Thank you so much for your great observation. I take great pride in making sure things are done to a very high quality. Thank you for watching and commenting!
cant believe as experienced as this guy is that he is putting both legs under a a trailer held up by a scissor jack!! Nice build though man ! Even a high end scissor jack is not dependable enough for me to trust my legs under there, only get 2 of those ya know :P
Beautiful build. Great ideas for our build. Ours definitely won't be to this level, none less great build and lots of ideas. One question, do you weight the trailers prebuild and post build minus and toys?
I’m curious why you use staples on the walls? Seems like a high quality build, I usually hear people complain about staples in rvs. I am just curious not trying to make a judgement.
I was just curious on why you didn't glue the cedar strips to the ceiling along with the brads or Staples I thought possibly maybe is for if you had to go back and pull some down for repairs very nice work you've got a lot of labor hours in that but the finished product shows integrity of your building very nice.
Such a great and thorough video! Love it 😉 I am wondering how you measured in order to so accurately cutout the interior wall for the windows after cutting the outside trailer hole?
You do nice work, but what is the weight of the trailer when this is completed? I would think that building the cabinets out of 80/20 and framing with metal would be much lighter. Also, what’s the R value of the insulation, it doesn’t seem very thick. Overall it much better build quality than any factory built RV.
The trailer weighs 6500 when it is finished, and each inch of insulation is 7R, so you end up with around 14R in the walls and 21R in the ceiling and back wall. Way better built than and RV. Customer has had it all over the Western US this summer. Not one issue.
You did a great job however the heavy materials used doesn't meet my needs. There are much lighter materials I will be using to build mine out this next summer. I also prefer a more industrial look and build for more use case scenarios, and the roof should be used to deploy solar panels.
This trailer was pre owned by the customer. We can make most trailers work, but he prefers to order them with the specifications for what you are going to want to hall and what you would like in it. This unit including the trailer will run you around 75,000. Hope this helps!
Nice job. Pricey, but not if you consider that even a studio apartment in many places can rent for 2k per month. With the few other costs, like a spot to put it on or a tow vehicle, people living in one would come out ahead by 4-5 years or so, even if it costs 60-70k.
How much would it cost to have something set up just like that everyone should have one of those cause you could also live in it if you have to, so how much would one cost? Could you answer that please?
This unit will run about 75,000. and could absolutely be used for living in. Our 20ft trailer we actually have lived in it off and on since it was built. We currently have it in Oklahoma on the lake for our vacation spot!
We got it off Amazon. Just make sure you order one that will work for the size of the TV you are using. Also you may have to drill different holes in the bracket so it will hit studs in the wall to secure it properly.
To everyone that says how much ? Im a retired carpenter, over 65😂 My Paw paw told me when i was comin up, If you have to ask how much is that ? Then you know you can't afford it !!!
Nice build. But how come you are disregarding your viewer's comments? People want to know... who made the trailer, what the weight was, how much a job like this costs (ballpark)? What's the big secret?
I absolutely love the job that you guys do but I had to watch 99% of it in mute. That is the most annoying background music. I think I’ve ever heard in any video anywhere. I probably lost a lot of information which is a shame because honest to God it literally hurt my head.
I don’t know where he gets the energy to do so much to perfection but it is truly inspirational and motivating, great set of eyes and hands bud 💯 👑

It's just an internal thing us guys get from building cool $h!t
Best build on RUclips yet, and again condolences
Thank you!
Thank you so much for posting this! I am building an 8.5 x 20 in my driveway right now. Cheers
That's awesome to hear! Best of luck with your build! Make sure you share some pictures when you get it finished!!
Fantastic workmanship, I was very nervous when I saw the water and electonics in the same closet though. lol
We have had our trailer for 4 years and it seems to still be working quite well. Thank you for watching!
Can you please post the video that shows your black and grey tank size and locations, thanks.

I will point this out to him.

Did you install the tin sheets under the frame? If so, how did you account for the axles and wheeel travel?
Very Nice 👍
Thank you!

can you please do a video on how you did the metal on the under belly of the trailer?and does it effect the wood at all?
Needs a slide out with 2 recliners in it 😅😅
We just have not ventured down the slide out avenue yet. Maybe in the future.
Beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!
Such a great and thorough video! Love it 😉 I am wondering how you measured in order to so accurately cutout the interior wall for the windows after cutting the outside trailer hole?
We had good plans from the start of this build. So it was fairly easy.
Beautiful job, that .24 metal makes the whole outside look awful. What size does it to take to not look wrinkly like that ?
Nice 😊
I appreciate your kind words!
Thank You
You're welcome
Do you know what the trailer ended up weighing after all of this was done? wiithout the jeep.
Where and what spare the windows ?

Did you mount your fresh water tank on the wall? That’s a lot of weight and especially when the trailer is moving it will be slushing around?
Yes, but it has bracing all around it that keeps it against the wall. Just hanging it without bracing isn't a great idea.
Das the trailer has a grey tank or black tank ???
I did not seen it in the tv
No this trailer does not have those tanks, they can be added but this customer only camps where they have full hook ups.
What is the paneling your using it looks like smart board. 🇨🇦
It is!
Thanks for sharing. What is the brand of the trailer you started with and how much would it be to build it for me?
This trailer was pre owned by the customer. We can make most trailers work, but he prefers to order them with the specifications for what you are going to want to hall and what you would like in it. This unit including the trailer will run you around 75,000. Hope this helps!
It looks beautiful. Is it just me or does that trailer frame look curved at the beginning?
The trailer frame is straight, but the outside does curve before and after the wheels.

Do you sell the metal bed lifting hardware.
Hi John, if you send him a message he can direct you to the hardware he used for the bed. It can change depending on your bed.
Did you get a company to do the spray foam or did you DIY? Thanks looks awesome 👌🏽
Yes, we have a company we use to spray foam for us. It can be done DIY but we like supporting this family. They have been so good to us.

How many coats of color are on the floor
We used several bads of flakes, but only one coat on the floor.
What tv mount is that?
We got it off Amazon. Just make sure you order one that will work for the size of the TV you are using. Also you may have to drill different holes in the bracket so it will hit studs in the wall to secure it properly.
Why not use rivnuts ?
Not sure what area you are referring to, but it would add cost and way more time to the build.
Murphy bed doesnt look like it would work properly once a mattress goes in.
Works like a charm!
How much is a job like this
Depending on the size and what you want in the unit. From 45,000 to 75,000.
You should answer your comments 🤔
We had a death in the family. Sorry for my delay.
To everyone that says how much ?
Im a retired carpenter, over 65😂
My Paw paw told me when i was comin up,

This unit will be 75,000.
@@hensley-homes Not including trailer or???

No secret, My Dad died and I took a break from answering questions. I have answered all these questions now.
@@hensley-homes Sorry to hear of your loss, condolences and prayers for strength and comfort

Can’t satisfy everybody.
You should go back and watch each episode of the build. The music is different there.
Such a shame to put that revolting jeep in a beautiful trailer.
