      Hold up. Rublev doesn't have Shelton's serve & doesn't return the bigger 1st serves as well. It's why he panics so much under pressure. Breaking can be MUCH harder for him when he's not making 1st serves (his 2nd isn't scary) & isn't getting looks at 2nd serves. Ruby couldn't handle Menslayer's 1st serve, but Shelton could.

Stats were better for him across the board. Lots of respect & a great exchange at the net between the two. "Huge game... everything for me since USO has been... keep going." GAMEwise, he has to improve his backhand and return of serve. Creo que con Ben, muchos jugadores están mejorando jugando con él debido a su inmadurez. @@got2bjosh Say what you want but he isn't wining easy points off of the ground and that's what he needs. We all know he can serve and hit a forehand but his back and backhand return of serve is really lacking. He's not a player that can win easy points on the other person's game like the top ranked players can. He's not going to win this tournament. That's not talking mess, that's talking sense.

    Why is it when American players play at home they like they are best thing

    • @got2bjosh
      @got2bjosh 11 месяцев назад +3

      USA has more players in the top 100 on both tours than any other nation. USA hosts more tennis tournaments than any other nation. USA has the two largest tennis stadiums in the world (USO & IW). USA holds more Grand Slams, Olympic gold medals, Davis Cup titles, and weeks at #1 than any other nation. USO is the only uninterrupted Grand Slam & delivers the largest prize money on tour save for Finals. So yeah, not too shabby.

      He did it at the US open because it was a natural emotion and response to doing something he had never done before and wasn't expected to do. People can't grasp the ideal that he is a very outwardly emotional person. Novak is the last thing on his mind like he is on you all's mind.

      Enough already with these cantankerous character attacks. He doesn't need random wannabe church ladies trying to police his behavior at every turn.
