties. Nothings changed except some wrinkles on the face! What an incredible man!
Taylor has performed with so many of the greats of music. Not many people realize this. But I know I've seen her with Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, Carly Simon, Paul McCartney, and even Madonna to name a few. I think it would blow people's minds who don't like Taylor that she has been able to do so and has these musicians support her. 😊
@@oneshothunter9877 I didn't mean it that way. I added Madonna because no one would think of those two being onstage together. Yes, I can see her being onstage with some of the others. But I just never pictured her with Madonna.🤷♀️. So, no I am definitely not saying she's better. But however you want to think.🙄
Great to see Mick Jagger performing with Taylor Swift and for a younger generation! I was lucky enough to see him in his prime, and he still has charisma and the same enthusiastic energy!
Taylor is the shrewdest performer I have seen so far! She knows how to be great: stand with them, perform with them, learn from them. That is why she is a billionaire at 33 years old!!
People used to say that the Stones would take any band on the road to open for them, no matter how huge or great the band was, because they knew they were still going to put on the better show. No fear about their performance not being 100%. I see the same thing in the fact that Taylor will bring out anyone on stage and she knows she can hold her own alongside them. This was absolutely amazing to watch.
@@tokk3n-hj4xg same I was at that show at the LA Colosseum, it was 2 days with Van Halen so many great bands both days ! also at the Rose Bowl both times with Guns N’ Roses, and in living color. Went with my dad and my brother to the rose bowl and my dad to the coliseum
I am a huge Rolling Stones fan and Mick Jagger is an immortal icon for 60 plus year . Taylor Swift in her own way brings joy to millions and millions of fans, she is not my taste in music but I respect the hell out of her . It is music after all , they both have fun and so does the audience!!!!! I
You Know Taylor is a genre-bender, right? She is not just a pop girlie. And the girl knows her way around an electric guitar, she did a rock version of her pop song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together during her 1989 tour, and ever since her fans have been asking for a rock album.
how cool that this 63 year old Stones fan can share this with my 20 year old daughter who is a huge Taylor Swift fan (although I could’ve played a better guitar solo here 😎)
I am gobsmacked. I had no idea Tay and Mick were buds. I saw the Stones in concert once and never had the cash for Taylor Swift. He is the king of rock and roll and she is the princess of sexy. Long live Rock and Roll.
Indeed, a thank you to the person who put this up, and to Taylor Swift for having the courage to share her stage with the greatest rock singer alive! He is quite formidable, even if one is on top of her game.
@jon trinks I mean. Jagger has been touring forever. You cannot possibly expect taylor, even with her experience, to top that. You cannot top 40 years of experience.
Performing with Mick Fucking Jagger!!!! Amazing!! And on a side note I'd love to hear what her guitarist thought about absolutely smashing a Rolling Stones tune onstage with Jagger! ❤
My 6 yo daughter and I were there and video still in my cloud. We were maybe 4 rows back from the stage and yes, he’s so energetic- legend. I need whatever anti aging regime he’s on!!
Mick's stage presence simply and greatly overshadows Taylor'. At her show non the less. Neither of them could help that. It's just what it is. As an old fogie, I certainly respect Taylor musically and using her "huge superstar" position to force labels/streaming sites etc. to better treat and compensate the "artists". 👍
she has an insanely great stage presence especially when performing her own music, however mick jagger's stage presence will almost always overshadow any artist
So, you're wrong. It's his song, and Taylor always give the spotlight to her colleagues on her concerts, go and watch Taylor and other guests at her shows. Now if one day will have the hypothetical case of having those two actually compiting for the spotlight would be very fun to watch 'cause both are amazing performers.
If Mick Jagger is doing a duet with you…well, dang, that just makes Taylor rock royalty. And they both bust their asses to give the fans a really great show. 👍👍
Taylor Swift and Mick Jagger, is sounding amazing. When Mick steps out on the stage it automatic becomes his stage. No one can ever upstage Mick. Mick is a 7 wonder of the world..Mick's moves a incredible and hot 🔥. Mick you are a legend and a phenomenal performer and Rockstar 🎉🎉.
AWESOME. As a songwriter/less than mediocre musician/rock and roll lover I can live vicariously through Taylor Swift. That was just plain AWESOME!!! ✌❤🙂
As a 63 year old Stones fan I thought that was great. Two professionals feeding off each other’s talent is amazing. And that guitarist getting to Keith riff out’ with Mick on him like that must have been a moment he won’t soon forget. Cool shit.
Stones just put an album making seven straight decades a top ten billboard album of original material. Add fifty one tours, surviving trend after trend and Mick taking them from broke in early 70s to multi millionaires. Five of the biggest tours of all time and still causing excitement in every city they hit in their 80s. Phenemonal and unmatched legacy of 400 songs - 250 known globally. Applaud them while they are here - appreciate them with all your heart
I thought it was so cool to see them perform together even though they are from different generations and play different music! They are both two of my favorite performers!
I was searching The Rolling Stones Live after a long time. I found this video, I did not know she has such views in her song. I had heard Taylor name but never listened her song. She is very luckiest person to be with Mick Jagger the legend.
"objectively"? I don't consider my opinions objective. The very def. of opinion includes subjective. Why do you consider yours different? I prefer Prince, for one. Freddie. Debbie. Arlo. Elvis. Cash. I agree Mick outstanding and have no argument beyond calling opinions objective. I would note there are frontmen like Prince who add instrumental virtuosity Mick doesn't have. This meaningful to me. "Objectively"" pointless ???
@BoynamedMagnus183 i like taylor, She isnt in Micks league though. Mick Jagger is rock and roll. He's immortal and so is Keith Richards... rolling stones are the greatest rock and roll band in the world..have been for 50 years.

If you can stand with Mick - you can go anywhere, dear lady!! Miss Taylor struts it just like Jagger. That took some nerve. You can see she felt very honoured to be on the stage when the legend made it happen right in front of her, with her! ♥
Most amazing Performance that I just saw loved every second of it. Its fun to find out about sapphos and all the timeless moments that will last forever shared as a creative pool a fountain of youth. May you stay forever young. I LOVE YOU
That was so powerfully good feeling!!!! To see two famous artists, that many different generations apart come together and rock the house as one. And they both looked so good together!!!!
What surprises me is how well matched physically they are. About the same height and weight and they move almost the same. You also wouldn't think that there was a 46 year age gap between them. Rock on Sir Mick (and Ms. Taylor).
And that's how it's done. Respectfully, perfectly. It's hard for me to wrap my head around Taylor's enormity. How incredible for her family to uproot to another state. Perhaps the outcome would be different were the Swifts not as supportive.
I love this...And she kicks butt too. I just saw Mick and the Stones in Chicago. Still Got Me Rockin at 80 years old. The lead man of the Greatest Rock Band of All Time with the best pop songwriter of all time. Amazing.
Fantastic Micks performance is stunning she is young and struggles to not only stay on tune but physically is struggling to keep up. Anyway Mick Jagger you are amazing as you were back in the day.

That's because he moves like Jagger, oh yeah moves like Jagger, he moo oo oo oo oo oo oo oo ooves like Jagger. :)
Incredible to see and hear my teenage star performing with my latest star - good on you Taylor for showcasing Mick.
Happy Birthday, Mick. 80 years old today!
What a thing to do!!! Incredible... she is just fabulous to get Mick on her stage with his magic and this immortal tune!
however i look at it the other way around. fabulous of Mick to agree to do that for her!
@@witz1726 that too, of course.
ANOTHER 70s Rock n roll Giant the 70s were the best ever Released in 1971
Mick is simply ageless. Taylor is so intelligent and generous with her fans to have them share all this.
73 years old Mick looked fitter than most people half his age! He is the only rocking roller that can still move like in his twenties. Nothings changed except some wrinkles on the face! What an incredible man!
He runs almost daily
@@jacpfc01 More than just running, he stretches, has a full yoga routine and lifts light weights.
"even Madonna"... Like she was the greatest of those you mentioned.
@@oneshothunter9877 I didn't mean it that way. I added Madonna because no one would think of those two being onstage together. Yes, I can see her being onstage with some of the others. But I just never pictured her with Madonna.🤷♀️. So, no I am definitely not saying she's better. But however you want to think.🙄
and The Rolling Stones
And Michigan says..EVEN MADONNA!
@@michaelg6641 yes, she's wonderful!😜
The Rolling Stones and Taylor Swift have always treated their fans well. It has paid off for both.
I saw them at the L.A. Colloseum when GNR opened for them. Both bands put on a great show.
True
@@tokk3n-hj4xg same I was at that show at the LA Colosseum, it was 2 days with Van Halen so many great bands both days ! also at the Rose Bowl both times with Guns N’ Roses, and in living color. Went with my dad and my brother to the rose bowl and my dad to the coliseum
True but even the stones admit Skynyrd blew them off the stage when they opened for the stones in the early 70’s
Good old Mick; always puts on a fantastic show
I am a huge Rolling Stones fan and Mick Jagger is an immortal icon for 60 plus year .
Mick Jagger is a Legend
Look at his showmanship and singing. A masterpiece!
Top 3 special guest Taylor!
Freaking love that you know your rock n roll history. Keep it up woman.
If this proves anything, it proves how amazing Tina Turner was.
The guitar riff is both iconic and so recognizable
He's 71 in this video and still Rocks like a teenager! He's timeless and Taylor is scintillating!
Jagger on another level, he's a wonderful sight to behold. ☝🏻🎤
two of my favs. i got chills, i cried, i got lost in the music and enjoyed the ride.
how cool that this 63 year old Stones fan can share this with my 20 year old daughter who is a huge Taylor Swift fan (although I could’ve played a better guitar solo here 😎)
Well we can't all be Keith Richards or Ronnie wood
@@Paul8820 that’s good ‘cause I played better than Ron Wood when I was in high school; love Keith though
Frank nice to see your well, love your music 🎵🎶
@@robertjohnson177 *you're
It’s 2023 literally everyone’s knows The Rolling Stones, old people love gate keeping 😂
I am gobsmacked. I had no idea Tay and Mick were buds. I saw the Stones in concert once and never had the cash for Taylor Swift. He is the king of rock and roll and she is the princess of sexy. Long live Rock and Roll.
Incredible pairing.Greatest song in rock and roll history. Never thought I'd see this.Thank you very much
Great song. Not the greatest
Indeed, a thank you to the person who put this up, and to Taylor Swift for having the courage to share her stage with the greatest rock singer alive! He is quite formidable, even if one is on top of her game.
@@frostysilverstein842 It does take courage. Swift is a fine singer and song writer. But clearly upstaged by this old guy.
@@kristinaant9747 I beg to differ
@jon trinks I mean. Jagger has been touring forever. You cannot possibly expect taylor, even with her experience, to top that. You cannot top 40 years of experience.
"Satisfaction" says rock 'n roll more than any song ever. It is the quintessential rock song of all time.
These two are the best of the young and older! So cool to watch!!!
Mick stole the show...The greatest frontman rock and roll has ever seen...
I'm seeing the Stones next month 🙂 so I'll get to see that energy
Mick's stage presence simply and greatly overshadows Taylor'. At her show non the less. Neither of them could help that. It's just what it is.
As an old fogie, I certainly respect Taylor musically and using her "huge superstar" position to force labels/streaming sites etc. to better treat and compensate the "artists". 👍
Mick overshadows most, always have, always will.
she has an insanely great stage presence especially when performing her own music, however mick jagger's stage presence will almost always overshadow any artist
A music legend, a real timeless song, a simply fantastic Taylor ....excellent performance! ❤
Mick Jagger: A legend in his own time!
Cool shit.
Wow Mick on stage amazing as always...the way he moves and sings...what energy....he's the best still🤩
Amen
Hello 👋. How are you?
What a great duo 😊❤. Mick and Taylor made an amazing team. I happen to enjoy them both🎉😊. I'm getting satisfaction watching this. Right On!
I get a kick out of Mick, always going in staccato time!😊
Micks Jagger & Taylor made a REALLY amazing team!! (preparing for incoming 😂)
Mick is 72 on this video and is simply amazing singing satisfaction for the millionth time
Mick Jagger é e será sempre um animal de palco, independentemente da idade que tiver.
two different generation of music. TOTAL LEGENDARY PERSON
There is simply something AMAZING about that man!
I was searching The Rolling Stones Live after a long time. I found this video, I did not know she has such views in her song. I had heard Taylor name but never listened her song. She is very luckiest person to be with Mick Jagger the legend.
With all due respect to T. Swift, Mick Jagger showed up and stole the show 😃
Completamente.
It would be nice if he don't sing completely out of tune. My ears are bleeding. Like RS album says Let it Bleed....
No one ever tried harder than Mick! The greatest.
But Taylor is objectively the greatest!😊
Greatest Front Man Ever!
@@boogie4943 You have probably only heard her biggest hits,so you really have absolutely no right to say you dislike her music, life is too short to give ignorant losers like you any attention!

He may be old, but he simply took over the stage!
Yes❤❤❤
Пусть он и стар, но он суперстар.
a young 'un respecting an elder, honoring a legend and having a blast doing it.
I was at this concert!!! Loved it!- she also brought out Leona Lewis that night too!
theres one
Amooooo Mick sei il mio tesoro il mio idolo in assoluto ✴✴✴✴✴ la tua bravura e il tuo coraggio mi hanno nutrito l'anima --- forever---
He's 80 now. Old enough to be her grandpa but still got the energy to move around better than most people his age.
I adore Miss Taylor, but no one can touch Mick...the GOAT! ❤
why do you compare?
If you can stand with Mick - you can go anywhere, dear lady!! Miss Taylor struts it just like Jagger. That took some nerve. You can see she felt very honoured to be on the stage when the legend made it happen right in front of her, with her! ♥
Most amazing Performance that I just saw loved every second of it. Its fun to find out about sapphos and all the timeless moments that will last forever shared as a creative pool a fountain of youth. May you stay forever young. I LOVE YOU
Mick and the Stones have always been IT for me! Nice to see Taylor appreciate and perform with him.
Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones are the greatest Rock and Roll band ever.
I follow them since 1968. Thanks Mick !
What great picture of Pual with Taylor on one side and Mick on the other side. Epic piece 😎 4:49
That was so powerfully good feeling!!!! To see two famous artists, that many different generations apart come together and rock the house as one. And they both looked so good together!!!!
I love Taylor, but wow can Mick sing & dance! He’s a 1-man show & he’s SO cool 😎
PS But that's not an issue so it doesn't matter
I love this...And she kicks butt too. I just saw Mick and the Stones in Chicago. Still Got Me Rockin at 80 years old. The lead man of the Greatest Rock Band of All Time with the best pop songwriter of all time. Amazing.
This video is SO MUCH BETTER than others of this performance!!! Thanks, so much, for posting it!
Mick’s still got it. I just wish the audio was better. Two great stars each in their own right, great collaboration! 🥰💕❤️👍👍
Fantastic Micks performance is stunning she is young and struggles to not only stay on tune but physically is struggling to keep up. Anyway Mick Jagger you are amazing as you were back in the day.
This was a very impressive performance by Taylor Swift and Mick Jagger.
His footwork is timeless!
Im 72 years old
I saw Mick Jagger in michigan when i was in ( I think) junior high school. I was visiting relatives there. It was WILD, such a great concert!!!
That’s great… wish I could’ve seen the stones with Brian…
No jones no stones
Give me a break, please. I saw the Stones 2X and Taylor is a great for her generation BUT Taylor sit down and DREAM.
My man, Mick Jagger, as the world rocks on! 🌟❤️
The greatest entertainer is right!
For many in that crowd this was probably their first taste of rock n roll . Hope they watch it , it's contagious . Cheers .
Dint think she deserves to be on stage with him
GO MIICK .... love to see this !!!! My Hero ..... thanks Taylor ... love that you did this. Your guitar player was fab too
I can't get no Satisfaction...is and will be the greatest rock song ever made...for many years to come...if not centuries...
You have good taste
That's a hell of a treat for the Swiftie moms and dads who were there that night!
the most iconic thing I’ve seen today
From country to pop but this amazing young lady can rock as well. 🥰🤘.
Uhm???😮
@@dobrasil8479 Have ever seen her live performance of "We are never ever getting back together " live in Sydney? She did a punk rock version..... Also watch her Crossroads show with Def Leppard when she was like 19.... The lady can rock
I smile because this song came out before Taylor was born. Heck probably before Taylor's mother was born😅
Wow another legion. My favorite song by mick jagger. He always was a great entertainer on stage.
Is it just me - or did that old guy just way outperform Taylor Swift? Which is hard to do.
That old guy, have you never seen or heard Mick Jager before?
Exactly 😅
Mick still bounces around like a teenager at age 80! Awesome!
yeah Mick outperformed her haha but he’s always had this energy which is why he’s such a rock icon
Nobody out does Mick.
