    Please write a book. You are such an excellent teacher. I feel that inline skating has become an art in its own right, and if anyone can give voice to that in the semi-permanent form of a book, it’s you.

    A week ago I could not crossover in the grass, I fell without moving ! Yesterday I was back on my big wheels skates after some visits to the skatepark, and I instantly made my first crossovers without trying ! Crazy how it just came to me with general practice ! And you are right, it is a LOT of fun ! Can't wait to backward crossover, hockey stop and all... My cool blading journey is only beginning !

I am a simple guy from eastern Europe who is trying to correct his mistakes and at the same time teach his wife, for all these lessons that you have on the channel. my English is bad. But I was able to understand everything you were talking about. This applies not only to Crossover, but also to Ride stairs, 360, balancing, etc.

    I've been watching several videos to try to improve my skating (I'm a beginner, I practically only go forward comfortably), all the videos I've seen so far, in Portuguese (my native language) or even in English, haven't helped me much. I try to get some tips from more advanced friends too, but they do little to help someone who is rusty like me (I'm starting to learn at the age of 44, after a life of sedentary lifestyle). I have to say that I have never seen anyone with teaching as simple, but as good as yours. After watching some of your videos, I was able to do some workouts and do things that I thought I would never be able to do. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge in such a clear and educational way.

    Great to see. I'm only 5'4" on 4x90 and crossing over with these wheels is a task

    • @remyhendrikse6450
      @remyhendrikse6450 2 года назад

      Agree, I do only crossover after the apex of the corner because 4x90 creates more speed and need more space. On 4x80 I can start the crossover earlier, the speed gained and the space needed will be less.

I was desperately trying to learn crossover technique on quads and no quads skater’s explanation was helping me but then I came across your video! Your inline technique helped me learn crossover on quads within 1 hour of practicing 🥰. Your breakdown and visual was simple and didn’t give me a migraine. You’ve got a fan for life!

    May I add something to your great video, that bending the knees adequately is the secret behind good crossovers. I notice many make the mistake of trying to do crossovers with inadequate knee flexion, and the stuff in between the groin gets squashed in the process😅

    I performed my first cross over tonight. It’s the fear of falling that prevents me from trying. You mentioned an important point. The one knee needs to be bended outward slightly to make it easier to cross.
