Afterlife brought me here in tears as well , I guess we all hear the silence at some point ! I lost my Dad just a few days ago,and my child just a few months before. I am in pain and I feel so lost,nothing I can do to bring them back. Thanks Dave for this song, it speaks to me,like the silence does every day of me being here.
I feel you, lost a partner myself, found this once I kinda leant to deal with the grief, I'm not over it but I've accepted it and this track just makes me reflect on our past, I sit there listening on repeat, I don't cry but I reflect on past and think deeply about what we shared, it touches me deeper than I realised I could be touched. I'm sat at end of my road at 12am thinking deeply and in a rush to go no where, it's so comforting.

Dave I cant thank you, Ricky and After Life enough. On March 6th I went to the UK to take care of my Terminally ill mother. I got suck there for 9 weeks away from my Wife and kids. While dealing with the emotions I'm currently dealing with you guys hit the right spot inside me. It's helped me Enormously to deal with the things in my life at that time. And still is. This is the version I was looking for after watching afterlife series 2. I only found the Don Diablo track called silence with you on vocals but not quite the same as this. Could be wrong and it doesn't really matter but "The Only Thing" by by Sufjan Stevens was actually the final tune. Had to find this version of this song too. Haunting.
This song sums up what it like when someone we love gets ripped away from us. Someone we'll never get to see again. 'After Life' is great for that very reason. It's so realistic. I don't quite understand it. I have no stories like most people here: no losses, set backs, rock-bottoms, or traumas. To me it's all been something my crazy mind has come up with itself when trying to make sense of this crazy world. Still, I recognized myself in so- so many moments in Afterlife... Especially the scenes in this song. I watched this and felt my mind slip, seeing him think on the edge. It sent me a little over the edge, but in a way that allowed me to see myself better. I cannot begin to truly describe the things this show has done to- and for me, but it is the most raw and real expression of some of the feelings I -and likely many others- have gone through. Simply amazing how it still blows my mind. This song fits it so well too, gorgeous work.

This is the version I was looking for after watching afterlife series 2. I only found the Don Diablo track called silence with you on vocals but not quite the same as this. Ricky couldn't of chosen a better track to end the show to. I have now heard of you and subscribed to you thanks to afterlife 🙂

This song sums up what it like when someone we love gets ripped away from us. Someone we'll never get to see again. 'After Life' is great for that very reason. It's so realistic. It shows what we're all feeling when someone we love is taken away from as all. "I can sum up life in 3 words 'life goes on.' - Robert Frost/'After Life'. Unfortunately, so does the pain and sorrow.

I don't quite understand it. I have no stories like most people here: no losses, set backs, rock-bottoms, or traumas. To me it's all been something my crazy mind has come up with itself when trying to make sense of this crazy world.
Still, I recognized myself in so- so many moments in Afterlife... Especially the scenes in this song. I watched this and felt my mind slip, seeing him think on the edge. It sent me a little over the edge, but in a way that allowed me to see myself better.
I cannot begin to truly describe the things this show has done to- and for me, but it is the most raw and real expression of some of the feelings I -and likely many others- have gone through. Simply amazing how it still blows my mind.
This song fits it so well too, gorgeous work.
