I learn from every video. I am happy you spoke about how you cut your fabrics. Might be nice to renew this concept in your current videos. Toot Mat’s horn so to speak.

Beautiful Table Runner! I am new to discovering quilting all from a damaged baby quilt that my 12 year old grandson was refusing to keep. My favorite to try for my first quilt is your tutorial on the rail fence. Thank You for your precise teaching to complete the quilt.

My mom was a factory seamstress and often left things hooked together like that. She sometimes gave them to my sister and me to cut apart. She used an industrial/power machine and sewed like you do. We learned on that machine. I miss it.
Your quilted runner is so beautiful. I'm learning a lot from you.

Confidence comes with experience...clearly. I have to check and re-check... read...re-read. I cannot wait for the day I have your knowledge...well, half your knowledge anyway... so I can just sew with such ease and confidence. It relaxes me to watch you. I obviously over think everything and you never do. Thank you for these videos. they help so much.

I retired three years ago and have been searching for a new hobby and decided to drag out my Mom's 61 year old Singer which I learned to sew on. Newbie to quilting! I decided to make my new great grandson a quilt for his crib when he arrives in December. I followed your tutorials and made a very basic square block quilt. I learned how to bind the borders following your instructions. Thank you so much.

I have to say. I've watched you chain sew these quilt tops and it seems much easier to bring the entire quilt together in the end. I've been converted. I'll use this method as much as I can cause it takes out the mix up factor and the confusion that I sometimes encounter when laying out blocks to piece together for a top. Thank you so much.

I watch a lot of quilting tutorials and always go back to yours, because you are by far the best instructor on you tube! I miss my Mother’s Pfaff commercial machine. Watching you makes me sorry I don’t have her machine. I actually learned how to sew on it. Sadly when she passed she wanted me to donate it to a decorator..my mother was a decorator and had many different commercial machines. I love the rail fence pattern. It’s always so easy, and the selection you used are beautiful. The whites set it off best. Thank you for inspiring me. Berta

(I live in England and have joined you email group, which I love, but all the fabrics are marked in dollars not pounds, which at my age I find confusing.) Thank you for these videos, you show every step and explain clearly what you are doing. Lilian

Thank you for reminding me that the stretch on the crosswise grain is a factor. I am a long time garment sewer, but new quilter, and even though I "know" that, I hadn't really factored it in. I am loving your videos, and Grant's Pass is a possible road trip for me. I think I will put coming to your shop on my calendar.

You use a lot of the methods of construction that Elenore Burns of Quilt in a Day uses & they are time savers indeed. Love this Rail Fence Table Runner in the metallic Christmas fabrics!! So pretty.
