Sccy is a great tool. If you use a sccy for traing for a self defense situation you are a notch above people who dont. Where else can you get a tool that will let you train for jams, failure to feed, eject, shoot, hold a magazine and probably 10 more failures that nobody has ever heard of. Seriously a unreliable gun is a great tool to train with. If you have a firearm that never fails whats gonna happen if you need it and it has a failure, milliseconds count. If your use to a sccy that fails, then you automatically fix it if your use to no failures your gonna be shocked and possibly shot.

A Glock 44 is good for the same issue / failure training. And it is identical in manual of arms and size for the Glock 19, which is a good carry gun. But the Glock 44 uses 22LR which is cheaper to train with and easier to get non-shooters to fire, as it does not scare them (more like the anti-gun propaganda has not scared them away from an actual defense capable caliber).

I have 2 sks"s. One i am restoring that was handed down when my father passed, (although by the time i finish my time may be past!) these are the only semi automatics I own except for the ruger 10/22 stainless takedown. At htis point nearly all of my semi auto pistols have be sold as well. Yes I have the obligatory glock 19 for now and the pre usa beretta 92, but prefer my lever, bolt, and single shot rifles and my revolvers. Most of us old timers aint looking to get into a gun battle against a squad. By the way, no that is a mans beard your rockin!! 90% of the SCCYs that came into the range had some kind of issue. People would ask me what I thought was wrong with it? I flat out told them, "it's a SCCY". It's a shame that this company puts out an item so unreliable ( especially a firearm) for a price point and attracts unsuspecting buyers with a multitude of colors.

In most cases you get what you pay for with firearms. Also I don't live tricking out my handguns for I've found that adding extras or upgrades can really screw up reliability with them. When the factory's test, guns they are not putting on options. I've bought different types of options for guns and I wish I'd saved my cash afterwards.

One of the guns he mentions is the B&T APC9 Pro, a 9mm pistol with a hydraulic buffer and fully ambidextrous controls, which he thinks is overpriced, starting at $3,000. He suggests the Stribog SP93 as a more affordable alternative.
The speaker also expresses regret over the increasing expense of military surplus guns, specifically those from World War II, such as the B&T APC9, G43, SVT40, and SKS. While he appreciates their history, he acknowledges that their high cost and the expense of their ammo make them less practical options for defensive purposes.
The speaker also shares his regrets over purchasing the Sig Sauer Spectra Comp pistol, despite its custom features, and suggests the FTE Spectra Comp as a cheaper alternative. He also mentions the HK SP5, praising it as the best PDW in the world but acknowledging its high price tag.
The speaker expresses his disappointment over the $77,000 asking price of the Taran Tactical Sand Viper pistol, despite its incredible shooting capabilities. He also reflects on his experience with the Smith & Wesson MMP Shield EZ and criticizes the Performance Center version as overpriced.
Lastly, the speaker shares his regret over purchasing the affordable Sky CPX2 handgun due to its unreliable performance, including issues with magazine springs, hammers, and unexpected discharges. He encourages viewers to consider other budget options for defensive tools.

Second paragraph, an APC9 is not a surplus WW2 gun?

I understand your trying to make content to keep your channel going. But your experiences with these weapons don't equate to the experiences of others. There are people out there who don't have the funds to buy your expensive choices of what you think is a great gun.

I was able to get some military surplus stuff really cheap, a 1932 Mosin in really good condition, a really beat up SKS, a Romanian underfolder which was converted to semi-automatic, surplus stuff is really cool almost entirely because they're old and there is the history and story behind them. Let's be honest, though, the technology is obsolete, and the value in them is really just to have a change of pace for range shooting and learning about the history.

Its deeply ridiculous to complain about historical collectibles going up in price. It is further deeply ridiculous to evaluate their price based on the gun itself.
