I take advantage of the siesta almost every day if I can in California. Porto's bakery in Orange County is the closest I have been to a Spain bakery. Spain is now on my list thanks to your videos. So, one day I will make it. All the treats look fantastic, thanks for sharing. Excellent job as always!!
We love some of the treats at Porto's. But, did you see our OC bakeries video? Those are some of our favorites. Not Spanish, per se (I actually think that Porto's is Cuban -- I remember that their guava turnovers were good)), but good bakeries, nonetheless. Now, if only we can find some decent Spanish-style churros con chocolate in SoCal. . . 😀
@@steveandyoung I have not seen the OC bakeries video, I will check it out. Yes, the original owner of Porto's (RIP) was born in Cuba, but her mother was from Spain. I know you like croquettes and they have them at Porto's.
