Why are all the comments shit-talking the sprite work in this game? I think it looks pretty good. :/ It probably doesn't help that this video is dropping a ton of frames.
Man this game would be so good but the music is sub par compared to the fire emblem games. The gameplay is fun af. But man i cannot get over how bad the music was
i will never excuse bad music in a game considering how many extremely talented people put their work out on new grounds and soundcloud on a daily basis with little-to-no recognition.
Music and sprites are pretty bad, I wish the characters sprites looked like their characters art. It’s a damn shame it had a lot of potential if it had more time.
for everyone saying things, THIS IS NOT FIRE EMBLEM so stop comparing also the game is really fun, and also art style is its own thing so it stands on its own right
@@mr.stuffdoer8483 Thre is a thing called gm genres and inide of it ther is another called game archetypes, a soulsborn is an archetype in videogame design, is just a compilation of mechanics that have a perticular description within a genre, fire emblm is a strategy game with classic rpg elements dark deity is also that, thefact that many pople only know fire emblem doesnt mean its the only game with those mechanics...
The sprite work looks... Lacking... In both design and detail. No offense to the people doing this, but if you go to the fire emblem sprite community, some people do an amazing job creating really cool looking things pretty much for free... And they look a lot more detailed than this. But well, looks isn't everything :/

I honestly love that different weapon types have different animations for the health bar on the side breaking, thats a nice touch

The sprites look great! Some of the maps are just poorly-designed and the map/battle music just do NOT sound good.
