You're the first I've seen mention heel or toe transitions! Others usually keep one skate flat, but that friction makes me nervous 😅
Toes or heels looks smoother. I'll give it a shot!

@@jacobgoettsche2271 yes my wife comes to every session.we have push scooters as well we use .took them on holiday.we bought them off a Czech manufacturer high quality they glide really well. They race them in Czechoslovak too.Don’t like walking really prefer being on wheels eh😀I tried your side surf on rink.Mmm will practice in kitchen like you say it’s more. Advanced so come back to that one.I find that our local rink is definitely less grip than the outdoors by the river where I skate. It’s like a perforated plastic but still all practice eh,Practiced my one leg glide some power stops backwards crossovers too.

Another great video Jake!! I really liked the part about squatting down more to get into the side surfing position. Learned something new today.

Was having a hard time with this today, keeping the feet wide seems like it will make all the difference next time. Thanks!

If you could, brother, I’d like to see you skate with one inline and one rollerskate on at once, I’m actually trying to master this.

But ... Why? They each have advantages and disadvantages but I feel like this would only hold you back from the advantages of both.

What Inline skate do you recommend for indoor rinks? Dance, backward skating etc.

Thank you for the question, Joseph.
Honestly, that is totally a preference as to the style of skating you like to do. I recommend that if you are a beginner, use smaller wheels around the 75mm range. I used a pair of 80mm wheels for a couple of years before I purchased my black 90mm pair. I love the Maxxum xt from Rollerblade. The only small downside is that the top latch can loosen up while I skate. The bigger wheels have a tendency to hit each other as you crossover unless you use the short 3 wheel style. However, once you get used to it, you hardly notice the increase. Boot, wheels, and bearings all play a factor while you skate, as does the floor you're skating on.
Sorry that it took me so long to get back to you. Hope this answers your question. :-)
I know in this video I said I would be creating and posting videos every two weeks. I spoke too soon, and I want to apologize to those who are following me. I will do better.
The video I mentioned is still in the works!
      Coming soon!!
I will be skating to a never heard before song that my good friend John Ward wrote. The words are powerful, and his performance is captivating. I aim to make this next video worth the wait.

Hi! I ordered the FR FRX but I’m a beginner and I’d like to know how I can swap out the stock wheels for 76 until I get more comfortable? There are no skate shops in my city and skate rinks only seem to have wheels for quads? How do I determine quality, etc when ordering online and is it easy to swap out wheels?
