I like that idea of pining the measurement on the border. Thank you very much for sharing this table runner. I have some Christmas mini charm packs on hand already.
Thanks Sherri, perfect timing as I need to squeeze in a table runner before Thanksgiving. The colors and attractive use of nine patches is perfect. Much better than the usual Thanksgiving ideas tumbling around in my head. Although I've quilted for decades, I haven't made any table toppers or runners yet. 👏👏👏 Now I have a beautiful idea with a color palette inspiration I will be able to use for the entire season.
Might add, I've only made one pillow and that was in 2018. Just this morning I watched your video for the envelop pillow. Also saved the one for the zipper pillow as have two blocks from my last quilt for one of our sons. I even have the brand of zipper you suggested set aside with the two blocks. Sherri to the rescue again. Plan is to make at least one pillow with each quilt until I no longer look at the 'project' with a less than willing upcoming task to tackle.
Nice tutorial Sherri! I truly think the fabrics you choose make all the difference. I like the one you showed in the introduction. It's nice bright and cheerful!😀
Enjoyed seeing the on-point version and step-by-step instructions. I still struggle with on-point layouts, and didn't know that the ends are to be added on last. That will really help the next time I try this. Thanks so much, Sherri!
I’m so glad I found this. I have 3 beautiful Christmas fabrics that I was looking for a pattern for a table runner and this is perfect. Thank you so much!
what a lovely table runner and really lovely simple fabric, but so elegant LOVE IT. Thank you for the demonstration, it is always nice when you demonstrate like this. Thank you for sharing and do keep your lovely videos coming. Linda x
I have made one several years ago and will need to do a new one as my kitchen colors changed. I love the neutral fabric colors. What a change in your fabric line too. 😊
Love the tutorials! I have only been quilting for a year. I am a work in progress, I can use the help! I have a love hate relationship with my seam ripper! Lol God bless!
Great tutorial. I am ready to freshen my decor after Christmas and I have some Balboa which is so pretty. I just purchased the pattern from the Etsy shop but the directions have (4) 9-patch blocks not 3. So, I am not sure of the finished size of the lengths. I noticed the pattern had been updated but the pattern download I got did not say updated.
Love it! Going to make this today. Question for you and Chelsi. I'm new to on point quilts/projects, how do you know how big to make the squares to cut down for the setting triangles for whatever size project you're doing? Same with end triangles. thank you. -Robin Voak, Magnolia, DE
Love the table runner and have attempted to purchase the pdf on the Etsy shop. Still says sold out so I’m going to rewatch the video and make some notes. I’m very familiar with 9 patches and on point settings so it won’t be a problem but I was going to purchase the pdf to help support your videos and tutorials.
Thank you for this tutorial😊 I have sewn most of it in a couple of hours, so funny. I just wonder how you quilted it Sherri? I can't see that in the video. Looking forward to your next tutorial 💗😊
Hello, I just clicked on the link for your blog and it says the page no longer exists. I wanted to try making this for my mom but I would like to know the size of the triangles. Could you please put a correct working link of your blog? I bought a few of your patterns for quilts. I love them. Hope I can make this. Thanks in advance.
Love this tutorial but would like you to go a step farther and include the quilting. I feel many of us get the top done and then say..."what now?" So quilting ideas would be much appreciated, especially for small projects we would quilt on our own machines. Thank you.
This is an easy to understand, well presented video on how to make this table runner. Thank you so much for sharing 😊

I love that you are changing your videos to show the steps. As a mew quilter, I appreciate seeing the actual cutting, sewing etc.
