Thank you Amy for showing us that even the pros take multiple rounds of patching and smoothing to get their cakes just right! Sped up and edited Instagram videos make it look so much easier than it is and it's nice for us less advanced cake decorators to see it in real time :)
Your work is awesome 👍. What makes it even better is that you have the patience and perfection regarding your decorating. Sharing your talents with viewers is more than giving. A nice slice of the cake would go well and Handy with a tall cold glass of milk. Keep up the good work.😂🎉🎉❤👍🏆
U r the BEST!!!! I have become a fan of yours and have been watching your videos nonstop!!! You are a great inspiration to me and I have just started to bake in a small way.....feel so happy to be learning from you....Keep up your good work. Will you give us a tour of your new kitchen and all the baking tools that you have.....Luv u, ur work and most of all, your CONFIDENCE and ATTITUDE 😍
Thank you for such a detailed video, loved it! I can never get my cakes smooth enough without running my spatula under hot water! will keep practicing =)
Thank you for this step by step video. This process to me is so discouraging that it prevents me from cake decorating, so does piping frosting onto cupcakes. My frosting always comes all the way off because I have to go around the cake so much that it creates holes and I just give up.
I love watching your videos! They are actually relaxing! I have a practical questions. With your cakes that are on the tall side how do you serve them to people? I wouldn't think they would fit on a plate and the pieces would be huge.
I'm a cake-baking novice and just made your chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and chocolate ganache by watching your videos. It was a total hit. Thank you! I've been trying in vain to find your Amazon storefront and the recipes you link on your videos. Can you tell me how to find those? Would love to be able to support your channel. Thanks again!
No but you do need to warm cakes up slowly and keep them chilled. So when I’m all done decorating and if the cake is going to be eaten within a day I will put it in the fridge and keep it there
Do I have to let the cake set at all during the crumb coat phase? I followed this tutorial and the buttercream on the very bottom looked like it was bulging, almost looked melted but wasnt. Thanks so much!
Idk if I got lost somewhere, but is the cake frozen the whole time? Do u just leave it out to thaw out after it’s decorated. I’ve never decorated frozen cake. I see there was no crumbs. please if anyone knows.
In the past, she’s said that she likes to decorate them frozen because it’s easier. (She always does a crumb coat beforehand which is why you don’t see crumbs.) You set the cake out a few hours before serving so it’s not frozen or cold.
I JUST WANTED TO MENTION THAT THE MONEY THAT SOME OF THE PEOPLE RAISE FOR HELPING IT IS SO GENEROUS AND KINDDDDDD I JUST WANTED TO SAY I HEARD ON INSTGRAM AND I LOVE HOW PEOPLE ARE SO THOUGHTFUL AND OF COURSE YOUR VIDEOS ARE AMAZING 😊🎀

Wonderful!
How much frosting do you prepare for the outside?
That cake looks absolutely delicious!!! Question; since the cakes are frozen does the buttercream get runny as the cake thaws? Thanks!

@@NeuroticMomBakes ok that makes sense! Thank you for replying. Your channel is one of my favorites! ❣️
Thank you so much for your videos! ❤️ helps me alot! Can you show us, where you get your stuff (like butter, choclate etc) from?
Just my local grocery store or Amazon
Beautiful 🥰
Hi Amy. Love your YT channel.
Quick question. After baking that you freeze the layers of cakes how long is it for before You start to crumb coat it.
As soon as they are frozen you can come call anytime
Good 👍👍👍👍
Amazing This is great. Can you share with us how to make your basic cake
All my recipes are here on my channel 😊
Do I have to let the cake set at all during the crumb coat phase? I followed this tutorial and the buttercream on the very bottom looked like it was bulging, almost looked melted but wasnt. Thanks so much!
Question, if the cake is taller and dowels/straws are needed, do you NOT stack until it’s thawed out a bit??
So beautyfull mam
Wht size pans did you use for the cakes?
Thanks Amy 💖 I love you channel and IG account🙂
I’m so glad you’re on both!!! Thank you
Is there any other option to get my cake smooth and even without a cake scrapper?
Whoops, I meant not really. You can try with a flat spatula and it’ll do a pretty good job, though
@@NeuroticMomBakes thats great! I will try that. Thank you so much for the help!!
What size of cake do you usually make?
How much frosting do I need to cover 6" cake?
