inscryption was honestly such a surprise to me as a mainly multiplayer fps gamer. It definitely did not seem like my type of game but i got it purely because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews and I was reminded of how special gaming can be and how damn addicting card games can be. Also i love the little wub wubs from the game you can hear in the background.
Yeah, I noticed that a third in and absolutely love how he did that (the wubs I'm talking about) because I always liked that sound in the game.
I've had rewatched multiple times just to appreciate the incredible production value, editing and overall perfection/realism to the game itself. You literally brought Inscryption to life.

This showed up in one of those automatically generated playlists by the name of "Infant-juvenile music". A song about pulling someone's teeth out with plyers and scratching one's eyes out with a rusty blade is trully a lullaby for children.

I can't understate how much I enjoy this. From the tiniest details, like how this could easily be Dan playing a less leafy Leshy, to a tiny line about "show their hands" to "mind of a beast", all the way to the sheer production. Absolutely stunning, once again Dan Bull. Really brightened my day, since I've been sick for what's felt like weeks.

So I'm autistic and have been a fan of Dan for like. 8 years now? Since I was like 12? And he is consistantly one of the only artists to produce music that I can and will listen on repeat and loop for literal hours at a time. This is one of those songs! I found it before he released the music video, and the acapella version, and for like a week now I've been listening to it religiously because I've been thoroughly obsessed. Thanks for another bop Dan, if you ever see this. You're an absolute legend.

The amount of production put into this is amazing, and is in itself terrifying. The table, the props, the cards, and so much more detailed things you've done. You show so much care and effort put into this and that's despite the music and lyrics to weave it all together. Got to say I enjoy your videos as well as a certain mustachioed fellow with how much creativity you throw down.

When I first subscribed last year, this had been your most recent upload and I was so excited, because at the time I had never before seen a video game song for a game I had already played! At most, it was for games I saw other people play... But then, this masterpiece blew me out of the water for a game I LOVED. I've learned every word because I listened to it nonstop on loop for my daily commute last October for my job working in a haunted house at a theme park. My special flavor of autism means when I find a song that captivates me, I am ENTHRALLED. I've since found your other raps, especially the ones about being autistic, and it really inspires me in terms of writing. Much love!
This is absolutely amazing, capture even a sliver of the games truly unique atmosphere would made for a beautiful song, but you managed to that and so much more. The detailing in your props and set is on point, the off-putting nature of bright eyes in the darkness was done amazingly (especially the leshy speaking swirl effect over them, it looks so good), really excellent lyricism, and you did all this while keeping the most beautiful thing about Inscryption, it’s amazing story, spoiler free
The fact this entire song stayed confined to the Angler and earlier is such a nice touch that manages to keep the best part of all of Daniel Mullins games intact (even his trailer gave away more then this, I’m truly stunned)

i've been following you for 6+ years at this point. i love almost all of your songs, and though it's my opinion that writing the chorus has always been your weak point, you absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one. the next best chorus of yours i can point to is probably your doomfist rap, and this one might even be better than that. truly exceptional work.
