The highly anticipated AJ1 Dark Mocha recently released on October 31st and is said to be the best Jordan 1 colorways of 2020 by many sneakerheads. Jordan Brand has released a variety of different colorways in the Jordan 1 model but there may not be many better than this one! Our very own Vick Almighty adds his own twist on the highly coveted sneaker by aging the sneaker to give it a vintage look. He also incorporates a Travis Scott twist that makes the shoe pop!

Yeah same for me, but this kind of custom as to be well think before i guess, and he pretty much did a freestyle custom, at the end it looks nice to me, but if you compare it to the artist inspiration behind it not look as good, I’m pretty sure that this kind of custom skill goes better and better with the time
it looks good in moderation but when you over do the scuffing and staining, especially if the shoe has no creases, just looks odd and overbeat.

The stitching, print, and tongue really bring it all together.
The scuffing was a bad idea. The cross stitching over the seams was cool would look good on its own custom I think. @will3cook

I love the perfect imperfections of the scuff marks! Also the union stitching vibes from these is on point! I love this pair so much it reminds me of the shoe surgeon/ Michael B. Jordan collab!! If I won that would be amazing but honestly just watching this makes me want to do it myself haha! Fantastic job!

I have pair 4s that I own like this. They ain't best up or nothing but they got patina. They were a 2009 release. I take very good care of my kicks but these developed a bit of patina and I love it.

Take a tip from the prop industry, if you’re going to age/distress/weather try tell a story with it. The makes you make should make sense. How did the collar overlays get scuffed? How does the body move causing the stitching to fail? Did someone spill something to make this stain?

I think it came out pretty good. love the paisley collar and the black tongue being added. I would never do this to a new pair, maybe pick up at a thrift or second hand store and add more to a worn shoe would be the better route. Overall not mad at how they turned out though.

I actually like the way the shoe turned out. I find new sneakers hard to wear as it’s like walking on egg shells. Once they worn on I just let them rip loose and don’t have to worry about keeping them crisp

It is possibly the best custom of 2020.
I like the placement of the stitching and the angles in the areas you scuffed the shoe it is incredible. Switching the tongue was a great move. Lastly the laces was a nice final touch .
