I think with a lot of groups the focus is usually on the lead vocalist and one or two guitarists, I’m enjoying learning about the other musicians as well. I’ve literally never heard Motörhead, but you can tell they had huge energy and influence. Thank you!🤗

I was at that Nottingham Theatre Royal gig. My mates and I had bought package tickets (which included a London to Stafford coach) to see MH at Stafford Bingley Hall but on the day, the coaches either never showed or, taking one look at the wet and bedraggled mob waiting in a muddy field near Kings Cross, decided to keep going. As a result, we were given free tickets and carriage to the Nottingham gig. Happy days!
BTW, huge mistake not to release "No Sleep" as a double album back in the day. Robbed it of legendary status like Alive I and II, Gonzo and Strangers. Oh well.....

I saw Fastway in 83 with Maiden and Coney Hatch in Pittsburgh. Eddie, so f'd up, he botched "Say What You Will". Sad. Maiden killed it, opening with "Where Eagles Dare" and never looking back.

Fact check: Fastway's second record was "All Fired Up", "Waiting for the Roar" was their third. The final Fastway album, "Eat Dog Eat" was released in 2011, which wasn't mentioned in this video.
