I am so glad that you mentioned using very little equipment. There is no substitute for getting a massage with the hands. A massage therapist told me that once. I believe it to be true. People can buy the machines, but the experience you give with your massage cannot be duplicated. It is your personal touch. 💟
Yes, xo
So true. Nothing can replace my job as a massage therapist.
Agreed…
A
Absolutely agree! As an esthetician I feel the use of the hands for a thorough massage is where the true benefits are for my clients! Nice video!
As a massage therapist I LOVE watching your facial massage. It’s like visual ASMR
:))xo.
Sooo helpful and informative Nerida! Thanks so much for sharing this. I am currently an Esthetics student and watching your videos gives me such a great treat on top of everything else that I’m learning in school. Blessings!
Ashley G how are you liking school? I’m considering to get my license as well.
i completely agree about the machines. Nothing replaces human hands. I was watching a RUclipsr who came to you and then went to other spas for facials. They had all the gimmicky equipment but no one had your touch OR your command of skin care.
I really like your video. Well done and lovely. Although as an aging person, I am personally not fond of anyone pulling on my skin with anything other than a light touch. With a younger person it is not quite as important because they retain good skin turgor. But with those aged 50 or so or older the skin turgor is not as resilient and all that pulling I fear would cause unnecessary stretching of one's skin causing more laxity. I'm all for underlying muscle strength and I understand regarding lymphatic drainage, as you would want to direct your movements along the sides of the face and down the lateral neck and into the clavicles. For best appearances, muscle strength training would be good for the lower 1/3 of the face vs. the upper 1/3. No one wants strong muscles between the brows or in the forehead. Your video does look relaxing and you are very knowledgeable. Thank you.
Yes, every skin is different....:)) Thank you Patricia
I love how clean your hands and fingers are
very little equipment its so good tip often i watch ur facial video thx to share ur ways
Wow, thank you for sharing your knowledge in facial massage. A touch of your hands are better than machines 💕👍
Fantastic video as usual, thank you Nerida! I'd love to see a more detailed look on how you encourage clients to massage their own skin. Neck work like your were doing looks fantastic but seems very awkward to do on one's own features... Any tips?
I have more tips on this coming soon! Thank you for your support Erin
Love the routine, flow and pressure
Thank you:)
Face massage is the best!👍
I agree...its sooo important:)
Thank U so so much. Ur voice ur movements ur gentlness....❤ love U so much. Please make more videos. They r always informativ kind motivating 👍 Is there any solution for a double chin (im 34 with oily skin with very few aging signs on my face and neck)? Thank U for the answer beforhand. Love U ❤
Thank you for such beautiful words Tamara!.... more coming soon on the double chin tips:))
Hi Nerida, beautiful work. 💓 do you think that someone who struggles with acne, should they do facial movements like that ? Is it moving bacteria within the pores to other pores and causing more acne ?
No, it's not moving bacteria. I massage skin types differently. This model does not have acne, so best you follow my acne videos for massage moves:))
Thank you so much for your videos, Nerida! I'm in my second week of esthetician school and loving it. I was wondering, do you ever use steam while massaging the skin? If so, is there a type or brand of steamer you recommend? (And, what do you think of ozone in the steam?) Thank you!
Yes, I use steam often when I am massaging..... just not in the videos because of the noise:) You can use steam with or without cream on the skin. Ozone, you use only on a clean skin (no creams) for a short time for killing bacteria..I.E after extractions
thank you so much for informative and helpful tips!!😘😍
Thank you Ara:))xo
Love your video. I'm trying to find a video for a massage for oily & very acne prone skin. I only trust your videos. I can't seem to find one. I'm losing electricity around my jaw & mouth area & it's scares me. I don't want botox or fillers either. Do you have a video on this massage? Help please!! Thank you! You look amazing!
Look at my Crystals videos and Laila's:))
Thank you so much for another relaxing, great video!
What’s the best way to get rid of hyper pigmentation around the mouth area for darker skinned women?
I am shooting a video this week that will answer this for you :)) stay tuned!
Fantastic video
Could you recommend a moisturiser that works well with massage and won't clog pores
I use the rejuvi hydrating mask as my massage cream..... I love it! If they are oily I use the healing gel and maybe a serum. But if you watch my recent videos I show the steps.
Hi Nereida! I wanted to know if you believe that fase tools such as rollers and such are really helpful for anti-aging?
really helpful no, but they are nice for certain things! nothing beats massage:)))
Thank you for another fantastic video!
Thank you :)
GREAT FACUAL MASSAGE
Hi I'm ve watching from Bali Indonesia, do you have a Facial massage video step by step?
Yes, I have many YT videos showing step by step:))) hello to you in beautiful Bali ❤️
@@NeridaJoySkincare thanks ..
Excellent video.
Thank you Miriam
Love your video’s!! What do you think of face cupping. Is that a correct way to massage the face as well?
I like to be able to feel the facial muscles with my fingers to know the pressure needed..... and in some cases certain moves could be a form of cupping. It doesn't seem as precise as i would like my moves to be personally.... but, I am sure some could master it for results.... I would be concerned about blood vessel breakage etc
Hello! What’s a good product to use in your salon for facials?
I use rejuvi mostly www.educateyourskin.com
Thank you for another great video. What do you think about the high frequency? Is it effective?
Yes, high frequency has been around for a very very long time and is effective. I still use it occasionally in my acne treatments, but if you use it in a treatment with AHA's, such as Glycolic acids, (or other acids) you can get a chemical burn on the skin so be careful. Thank you for following :)
This is so relaxing to watch :)
Helpful videos. Tanx a lot
Thank you for all the information provided! Are there any restrictions when you do a facial massage to people with botox/hyaluronic injections? Thank you again!
Adriana N Just not right away after the procedure. You have to give the skin at least a week or two to absorb the injections.
Restriction is fat filler. Do not massage.
This is like he best little video of how to massage your face properly😲
Thank you:))
Thanks u God bless
Hello
Can you please share the massage face cream that you like to use? Thank you :)
Hi Nerida, what is your favorite massage cream with Shea Butter? Thankyou kindly.
I will address this more in my next week shoot, as i don't like to make my videos about product brands so much, but, if you read some comments on my videos, people have noticed some of my products i love to use:))
It's facial massage okay to perform on people with rosacea and active breakouts or acne
Yes, but your massage moves are a little different...... and not so much directly on the breakouts. What is important is the serum and treatment products you chose to perform your massage:))
How can I find someone in Minneapolis who uses your facial massage technique? Thank you.
Hello Nerida Joy, I love all your videos, but there are some words i can not understand? Do you have any subtitled videos? :(((
I do not, I am so sorry:(
youtube provide subtitles... look at the corner of the video
Isn’t facial massage bad for acne? Since it stimulates the glands?
Massage is not bad for acne, it doesn't stimulate glands like a topical alcohol does. But my massage is lighter in pressure, shorter in length and with healing gel and maybe a flavonoid vitamin for added healing. If a skin as pustules, my massage is very very short (maybe only a couple of minutes) being careful to not break open pustules spreading infection:))
Thank you Nerida. I have been using a retinol lately... But i noticed I'm getting Milia.. Is this normal?
Its not from retinol.....and no it is not normal. You can send a pic to educateyourskin@gmail.com so I can see:)
What brand of massage cream do you use??
can i use any oil say coconut for massaging my skin or can i do it with any kind of moisturiser ?i sometime s use yoghurt as a s moisturiser on my skin can i massage it with that ?ur videos are really helpful....thank u ....i am glad i subscribed to ur channel
If you have a dry skin type, coconut oil may be ok..... it depends on your skin and the brand you are using. Its good to maybe just use a moisturizer for your skin type and massage that into your skin:))
thank u nerida
Is this better on wet skin or dry skin ?
Hi does using Orange peel powder on face with honey may cause any harm

Silena Batagia Yes, it’s a TUTORIAL
Thank you for your informative videos..I love them!
Thank YOU Andrea:))
hi does using Orange peel powder with honey mask does any harm to skin
I do not think it would do harm...... warm up the honey a little so you are not pulling on the skin to much when you are massaging it in.... i am sure your skin will be nicely hydrated after:)
Nerida Joy thanks so my for your time
